The hotel is housed in a former private house dating back to the 17th century. The classic Parisian freestone façade leads to elegant and comfortable living spaces that have retained their period charm and character.

The 3-star Hotel de la Bretonnerie is in the heart of the charming Marais district, near the picturesque Place des Vosges. Rooms are individually decorated and include free Wi-Fi access.

The hotel boasts a central location and offers a truly Parisian setting with its cafés, flowering terraces and courtyards, as well as easy access to the entire city via the nearby public transport network.

The rooms are decorated with stylish furniture; some have exposed beams; others have a view of the lively Sainte-Croix de la Bretonnerie; and some feature a small living room area.

Nightly rates from $164 to $243.

The breakfast serving staff was excellent! The cleaning crew were friendly. The room was nice but loud in the mornings due to trash being collected at 7am and construction. The night staff behind the desk at greeted us poorly. Mumbling upon our arrival is no way to meet guests of your hotel. He had given us a code key for our room and when I came back down asking how it worked for turning on the inside lights. He spoke little English and I spoke little French. So I think he had asked me prior if I had put the key in the slot and told him “yes”thinking that meant the door to our room. Being in another country can be frustrating not knowing how things work. So since I hadn’t figured it out on my own he went up and saw it that I hadn’t put the coded key in the slot apparently like he had asked. So I was very rudely told “ I told you”. Also the day staff behind the desk looked put off when asked for a towel which is the only other thing we had asked for. Upon check out she looked like she had better things to do. Never being asked how are you or how was your stay. They were never engaging. I am very aware of what it takes to be in customer service and have been my whole life. I don’t expect the moon but I expect to be treated as if I paid you $150 a night or maybe act really well as if you care I am in your hotel. So being treated without good customer service definitely doesn't make me feel welcome or wanting to refer this place to anyone.

Nice place. Great location

Great staff! They ladies that maintain the breakfast cave work so hard, especially when anyone orders eggs.

Located in a very lively area where we find nice little shops and great restaurants, the hotel is human sized, the prices are correct and the staff very attentive. Excellent address I recommend.

Small place in a nice location. Close to train station and nice neighborhoods to do a lot of walking. Room was clean, comfortable but a bit dated. We were worried there would be a lot of noise outside, but after 9:30 pm, it was quiet. We slept great. They had a place to store luggage after checking out and let us use it with no charge. Very nice staff.

Just a basic hotel. Need to wait for the breakfast. No places available. A lot of noises from other customers. Not correctly isolated. We heard he steps of people on the wooden stairs.

Hotel full of charm and cocooning. We are warmly greeted with quality staff. The cosy atmosphere is secure. The room was very nice. The breakfast served in a beautiful vaulted cellar with a very considerate waitress offers fresh orange juice and pastries. Location in a beautiful area ideal for shopping. I recommend!

Absolutly a great hotel. We tried other hotels but this one is just perfect. Rooms are clean and staff is great. You are 5 min from Notre Dame and 10 min from Louvre. If you go to Paris this Hotel should be your first choice.

Nice Hotel
The bathroom and the decoration deserve a refreshing.

Very friendly staff. Not a great place for tall people. The bed was very short, I had to kneel in the shower to wash my head. Charming and rustic feel. But the lack of air conditioning and barely no Wi-Fi reception in our room would make me choose another place next time. But great location and the nice and helpful staff well worth mentioning again

Nice, quaint little hotel. Our room didn't have air conditioning so it was hot, but the the ambiance was great. The unique style of each room was nice. A good departure from typical hotels.

Vert friendly staff. 1 lady in particular was quite lively and a pleasure to talk to. Our room was nice and cosy.

This is a wonderful little hotel located in the heart of the Marais district. The breakfast is fantastic & Karen on reception is outstanding. If you stay here in summer, you may find it hot as the rooms are not air conditioned. Our only complaint is that we were there for 6 nights and the Wi-Fi didn't work at all during this time.

Good location but rooms are a little small. Good value for money though

One night stay in November: overheated Hotel on the edge of suffocating, very warm shower, fresh but hot orange juice…
To avoid!

Great location, has a wonderful french feel to it and is full of artful details. It feels like a local hotel and a chain. Just great place for everyone.
