Small, but clean and close to everything, including the Metro. Walking distance to great food and patisseries.
We stayed here three nights. We liked the location, as it was close to everything. The room was clean, there were no bad smells, the bed comfortable, the breakfast was tasty, and the staff were extremely friendly (in English). The hotel was honest / upfront about all charges. Be careful to make sure your room door is locked at all times, some creepy guy on the street (we believe a room thief, as he did not approach us) was waiting in the shadows at night to try to sneak in as the front door was closing behind us. We had wished they had a bolt on our room door. I did not like the shower-in-a-tub with a half-door… water gets all over the floor whenever you shower… but this was the same in every European country we visited. Edit: I just saw a review from another guest one month ago about possible bedbugs— this is possible, as I was lying in bed and felt something bite me on the inside of my left thigh and I still have a bite mark… I assumed it was a spider, but now I’m not sure. : (

Excellent location. You can walk to the Louvre. Hotel is small but charming. Excellent service. “Moon” is a wonderful hostess. Breakfasts were excellent. Highly recommend.
