A place that breathes conviviality but also the pleasure of food.

I loved this hotel. Small boutique staff that remembered you during your stay. We had a great room with an outdoor patio. I would be very eager to return.

A wonderful hotel with great breakfasts and gourmet dinners. Room all individual and for franz. Conditions large.

Convenient location close to metro, attentive service, old fashioned charm with modern amenities, incredible hotel breakfast.

We stay here primarily for the breakfast, which is sourced from the best purveyors. Baguette and croissant taste more fresh than what you get at the bakery. The only disappointing item was that the hot chocolate was not as thick as it was the last time we were here. Note that these are small rooms and may have a strange layout — toilet was in a separate room and had to walk around to wash hands. Carpet seemed newly replaced and fresh to walk on barefoot. Also, if you stay here, take advantage of the dinner reservation next door.

Utterly wonderful and charming small hotel. The epitome of 'boutique'. No more than two dozen rooms, each unique, each 'parisian' — from the wonky floors, exposed beams, roofline and street views and old furnishings. Size is generous for paris (although you pay for it) and the layouts can be quirky. Our room had the weirdest toilet layout, yet a stunning three-window room with lovely flower boxes… don't expect Marriot-like international 5* conformity and you will just love this hotel. Note that guests have priority booking for the wonderful Chef's menu dinner next door. By day this is a popular informal bistro. By night it's an outstanding, generous and affectionate tasting menu of French regional cooking revisited. One of my favourite meals ever. For the location, staff, rooms and bistro, this is my favourite Paris hotel.

I highly recommend that you stay at Relais St-Germain and have a dinner at le comptoir.

I love this hotel and the restaurants very much. The breakfast is superb.

A good Hotel well located, the rooms are nice and original.

We loved the location most of all, in the center of the Paris Latin Quarter, located near many great restaurants and shopping. Great service and a very nice restaurant in the hotel; lovely French breakfast each morning included. Nice amenities in the rooms — robes, slippers, etc. No clocks in French hotels.

To live the real atmosphere of Saint Germain. The restaurant is spectacular and the rooms are decorated with success.

In its restaurant "Le Comptoir" of the great Yves Camdeborde has defined the new kitchen a bistro, with dishes such as their scallops grilled in butter of algae. In the evening you have a fixed-price menu.

Great location and great people watching, no doubt about that. However, the service was ok and the food, for the price, was Mediocre. I ordered the steak au poivre and there was little poivre in the sauce and the potatoes were lacking — they were mashed, but almost liquid. No consistency. The steak was fine. I would expect more for 45€.

Fantastic food. But, the rudest wait staff that we have experienced in paris. First restaurant that we have eaten in that they are trying to turn tables. We were still eating desert and drinking our wine when they brought us our check. I thought it was because we were americans but the tables on both sides of us were treated the same. Food 5 stars, service 1 star.

Modern bistro, lovely food. Service was good as they patiently translated the menu for me! ). It was great sitting outside on a warm day with a glass of wine to soak in the Parisian atmosphere. The food was traditional bistro fare and menu was extensive. I had the cod gratin which I would recommend if you're not after a big meal and my hubby had the beef cheek which was hearty and tasty.

You've got to eat at this place! The atmosphere is casual and typical Parisian bistro. The service is friendly and accomodating but the food is where it's at! I know there are other restaurants in Paris with food this good but to get the kind of food they're producing at the prices they're charging and all in a casual relaxed atmosphere is pretty special. It's really one of those dining experiences where you want to hug someone when it's over. We had several meals in Paris and it is was by far the best.

We were expecting a wait at 5pm on a Sunday evening. We were just hoping the line would be short enough to allow us to catch our evening train! However, to our delight, there was almost no line and our little party of 2 was seated immediately. The food was delicious, probably our favorite meal in Paris. I'd suggest brushing up on your French though (to read the menu), although we ordered somewhat randomly and it still turned out pretty well.
