I’ve complained 3 times about the a/c in our room and they tell us they cannot do anything. We’ve run the a/c for 3 hrs already as per what they said, but they a/c still does not go cold. They tell us we could not do anything. And just wait cos later the weather would change and it would rain. The receptionist says its not his job to fix the problem and that I should wait until the morning manager.

Hotel with a lack of flexibility is obvious, the customer to them is certainly not important! Following the events of the jackets in yellow in Paris the WEEKEND of 8 and 9 December, our Ministry (Belgian) of Foreign Affairs, we avoided strongly to go to Paris. The travel agency TUI would be reimbursed same in full to its customers. We had booked for a night at the Hotel Emile. It was a night non-refundable, non-exchangeable. Saw this a case of force majeure, and having regard to the council of our Department, we have asked the hotel, not a refund, but the possibility of change of date. And no, nothing to do! In spite of my numerous phone calls (4 calls) and my emails (4 emails), they have simply refused to do anything! Even the smallest goodwill gesture or understanding was impossible for them. The manager of the hotel is either absent or unreachable. It does not even to his e-mails. Sad reality of this hotel very unwelcoming who prefer to lose customers than to make even the smallest goodwill gesture…

The location is nice as is the free breakfast. The rooms are small but that is to be expected. I would recommend staying here if you're looking for a centrally located 3 star hotel in Paris.

Great location, economical sized room but very clean and modern. Only odd setup is that the showers have glass walls and are adjacent to the room… So no real privacy between shower and bedroom. The toilet has its own room. The shower situation wasn't an issue for us but could be awkward for people traveling together who are not a couple or close family/ friends, etc.

Gorgeous Hotel years ago but it needs a little updating not much but some will go a long way. Croissants were fresh, coffee was good, and service was excellent.

Cute, cozy, and excellent location! I stayed in two different rooms, each with the most incredible balcony views. The staff was very kind and helpful. Breakfast was great — fresh and delicious croissants, baguettes, butter, jams, tea, coffee, and orange juice. There is a little lift in the building or a spiral staircase. Also there are balconies in rooms that are not on the top floor (was not clear on website) — just ask! Excellent value, would definitely recommend and stay again!

Lovely little boutique hotel. The rooms are paris small but well appointed. The elevator is TINY so we walked up to our 5th floor room (from floor zero) every day. The breakfast was croissant, juice, coffee (no egg, meat, cheese) so we ended up eating other places since we like eggs. The real reason to stay here is the location — Le marias is AMAZING for shopping, eating and nightlife and you can get a room on the street with a little balcony. Just run down to the wine store, next to the cheese store, next to the meat store and you'll have everything you need for a lovely little picnic to tide you over until your 8pm dinner plans!

A bit too simple and not very tentative. Nice design of rooms with great view. Simplr brakefast.

Stayed in 'la suite' on the top floor for 4 nights and was really disappointed. Incredibly cramped room without shower, only a bath in what is essentially the middle of the room with a shower head on a hose. Room is essentially built into the roof so roof slants down on one half inside and is quite annoying having to bend down even when I'm only 5'11''… As far as service from hotel staff goes it is minimal — clean towels and sheets was as far as it went for us, when asking for an iron and ironing board beware there is apparently only one for the hotel and it must be returned after you use it. Don't get me wrong, price/photos are indicative of what your stay will be like, but after booking what is the most expensive room in the hotel, felt like it was really lacking basic hotel pleasures you expect when paying for a nicer room. Breakfast was simply coffee/OJ + croissant/baguette in a bar style setting which also doubles as the lobby. Would recommend staying in a similarly priced airbnb if you can if not simply for more space.

Hotel Emile was wonderful. They have 24hour check-in, the location could not have been more perfect, and it was great value for the price. The rooms are small with the shower right by the door, but neither were a problem. The beds were comfortable and the Wi-Fi is strong. A main metro line is right across the street and there are plenty of amazing restaurants and shops within 3 blocks.

Very small hotel and very cramped room. Getting up the stairs is a pain and the elevator is for a one man trip. (No luggage! ) Rooms are fairly nice but with paint chips on walls and stains on the curtains and once again very small. You get what you pay for. Also, breakfast was just a croissant and juice (nothing else. )

Cute hotel, fantastic location! I owe the person who recommended it to us a hug. The croissants at breakfast area to die for… Breakfast can be a little crowded because it's served in the tiny hotel lobby, so rise early or be patient.

A cozy french chic place in a perfect neighborhood, Saint-Paul or Marais district. The room is a bit small but french breakfast, a room with a view and its location (right in front of Metro Saint-Paul) was "parfait"!

Cute, small basic boutique hotel in the 4th. Convenient location for getting to the main attractions of Paris by metro or taxi and close to interesting neighborhoods to walk around and get lost in. While the hotel doesn't have many amenities and the rooms were small/simple, the service was excellent and the quality/finish of the rooms was closer to a 3 or 4 star hotel. Would highly recommend staying for a simple weekend getaway.
