Hotel Studia Hotel

Very nice. The owner of the hotel and staffs were friendly. The building is old and quaint but there is a small elevator that could only fit 2?! people… the hotel is near Sorbonne.

Well located and clean. Very good service at the reception.

Clean, very well located 24 hour reception. My only one but it is that we touched a bathroom with the toilet on one side and the tub in another.

The rooms should be refreshed.
It is a pity that the orange juice is not included in the breakfast.

The staff was nice, the room was clean, and it's a great location. My 2 complaints are fairly minor annoyances related to the bathroom. First: the toilet was stuffed into a corner such that your knees were crammed against the wall; not ideal. The second was more annoying: the water pressure. The installation must have been botched in our room, because the water pressure was great when the shower head was below it's holder. But when it was in the holder, it was just a trickle. Great for a bath, not ideal for a shower.

If you are looking for a nice place to stay that is extremely close to the main highlights of the city, Hôtel Studia is the perfect place. The room was clean, staff was friendly, and the short walk to Notre Dame and various attractions was fantastic. This hotel is located in the Latin Quarter that is completely filled with stores and restaurants! Any type of food that you're looking for is right down the street. I will certainly stay here again on my next trip.

Amazing location. Staff are nice, but the rooms are dissaponting. Clean bedsheets but dirty toilets and very low standing rooms.

Cons: rooms arw small (studio), no sliper pros : very helpful staff with good english very clean hotel and clean rooms very convenient location (7 minutes from the RER line that comes from the airport and goes to all major sites) a second metro stagion is infront of the hotel (30 meters from the door) reasonable price good internet speed.

Got a smoking room first, the smell was horrible. Been switched to a room with sewer smell instead.

Small hotel on a busy street, but so central! Great location, clean, friendly management, and good prices for what you're getting: a basic, clean room. Just make sure that your room has a shower in it, otherwise you have to pay to use the shower on the top floor. I would definitely stay here again, but I prefer the shower in the room. :)

We loved this little place. It was small and on a busy street, but it did the job well. Out room was always kept clean and had a lovely view. We had a room overlooking Blvd. Saint-Germain, but noise wasn't a problem. The management was very friendly, even providing insider tips on things to see. The price is great and the location is amazing — just a view minutes' walk from Notre Dame, near a great bakery and cheese shop, and literally right next to a metro station. We will stay here again if we ever go back!

Convivial owner, staff and (in my one week's experience) other guests are helpful and welcoming at this comfortable but basic hotel. As you climb the stairs from the Maubert-Mutualité métro, the hotel's sign will be framed by the stairs. A small elevator can spare you climbing stairs in the hotel but it's not quite wheelchair accessible as the elevator door is on a landing a few steps up from the lobby. Quieter rooms open on the court; if you're susceptible to noise and must take a room facing Bl. St. Germain, you should take one on the highest possible floor. Breakfast is basic. Next visit, I may forego the hotel's € 5 breakfast in favor of one of the many cafés in the quartier. It'll be a hard choice though as that will mean fewer opportunities to chat with the staff and other guests. No Wifi was available in October 2011 but I think the hotel was planning to offer it soon.

My friend and I stumbled upon Hotel Studia in 1977. We were so happy that someone spoke English! After our stay there, we have been back to the Hotel many times and sent many friends to stay there as well. P Le and staff are just great!
