Review of Hotel Cluny Square 3*

INCREDIBLE LOCATION! Walk around the back of the hotel and you’ll find great little cobbled streets with a heap of restaurants! THE DOWNSIDE: The hotel itself has a flight of stairs you need to drag your luggage up and the bath is high and difficult to get into — it also doesn’t have a shower head attached high on the wall, so you need to sit in the narrow bath to wash your hair. Perhaps you can get around this by getting someone to take your bags to reception for you as there is a lift once upstairs. With regards to the bath, they may have other options, you just need to ask the question as it is really difficult for those less agile or less flexible to get into. THE UPSIDE Very reasonably priced. Rooms are serviced daily. Free Wi-Fi! If you get your laundry done, it is given back to you with each piece individually wrapped! The rooms are clean, cosy and comfortable. It has air conditioning! The decor was so lovely and you could open the window to sit in the bed and watch the world go by! The brothers at reception are very kind and helpful and speak great English. Reception is manned 24/7. The location is brilliant! Walk to most tourist places and you feel quite safe there. The restaurants and cafes are tremendous and reasonably priced. There is a supermarket behind the hotel with everything you need. SUMMARY: If you don’t have any leg/balance or health issues, and you can put up with sitting in the bath to wash your hair, it’s a fantastic place to stay. And would highly recommend it!
