Unigue place, really authentic and charming. Hand decorated rooms. Not recommend for anyone with access issues as most of the rooms and up a spiral starcase! It also has a garden area at the back of the property. Excellent location. Perhaps you might also describe this place as excentric and rustic — It made my stay in Paris even more fantastic!

Postive: Good location in Paris negatative: Shutter out of service (impossible to close them), it does not change towels and sheets (they aren't a 3 stars hotel), a bathroom as small as a toilet, siphen, trash not emptied, cleaning not done between two Found some fruits under the bed and probably several of the hairs and dust), only one light worked, the room is old Desite the style is old (the wall boards are half fixed).

— — — — — — — — —-— — — the price of the hotel in Paris was very affordable. The building is very old and there is no elevator! The top floor was a good exercise. Especially when you're moving. And the communal toilets are on one floor and cramped. There is a shower room. Towels and sheets can be changed daily. I was in the shower room because there was not enough outlet. The first room has a narrow shower, a shower, a closet, a whole country, a second room and a spacious table with a door.

You love this hotel or you hate it. If you like the romantic setting and love the pittoresk nature of this hotel, you love it. If you are used to the comforts of business hotels and the accompanying staff, you will hate it. Located in the very hart of Paris, I loved it.

Peculiar but central located, lovingly dishevelled, boutique hotel. You'll either love it or hate it. What it lacks in facilities it make up in character and ambience. No bar. There is a bar just across the road though. Lots of stairs so likely not suitable for those with mobility challenges.

This hotel is one of the worse hotel I stayed in life life. Expedia should remove them from their list. It is a back-packer place and can not cost more than 30 euro per night. i got sick. There is no heating no window no washroom and front desk has no support and even they do not have a computer.

The rooms are very quirky but really nice. Staff is friendly, and the central location makes it easy to walk to where you want to go. I think it's a little overpriced, there is no breakfast, but overall a nice experience.

A gem with a great service and a hidden courtyard.

I stayed here in the fall of 2003 and loved it! I had a beautiful, clean and quiet room on the top floor and shared a large bathroom with another boarder I never saw or heard. The location was great, a block or two in from the Seine. Renee, the proprietor was absolutely lovely and very patient with my limited French. I had such a positive experience and fond memories of my stay, that I stopped by just to say hello when I was in town in 2008 and 2012. And the price is extremely reasonable.

Charming hotel in the heart of Paris After having some rather unpleasant experiences at other Paris hotels I was recommended this little pearl in the center of Paris, close to Pont Neuf in the 6th arondissement, Saint Germain. Very affordable prices considering the location and how pretty the hotel is. The rooms are very nicely decorated. The whole atmosphere is very quirky with nice balconies freely accessible with table and chairs to chill over the back garden. Our room was adorned with a tile mosaic on the walls and frescoes mimicking Delacroix's Femmes D' Algiers. The room was clean all the time and the service was daily. The shower was nice and warm. The bed was very comfortable as were the sheets. I am absolutely convinced that for foreign tourists wanting to explore Paris, there is absolutely no better location than the Hotel de Nesle It was incredibly quiet (room facing the garden) – I didn't hear a single noise either night except for one night when the guests in the room next to our came up noisily late one night, laughing and slamming the door. If you hear noise it’s not because of the thin walls but because people doesn’t know how to behave when they live close to other people.

We stayed at the Hotel de Nesle from September 5th through September 12th. It was a wonderful experience. The hotel is beautiful and charming. It has the true character of a old French boutique hotel. Our bedroom window opened to a beautiful garden below. There are dining tables to eat in the garden, and there is also a little balcony with dining tables. We would occasionally sit out there and eat croissants and drink espresso in the morning. I am absolutely convinced that for foreign tourists wanting to explore Paris, there is absolutely no better location than the Hotel D' Nesle, right at the intersection of Rue Dauphine and Rue De Nesle, you can see the Louvre, the Siene, and Notre Dame from across the street. By far the best thing about this hotel is the location. It is very convenient to be able to stop back at the hotel and grab a jacket or drop off shopping bags without having to take the subway back to some far flung destination. You could easily pay $300 + a night staying at some corporate owned generic hotel, or you could stay at this unique and conveniently located hotel for about $100 a night. Stayed in this little pretty and cozy hotel in may 2008. We were given the room for 2 at the top floor and it was a joy walking up and down the small hotel for showers at the very clean shared toilet at the ground floor. The room was unique and extremely cozy. The lady that own this attractive place (i assume, the fat one) was also extremely friendly although we hardly spoke any french and had difficulty with the payments etc. Given it's price, and extremely convenient location, I will definitely choose this charming little hotel as my budget choice in paris.
