We spent two nights at the Hotel Bac St Germain. The room was overlooking the street but quiet with the windows shut and the aircon worked very efficiently. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was cosy but clean and all in working order. Breakast on the terrace was great — a simple continental style breakfast but really nice to have it in the open air looking out over the city. There is a good cafe on the corner right next door, and all the museums etc are within easy walking distance. It's an ideal area to stay in.

Great location! Very friendly staff. Comfy bed. Excellent breakfast with a lovely view. A good cafe/brassiere a few doors down serving food all day with friendly waiters. I would love to go back again soon!

Hotel Bac Saint-Germain is situated right across from the Metro entrance that makes getting around Paris easy. Or if you’re prefer to walk which my daughter and I did, it’s only 30 mins to the Eiffel Tower and 15 to the Louvre. The room was not massive but was big enough and had everything you want. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

What an awesome location. The hotel is centrally located in the heart of Paris. It's a few blocks away from the Orsay Museum and just steps away from the Rue du Bac Metro stop. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. My room was perfectly quiet even though it faced one of the busy streets. If you are staying here, make sure you take in breakfast at the rooftop. You'll get a descent breakfast and be rewarded with a beautiful view of Paris. When I return to Paris, I'd love to stay here again.

Conveniently placed hotel. Breakfast on the terrace is "owl". Pity that the landscaping foolish enough.

Great service, didn't even have to ask for my bags to be kept after I checked out, they just offered. Rooms were spacious and clean, breakfast was lovely with a great view off the balcony. Great central location, would definitely go back.

Price is quite good but like a hotel it does not look.
Negative: WLAN does not work properly, you always have interruptions. Kitchen very small and very cold, tables actually thought for 1 person. Breakfast always the same, you can not choose anything. If you want to have city a baguette and a croissant 2 croissants it means no. In the room there are many mildew stains on the walls. Toilet paper is very much saved. There are no German TV channels in spite of that on the list which are on it. Showers, ventilation and klospülen from other rooms are clearly disturbingly audible. The room was very clean and comfortable.
Positive: The staff is quite friendly and helpful.

I got screwed over by an Airbnb and luckily Hotel Bac St-Germain had an opening and was here to help. Now keep in mind that this review is done in relation to price. I’m not saying this is a 5-Star hotel, but they know this and it certainly deserves 5-stars for the price you pay! Staff is friendly, rooms are clean and nice, AC/plumbing works great, it’s nice and quiet when you need it to be. I haven’t even checked out the terrace breakfast yet but I will in the morning!

Scam the foreigners, gets in the door price and when you get the prices are multiplied. 1 cafes 2, 60€ and then you zampan 5€

The Desk agent Cleopatra was amazing and very helpful. She was the best!

Overall not bad, but somehow very crowded. Narrow hall, Close Elevator. The room we rented was declared 22 sq. M. M. Feels no more than 15. No Kettle. Breakfast-service.

The Hotel has the advantage of being located in the central area but the rooms are very small and not beautiful, benefit maintenance.

By choosing the Hotel for our city break in Paris, we were looking by location and price criteria. Hôtel Bac Saint Germain fulfilled both of these criteria. 20-30 minutes walk to the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, the Cathedral of Notherdame. We received more than we expected, as the friendly atmosphere at the hotel made our trip very successful.

The hotel is in a great location — — — a neighborhood, with local stores and fewer tourists than areas closer to Notre Dame. Breakfast is great, on a rooftop terrace with a view of the Eiffel Tower — which is also the place to go to see it shimmer every hour on the hour. The room, even the larger one, is adequate but for a long stay, a bureau or chest of drawers would be really helpful. The staff is helpful and the price reasonable. I would go back.

Very well situated Hotel. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Generous continental breakfast with freshly squeezed orange juice in a lovely room at the top of the building overlooking the chimney tops of Paris and the Eiffel Tower. Metro just across the road. Comfortable room. Most enjoyable visit. Thank you.

Friendly and charming, rooms small but tasteful, not too noisy despite the very, central location, close to most of the places I wish to visit.
One downside: we could ask customers to lower voice and television after ten hours, as a courtesy to their neighbors.

This is my second stay at this small, typically Parisian hotel in a nice neighbourhood (Saint-Germain-des-Prés)! The rooftop terrace is TOP! I loved to spend my evenings very quiet! Very cordial customer Service. The location is really perfect! Very close to the Monoprix, the cheap, the big grocery store in Paris. And a little further (10 minutes on foot) you will find the Seine, the Louvre, the Tuileries garden and more! Eiffel Tower 30 minutes walk (is done very well by taking the Rue de Grenelle which will bring you in front of the Invalides). My room was nicely mimi and clean! On the other hand, be careful to bring a good adapter if you come from abroad. The only plug in my room grilled it direct! Nonetheless, nothing but positive about this hotel! Enjoy your stay! :D.

A nice hotel with pleasant and helpful staff who all spoke English. Good breakfast served on the sixth floor terrace with a view over the rooftops north towards the river. The hotels location is very good, being right next to the Metro line 12 which means you can get anywhere quite quickly. Only a 15/20 minute walk through the rive gauche and over the river to the Louvre. Would happily stay there again!

Excellent value for a hotel very well located in the 7th arrondissement. Although the room is a bit narrow, the breakfast panorama is fantastic!
The stairs and the elevator are also very narrow and deserve some work.
Despite these reviews, I would recommend the hotel.

Clean, nice and at good location. Very gentle people. Small as most of the Hotels in Paris are. Breakfast is basic.

Superb location, right off the Metro at Rue du Bac, and walking distance to all the main attractions. Staff were so lovely and helpful. Rooms were very basic for the price, no tea/coffee facilities so had to go to the bar down the street for tea and coffee! Free Wifi was great!

We really enjoyed our stay here for two nights while in Paris. The rooftop eating area is very pleasant and the breakfast was perfect, even including fresh squeezed orange juice. The Wi-Fi did not work in our room on the 3rd floor, but was available in the lobby. Very clean and felt safe.

This is our second time staying at this hotel and it meets our needs perfectly. The location is excellent and our room was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. It is quiet and close to many cafes and restaurants, bakeries, a convenience store and within walking distance to all the major sites in Paris. We would stay here again.

My experience at the Hotel Bac Saint Germain was excellent. The room on the very top floor had a beautiful view of the Paris skyline, and was comfortable and well equipped. The staff was super helpful with my internet issues and finding taxis etc. The breakfast was great. Convenient location close to some great brasseries and the Metro. All in all a good choice and I would definitely stay there again.

As ever, the Bac St Germain is comfortable, friendly, homely and decently priced and in a lovely neighbourhood, well situated for business or visiting. That is why I have been staying there for years. Back in a few weeks.
