Hotel was OK, price to high for basic room and no parking (advertising with parking but don't have). Hotel forcing you park in city parking, 2 days parking price 120 EUR. Not happy.

A little old fashioned but still a charming place to stay. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The decor is rather dated but everything is kept in good order and clean. I only breakfasted there and the buffet on offer was acceptable but nothing special. The location is a fantastic base to see all the major sites both sides of the Seine. One minor issue is that the Wifi is very poor, far too slow for this mobile age. Despite the minor issues I have still given it 5 stars because the overall package justifies that.

Location is excellent, walking distance to a lot of sites; the only downfall is there is no view of the city from any of the rooms. I stayed in the deluxe room which is more like the American standard that I'm accustomed to which was one of the best decission ever! There is no 24 hour room Service and the breakfast which was part of my deal is a little cheesy (there is much room for improvement) they did make me eggs and bacon upon my request. Over all I would recommend this place over several boutique hotels in the area.

Nice notice hotel without many amenities. Staff were nice, courteous and helpful. Good location with great restaurants around. Nice continental breakfast. However, the bathtub has a very high lip with a swinging half door. Diffucult to keep water in when showering. Getting & out was adventurous to say the least.

Everyone was great to deal with. They spoke English which was very helpful, and were all very accommodating. The hotel is in a great location, especially if you are there to see the Tour de France in late July.

We stayed there for three nights in Paris. The location is very central, walkable distance to most of the attractions! Service is also very good, the staff there were caring and kind. I will stay there again I think!

Positive: good location, neat and clean, nice rooms, functioning aircon, equiped OK, personnel very serviced minded and speak very good english as well. Negative: heating was on at same time the aircon (not adjustable) was on!?! no coffee maker in room, no complimentary drinking water in room?! this is after all a 4 star hotel, bottled water should be standard breakfast is expensive.

We really enjoyed our recent stay — wonderful staff & perfect location — quintessential Paris!

Great room (junior suite) and great service.

The staff was outstanding. Very helpful and courteous. The Hotel is located in the center of Paris and within walking distance to most attractions and the Hop-on-Hop-off bus. The only problem was that my bed was situated where everybody that had the room sat on the one side of the mattress, causing a dip that you rolled into, just about off the bed at night. The room needed a new mattress badly,

The location is unbeatable, situated so close to the Champes Elysees, right across from the gorgeous park in front of the Louvre. Unfortunately, the elevator is extremely inconvenient to use, and the air conditioning was inexplicably delivering got air into the room even when the thermostat was set to cold. Not quite what I was expecting for the most expensive tile in monopoly.

Great location, but terrible service. As soon as I checked in to the room, the first thing I noticed was that the sink was clogged, the thermostat was broken. On my last night, I had to call front desk to ask for a breakfast order sheet as the janitor did not leave any in my room. I called front desk and asked the gentleman to bring me the order form as I was travelling with my daughter and she was sleeping, hence I couldn't leave the room. The gentleman then advised that the best he could do was to put the form in the elevator and send it upstairs to me… which means, I'd still be required to leave the room to pick it up from the elevator! Checking out was a terrible experience, the taxi driver was waiting for me, it took 20 minutes for the concierge to come pick up my luggage, and as I finally got to the front desk only to find out that they double-charged me on all my breakfasts. I disputed them and the lady at the front desk had to go get my breakfast order forms and audited them one by one when it was clearly stated on the order forms what I ordered! I'm extremely disappointed and did not expect this level of service whatsoever from a "4-star" hotel!

Conveniently located and quiet. Very nice room, comfortable and perfectly clean. Bathroom with corner bathtub appreciated after a day of intense sightseeing! Nice staff Perfect.

Brilliant location of this Boutique Hotel. Staff very helpful, breakfast very good, loved my stay here.

Lovely hotel, small and cozy.

The three windows in the hotel room are all looking at an ugly ”courtyard” in the center of the hotel. It is about 3’ wide, and 4.5’ long. It is very dirty. The bathroom was nice, but the shower head fell from the holder and hit my head very hard. I picked up the shower head and tried to place it back in the holder, but it would not go back. Otherwise, the room was not bad. A nice bed, a pull-out couch, two TV’s, and a very large assortment of snacks and beverages from the mini-fridge.

Nice hotel with lovely staff. And I loved the park nearby.

Old, Fane ', not very clean, out of time.

We had nothing to complain about and felt good. The second Fahstuhl on the stairs is worth a ride;) We would not hesitate to book the hotel again. The breakfast buffet at 25 euros was unfortunately too expensive for us.

I stayed at the hotel for 1 night. The service was great, no complaints whatsoever. The room was small which is expected but it only had a twin bed. No free water in the room and I didn't have breakfast.

Junior suit with a view on a wall. Shower and sink clogged and shimmelig as well as cracks in the room. Needs a makeover.

Junior suite : shower and basin blocked, view on inner garden means view on a wall. Constabt noise from outside ventilation. Just outrageous. Not worth the price. Only positive aspect is the stylish furniture and aspect, although carpets need serious renovation.

There were problems with the payment. Booked on the hotel website in 4 months. For 4 nights. For the first day the payment was debited immediately. When calculating the invoice for a large amount. Excluding paid days, and at a higher rate. Promised to return for the first day for 10 days. After the proceedings and the provision of documents for the reservation account reduced, but the issue of return for the first day remained open. We have to spend time on correspondence. The question is not resolved.

On the positive side: Can't beat the location — close to place de la Concorde, and near the tube. Very firendly and helpful staff who went above and beyond to make our stay as pleasent as possible. Spacious and quiet rooms with a huge and comfortable bed. Also the bathroom was very nice and spacious. Room for improvement: The room could do with some TLC. There was a cracked tile in the bathroom and the bedroom could do with a lick of paint and an over-all touch-up. Also, the room was a bit too warm! The heater worked just fine, but the AC didn't… I would however highly recommend it and if I ever go back to Paris, I would look at staying there again.

A nice room, a nice and efficient staff. Only Bemol, the shower mixer was not working and so I had to use the bathtub.
The problem was reported at the reception.

Our room was a junior suite on the first floor and was very spacious. There was no view. The beds were comfortable. It got a bit noisy around 7am from the office and lounge located next to our room. The decor was nice but the furniture and door jambs were very worn. The location was wonderful. The metro was just across the street and there were many nice shops, larger hotels, restaurants and cafes nearby.

I got the single room on the fourth floor with balcony — that was a treat! Haven’t tried the breakfast so can’t comment on that but it won’t be cheap as it’s continental. The location is awesome, which means I pretty much don’t need to leave this side of the river ever cos everything that’s good is on this side of the Seine. But only problem is, it is such an upmarket area there are no supermarkets / 7/11 / off-licence / small convenience shops to buy water / snacks. I ended up eating 2 meals a day anyway… my other criticism is that I got there just before 2pm and I had to wait until 2pm to get the room key. Now I dunno if it wasn’t ready or they just do that to ppl. One more criticism — the street noise is loud and the windows / doors to balcony aren’t sufficiently blocking out the noise which starts at around 7am — bring ear plugs!

Very good location, staff very friendly and helpful, clean facilities and good size but the rooms already require remodeling.

Hotel Mayfair is a very nice hotel. The location is good, although not what was described on the website. Rather than facing Luxembourg Gardens, it is on a side street off of the road that faces the gardens, so the view was a disappointment. The room was well decorated, but the windows had panels that could not be pulled back, and heavy drapes that were difficult to completely open, making it impossible to open the windows and let natural light into the room. Very nice bathroom, and closet with safe. We were not aware of the additional $35 per night for a third person as we had entered this information when we booked and the price appeared to include everything. Front desk staff was very courteous and helpful.

We had a wonderful stay in this hotel. The staff were very friendly. The room was so big and the beds extremely comfortable. The location of the hotel is excellent. A short walk to all the major sights.

The room and bathroom were decorated nicely. Both were very spacious, which is rare for hotels in Paris at this price point. Location is great! It's across the street from the Tuileries Garden, and close to a ton of restaurants and shops. The people at the front desk were nice and spoke English.

Staff was friendly and helpful and could easily switch between French (when I was trying to use it) and English (when it got past my vocabulary). Great room, walking distance to the Jardins Tuillieres, the Louvre, Opera, Place de la Concorde; in fact, a huge part of what we wanted to see was within a 20 minute walk, and the Metro station across the street made things father out easily accessible.

A hidden gem! Elegant, authentic and yet cozy boutique hotel the very best location in Paris! Perfect for art-fans and fashionistas:-). I would stay for both business, romantic or family, but this time I stayed with my 9 year old daughter and we had the best days ever. Felt like true Parisiennes:-) Loved the rooms, which are large and elegantly decorated and the staff are both extremely helpfull and very nice:-)

I DON'T recommend staying at this hotel. I stayed there this past June and something went wrong so there was no Wi-Fi. The people at the hotel kept lying and telling me it would be fixed in a few hours, when it didn't get fixed my entire stay! After kindly asking what they were going to do for the inconvenience they said that it wasn't their fault and WOULDN'T give us money off of our stay… UGH. Strongly don't recommend staying here, not to mention there are NO views.

As a small business owner I want to personally thank a few members of the Hotel Mayfair for refreshing my understanding of how to NOT treat one's customers. We had a horrible experience when checking out of this hotel. The hotel staff embarrassed us in front of other guest and we're insinuating we were cheap because of a mistake caused by their staff's own incompetence. I would advise anyone that is interested in staying at the Hotel Mayfair to find one of the many other options in Paris. We contacted a staff member on Monday to ask about bringing our child to stay Friday that week, I confirmed with the gentlemen that we wanted a room with breakfast (12 euros in advance), the gentleman told me he would respond that evening with a confirmation. Several hours went by and we called and spoke with the gentleman again and he reiterated he would send the confirmation. 24 hours past and we called again and we were assured once again we would get a confirmation for our Friday arrival. At this point we considered booking at two other establishments near the Mayfair, but unfortunately trusted the man's word and continued waiting. Finally, Wednesday (nearly 48 hours later) we received the confirmation. Unbeknownst to us, the gentlemen mistakenly believed we didn't want breakfast, this detail was within an attachment in the email that we hadn't seen.

Like the area! Price and hotelrooms — perfect.

The Rooms were very nice and well maintained. The morning Continental Breakfast was excellent. The elevator was small and slow but a very minor inconvenience. I would recomment to my closet friends.

We hired the family room — two twin rooms attached, with one bathroom and one access room Very good hotel and fair value Good service, very good location in city centre, very nice and helpful staff and ideal for us as a family (kids 6 and 8) Recommend hotel without any doubt to anyone.
