We miss Paris and we miss Hotel Le Notre Dame. My husband and I had such a positive experience staying at your quaint hotel. The staff were warm and professional. The room and especially the view was amazing! So many landmarks in walking distance and so many good restaurants to choose from. It is located a few steps from the famous cathedral, in the busy and lively Latin Qtr. Request a balcony over looking the Seine river. The rooms were designed by Christian Lacroix. Very nice hotel Very accomodating staff.

Chose it online as it looked a little quirky, it is. Warm welcome, great view of Notre Dame from my pillow. We are back next week for one night and looking forward to it.

So I called in here as there was a free table outside offering an OK view of Notre-Dame cathedral. The waiter was attentive but his English was very very limited, I know who would think in France they speak French :) The food was OK but not great, the price was extortionate just like everywhere else in Paris, that's close to an attraction. For the English visitors to give you an idea, a ham and cheese toastie, French fries and a white coffee no change from £16.50.

I agree with the guy who give one star I came here and politely asked him if he can understand English he replied to me as he is angry And the waiter also so rude I told him what your problem? The other sister interfere and he said what you want I will assess you Really why some people here put 5 stars Not worth even one!

Le Nôtre Dame serves bistro-style cuisine in continuous service and it does it well. The dishes are plentiful and tasty. Even on "simple" starters, such as shrimp avocados (14 real large shelled shrimp, avocado, salad, tomatoes, dressing and homemade mayonnaise) or eggs mayonnaise (egg, homemade mayonnaise, potatoes in vinaigrette, salad, tomato), don't make fun of you as is often the case in other bistros.

Very clean hotel. Staff was very helpful to whatever question you had and so friendly. The rooftop bar has one of the most beautiful views you could ask for. Drink are a little pricey but it was to be expected.

I am astounded by anyone who has given this restaurant 5 stars. Our waiter was the rudest waiter I have ever had, constantly speaking French to us when he knew we only spoke English and then rolling his eyes when we said 'pardon? '. He seemed to have something against us and was slamming our cutlery, food and drinks down on the table while pushing us out of the way. He knocked one of our champagne glasses onto to the floor, smashing it, and then carried on like it was our fault. He reluctantly cleaned up the glass and took 5 minutes to bring a new champagne out. The food was average at best and overpriced. When it came time for the bill he ignored us and then said wait. Finally he came with it 15 minutes later. I am being kind when I say this man is an absolute pig. Do not eat here!

The setting is the only positive of this place! The food is to vomit, far too expensive. A 16.50-euro burger with a steak that you don't even ask for cooking, bread and an egg. The tomato is next door, and where's the cheese? The fries are white.
Frozen pizzas at 10.50 euros, which give a stomach ache after. To avoid.

Very rude staff. Served old reheated pizza. Had a goat milk cheese sandwich for 5.5 Euros, which was okay. Bad decor. Definitely the worst cafe we have eaten at in Paris. If this place wasn't near so many major attractions I think they would shutdown. Don't recommend, there are better cafes around.

Beautiful building. Far too many tourists. It is best to go in the evening or in bad weather.

Beware pizza worthy of Picard has 10 € 50 do not make you have, you pay only for the view.

Very well located, very good view of Notre Dame. I used to go to this café very often two years ago. I went back today with a friend visiting Paris. Shame! Mice everywhere! Not a mouse like that can happen but mice! 7 or 8 who wandered quietly between the tables and one tried to get into my purse. I discreetly warned the server that obviously was aware of it. Knowing that this establishment serves food is absolutely unhygienic! It amused my friend a lot but me a lot less.

What can I say. Unmissable… like all Paris… the beautiful church and up a street, a flea market with painters, handicrafts and bars. Notre Dame is much cheaper than other central Paris sites.

It's good but not great. If you're near the Notre dame cathedral and you have a minute to sit down it's not a bad choice. Just not a great one.

Fantastic view if you hit it right. Then it’s worth the extra few euros for your coffee or water to sit and watch the world go by in one of the most beautiful cities.

Haughty personal. Server having a blatant lack of professionalism. Mocks some clients with colleagues even though they are in the room and can hear it. Kept on passing without seeing me even as I was trying to challenge him. He gives me the morals while I ask him politely a glass of water.

The worst cafe/restaurant we visited in Paris. Extremely rude staff, poor quality food and expensive. On top of that another patron put their baby on the table right next to us and changed the dirty nappy.

The best thing about the local is the view to the Notre Dame Cathedral, but the prices are very high.

Good Parisian brewery, better place than tourist places in the street behind. In addition to the view of Our Lady.

Went in, staff were very rude. Don’t normally post reviews on places but this deserved one, as we left without being served. Amazing how the staff really don’t want to be there, if only I could give this a — 5 rating.

Rude waiters who are assuming people are not speaking French and say bad things in their back. Food quality less than average for the price.

The only good aspect is location. The food for a group a few people arrived rather lukewarm. A stake meant to be well done arrived rare and with bits of inedible parts. The prices although ok for this part of Paris are much higher than the food quality. The waiter was pretty much responsive and friendly.

We did not stay at this hotel but we did enjoy a lovely, mid-September lunch here. We luckily stumbled across this jewel and took the last 2 available, outside chairs facing Notre Dame Cathedral. We enjoyed a leisurely lunch of charcuterie et fromage along with some wine and French beer. Once we were accustomed to pedestrians passing so closely to the table, we sat back, savoring the food and the sites. Service was very efficient and friendly enough. Price was really decent.

The service was rushed and inattentive. Ordered a burger and ribeye cooked Medium and they both came out Rare. The pricing is outrageous for the quality of service and food. I would highly suggest finding another location rather than waste your time and money here.

Menudo Assholes! We wanted to have a coffee on the terrace looking at Notredam and they tell us Q on the Terrace no, that inside. We enter and say Q at Table no, q on the bar. All the tables had coffee. Plus an awesome bad milk. Horrible service.

The reception is horrible! The staff is more than unpleasant, hardly a hello, never smiling, you have to ask 3 times when you want to have an ashtray, a total disorganization. The staff turned off the patio heater without any reason. Too bad for a restaurant as well located. To avoid at all costs.

Brasserie food. Reasonably priced. Enjoyed Red Mullets and fried potatoes. Good portions.

Bad food and hideous vin chaud and pricey. On the bright side they are very fast so for a quick eat it might be the right place…

A great place to see the cathedral. Nothing else special. Worth taking pics. The price is higher than average.

Friendly welcome to this brilliantly located gem of a hotel. Right from the stairs with the different colours to each step this hotel had a wonderful mix of Alice in Wonderland and French quirkiness. Our carpet appeared to be made of logs. Amazing views of the river and Notre Dam ideal for watching Paris go by.
Great breakfast too.
We will be back.

Good brasserie with a nice view towards the Nd possible the reason of the prices being a little over the average for a brasserie. The food was good and tasty, our waiter was friendly telling a lot of jokes entertaining the clients and professional also. Looking at the large number of visitors could be a little more tidy.

Superb position and bargain drinks. Sat out on a Saturday night at midnight with a 50cl of Côtes du Rhône for 9euro. We've been round the corner paying 3 times that for a leader wine. Quirky speedy staff. A rare find in the centre of tourism.

Very nice view of Notre Dame. Every time I go to Paris a stop for an esspreso there.

The staff was unable to quickly fill orders. The quality of the food was suspect. We ordered a banana split… not the most French of desserts, but an easy one nonetheless. If you use a good banana that is… the first one we received had to be sent back because the banana was half-rotten (see photo). They sent us out a new one, but only after a bit of hassle. One of our party took a tray to the back of the head from a clumsy waiter. Didn't even bother to comp a part of the bill, no visit from the manager who was watching from nearby. Find a better option, these guys just want your money with minimal effort.

We did not make a scandal and ordered cafes and the unpleasant and ironic server had the gall to say that the beetles no longer existed and in compensation (we were 2) we had a Speculatos each! And we have settled our note without history and I regret it… Brewery to avoid because they only have tourists and don't care…
I share the opinion of a client and our server passed without seeing us.

We waited 30 minutes, the waiter went three times next to us without seeing us. Being in the business, I find that unacceptable. And as soon as we got up, he told us you were leaving. While he was serving people who had arrived after us.
I wouldn't recommend it.
Being French and tourist I would not put my feet in this establishment.

The hotel is in a wonderful location with a metro station across the street it is easy to get anywhere in Paris. The staff were all very friendly and helpful.

Best 2 nights ever in Paris! The staff arranged a 3rd night in an other hotel nearby for me because I missed the last room that day. I was unexpected in Paris and called when I arrived at Gare du Nord… Well decorated room and good bed, big bath and clean! Location superbe, I arrived by cab and just walked for 3 days in the environment of the hotel. Had to buy new shoes but there is enough choise is Paris, luckely the sale was going on! My creditcard was overpowered but it was money well spent! Next time I am in Paris I'll sure book this hotel again.

You could not ask for a better staff. They help make you experience in Paris a great one. The hotel is clean, comfortable, and in the heart of the city. METRO is literally across the street!

This place is centrally located, good value (for Paris) and beautifully decorated. We found the staff very friendly and that the rooms were clean and well looked after. Being Paris, the room was on the small side but still comfortable. Breakfast (in bed) arrived on time and was delicious, and the ad-hoc bar on the 1st floor provided a spectacular view of Notre Dame at sunset. Our room was inward-facing so had no view at all, but this didn't affect our stay as we were out for most of the time, and indeed it was probably quieter than the road-facing (and Notre Dame-facing) rooms!

I was there for a couple of days and really enjoyed my stay. The area is vibrant and being so close to Notre Dame is amazing. Nice service for sure and the design of the hotel made by Christian Lacroix is stunning. Rooms are small but very cosy. Also I needed to iron a few clothes and asked to the reception desk for an iron board and its iron. For such a pricey hotel the iron board should look good… well the one I was given was smashed and the fabric was torn apart. Not a deal breaker but if I was a manager in that hotel I would be ashamed!

My wife and I spent 3 nights there. Had a 3rd floor corner room that overlooked the cathedral. View and location were fantastic! I would definitely want to stay here again! We parked our rental car about 2 blocks away in an underground and used the metro right across the street for all our transportation around Paris. The latin quarter is loaded with all kinds of wonderful little family-owned restaurants and food-stalls. The hotel, location, and neighborhood ambience are exactly what you dream of in a weekend in Paris.
