Great room for a fair price, and great location but the dobbel bed was a twin bed, and when nothing is holding them together it's not good to share with kids. It roled to the sides while you were sleeping.

I would have thought well before choosing this hotel. I do not argue, the place and prices are set, but everything else … One in the double is still everywhere, but the two of you will constantly bump into each other. A maximum of one night.

Great location and value! You feel so much you're in Paris there.

Friendly staff. Small rooms with tiny toilets and showers. Everything was clean and functional. Great location right next to La Sorbonne and walking distance to Cathédral Notre Dame. Rooms have A/C and a small TV with local French channels.

Excellent location good attention of the employees who try to help you in what you need would go back and recommend it.

Very good localization, near Bvd Saint German, metro, St Michael. Quiet street. Room small and comfortable. Friendly checkin. Coffee besides the hotel. I would recommend.

Very small rooms they show you double room but it's not the same. The space of the room is only one double bed no roaming space. Bathroom is as small as American style refrigerators.

It's pretty much one step above a hostel but so so afordable and the clerks are so friendly and informative. The location is clutch.

This hotel has a nice location, and good prices in comparison with others in the same area, but, at least in my case, the bathroom was horribly small.

Well located, close to neighborhood Latin and Notre give me room small but comfortable, staff very friendly.

Quaint little budget hotel in the heart of Paris. It's nothing fancy but perfect for the price.

Convenient location (we enjoy walking in Paris and this is central to all we love about the city). Good prices for what you get. If you expect an American sized room in Paris in a decent location, bring LOT OF MONEY. Breakfast was a bargain. Likewise with the restaurant next door. Nice ambiance with good quality food. Staff spoke English quite well and was very helpful. Nothing is perfect these days but comparing this to our lodgings up near the Opera it's MUCH better in ALL respects. Would gladly stay here again.

The hotel is fairly regular. The brig sno have to do with the pictures, they are small boxes of matches, cost me get up in the shower is so small that is all. The Wi-Fi will not fatal the following, when you manage to connect (only in the lobby or hallways) goes extremely slow. In the room there was no Wi-Fi, the service does not speak Spanish, only French or English of no where because my mother. The only thing is the location and that the heating is all cloth, cold is not passed.

Hotel that I use for many years and that gives me satisfaction to all points of view. Excellent value for money.

I will comment in English to save not only french people but everybody: Run, run away from here. Sleep here only if you have the choice between this hôtel and the street. In the corner of the room I saw shrooms. The bed wasn't clean. Don't come here. Please! you will hate paris just because of this hotel.

I just made an account to make a review right now. I am from the ghetto of my home town. I have lived in some seriously poor conditions, in very run down houses, and apartment buildings. I have finally made my way up the chain in life, and come on my first vacation I could afford. I booked, what I thought was, a two bed room with a shower and a toilet. We got here they gave us a room, when we entered, the room was already occupied! Although that made us a little nervous about leaving our luggage behind, we decided to give them another chance. Just to find out, that they "misunderstood" our reservations, and gave us a single bed in a room that had mold all over the floors with mushrooms growing in the corners. I have never smelt such an atrocious smell in my entire life. There was no toilet or shower as well. When we decided to leave, they argued with us, pretended they didnt know what we were saying, even though I was speaking french to her, she decided to start speaking Spanish! It was so frusterating, I left the $100 with her and stormed out of the hotel to go across the street for better accomodations. If you have the chance, DO NOT COME HERE OR BOOK A ROOM HERE.

Nightmare hotel. Terrible rooms, terrible service, terrible facilities with no redeeming qualities except close to the sacre coeur. Stay away from this hotel. Me and my girlfriend booked a double room en suite for three days only to find our reservation had been 'misunderstood' due to miscommunications between members of staff and told that we would have to go showerless for our entire holiday (28 degrees). Upon reading other reviews it appears that miscommunication of ensuite reservations are commonly 'misunderstood'. No consolations were offered but after repeated probing we managed to organize a shower room for one of our three days. One of the staff also told us the hotel only has 5 shower rooms that it is common to organize guests to have only one day with a shower room during their stay. Their service was abysmal, no hair dryers and even when asking for an extra towel, we had to wait for one of the staff in charge of inventory to finish her nap. Toilet is in the hallway and the door doesn't even close fully. This hotel definitely soured me and my girlfriends trip to Paris and caused alot of unnecessary stress. Dreadful.

Like it. Very small rooms but perfect location and price/quality ratio. Most suitable for young couples and independent travellers.

For 40 euros maybe for the area the cheapest next to world famous BASILIQUE DE MONT ST PIERRE MICHELLE But why like a junk hostel just because it's a famous neighbourhood, no showers anywhere, toilet on the hallway for all, pink in the room.

Highly Do Not Recommend! Bad Experience! Booked a Reservation and had to stay somewhere else. Would not allow food in the room, Was locked out. Not 24 hour reception desk! Not friendly people.

The only reason this place gets a one star is because it was in a good location and nothing got stolen in my room. I stayed here because I read so many positive reviews. The downsides of this place are: It's located on a very loud street, the staff doesn't speak English very well, the breakfast is poor and expensive, the rooms are very small with paper thin walls, the bed is very uncomfortable, and it felt grundgy and dirty. The pluses: Walking distance to tons of cafes and markets.

Cheerful staff, clean rooms and the WC in the hall is likewise clean. The balcony views from the upper floors look out on the city. The elevator is quiet and small, but it works, unlike previous reviews, where there was a hike up, we just pushed the button and the elevator did the rest. The TV works, the shower is fine, the room was tiny but cheerful and well appointed. I love the balcony. I am a people watcher. You look down on the street and the Sorbonne School of Architecture (I believe that's what it was). Plenty of convenient cafe au'lait establishments nearby. Use the shower early, as there was a trucculent Austrailian complaining about no hot water by 9am. You'd think he would have learned, since he said it was the second time it had happened, to take his shower the night before, so he doesn't have this problem (which is common in many hotels in the civilized world). The staff is small, but they are very helpful. The orange juice is fresh. The coffe is good. The guests are lovely (including me! ). There was a moment when checking in and the clerk asked my name, and I said "English", and he scowled and said, "but I am speaking English, sir! ). He asked again, and I said "English". And he turned red. Very funny. He didn't realize my NAME is "English". Hah. A good laugh when he realized and apologised profusely. For 72 Euros, you get a view of the city, a clean, well lit and comfy room and a lot of giggles.
