Well. Me and my partner needed a few days away with all the stuff going on with my ex so we decided on a last min break. Upon arriving we were politely greeted by the staff who also were very fluent in English. We were given the room key and the Wi-Fi password and told where the room was. Upon arriving in the room there was no bed. They were having the carpets cleaned throughout the hotel. Wasn't really an issue until we took our shoes off and got wet socks. No biggie but not really what we wanted. We checked the room out and all seemed ok once they had actually put the bed back together. Betroom. You couldn't shower without a towel all the way down the side of the bath. More water ended up on the floor than on you. The toilet… The Mrs is only 5ft 4. When she sat on the throne her legs were dangling. I found this hillarious. She didnt. I then sat for a laugh. Again my toes only just touched the floor and I'm 5ft11. The bulb in the lamp was broken. The lighting in the bathroom was poor and the shower kept going hot and cold constantly. 2 sockets at the side of the bed didn't work and one of them even had a broken plug in it. Thermostat didn't work at all. TV had no English channels and the power button didn't work so when we wanted to turn it off we had to at the mains. All the doors slam so you can hear everyone. The spiral staircase to go downstairs was lethal. Bits of the steps broken so going down the stairs was fun… not. The lift took forever. I will say the bed was comfortable and I am funny with beds. The location is spot on. Literally 2 mins from the metro station so from Le Chappell/Gare Du Nord is really easy and easy to get anywhere. As for the restaurant we didn't eat there but from looks it was well presented. Staff we couldn't fault at all. Safes are available but at a cost. Personally I wouldn't stay there again.
