Made up policy prevented us from having 2 adults and a child in a room with a double bed and a twin. So I paid for two rooms. Sadly, I will not return to what was once my favorite hotel in Monmartre.

We had 4 fantastic nights at this hotel; A big shout out to the wonderful staffs… just awesome;
We will surely come back again… and most definately gonna miss Montmartre…

We have stayed at this hotel several times and love it. The rooms are small but clean, there are no closets but very small shelves and racks, they don't have fridges but if you don't ask for room cleaning they will pay homage to you with a small gift. The location is fantastic between the moulin rouge, the de la galette and the sacred heart. Near the place where they filmed The Fabulous World of Amelie. La via, rue des abesses, is a succession of late-night clubs but the rooms are quiet. The staff is wonderful. Breakfast is good, the breakfast room in the afternoon turns into a space for customers with free coffee and treats. If you ask for the room on the ground floor you will have the biggest room in the hotel, really huge, both the sleeping space and the bathroom. Very recommended.

Nice location. I stayed 4 nights and had do not disturb on the door everyday, but that didn't prevent the maid to enter my room, one day I was in the bathroom and she entered even though I had dnd on the door. The last day I had there as well, and I came back found my room cleaned, and my clothes on the floor behind a chair: clean clothes which was then covered in dust and dirty. I informed the reception that this wasn't OK, and all the receptionist did was looking through a book and saying the dnd was noted. They also have concept green, but the maid doesn't understand this, or hasn't been informed about it by management.

Wonderfully attentive staff, great location, welcoming and relaxing. We love the complimentary afternoon coffee/slushies break and were pleasantly surprised to be able to store our bags on the final day until 5.30pm, after checking out in the morning. Thank you!

Fabulous small hotel set in centre of Montmartre. Good value, excellent breakfast and facilities. I shall definitely be back.

Nice part of the city and a nice hotel. Bathrooms were a little cramped.

Location super, room sensationally small, housekeeping in order but expandable, cleanliness good (swap shower curtain #603), breakfast ok (get new plates), free Nespresso in the afternoon good (machine cleaning).

Fantastic hotel friendly staff, comfortable beds, amazing location and great value for money. Will be back.

Cool hotel with enough space. We even had a room to the street which we found great, as you will then get a bit of city life. Breakfast was also delicious and the subway is also very close. So once in a while we are just back to the hotel and have a few minutes of rest. Who wants to stay stylish, is right here.
We also rented the W-LAN device for our stay, which worked out without any problems. So we had free internet throughout the city.

We liked this hotel very much. The rooms and the croisants are really small, but everything else is very good.

Well received by Mohamed and Hayat, the stay in this hotel can only be a nice experience. An ideal location in a beautiful area. The room was spacious, well clean. Only one downside the breakfast is not very rich, the photos on booking have nothing to do with the reality but remains a just enough meal. I will come back to that.

It was a very good find in Montmarte — lots of restaurants down the street. Naguib was helpful with local suggestions and went out of his way to arrange me a cab at dawn to Orly airport, and even offered me a glass of orange juice (though breakfast was not included in my deal). Rooms are standard Parisian in size, spotlessly clean, comes with all amenities (except room slippers), soft towels and views from the balcony are decent. The only negative was hot water in the shower took ages to come.

The rooms and building at this hotel we're very clean, and the staff were friendly. As is the case with many European hotels the room was incredibly small but well-designed. I'll be happy to recommend this to a friend as long as they don't have a ton of stuff to fit into their hotel room and just want a clean quiet, place to sleep.

Location and staff were excellent, but the rooms are beyond small! I'm accustomed to small Eurooean hotel rooms, but I've never seen a room so tiny. There is space for a double bed and that's about it. There's barely room for your luggage let alone space to walk around. The bathroom is also extremely small. When you sit in the toilet your knees hit the wall in front of you (and I'm a petite person). It was actually pretty humorous, we felt like we were staying in a Hobbit hole! The rooms were clean and the location is fabulous, lots of cafes, bars, shops, etc. So I recommend if you don't mind a tiny space.

Perfect little spot for an overnight stay in Montmartre.

It's located in a beautiful neighbourhood right in the heart of the city. The staff are wonderful, very polite and helpful. The rooms are a bit small especially bathroom.

We had 4 fantastic nights in this beautiful hotel. My kids aged 7 and 9 loved it especially the little treats provided in the afternoons! Staff were so friendly and we were greeted every time we walked through reception. Great location with restaurants in the street below and a 5 minute walk to Blanche metro station. Can't wait to go back!

Hotel Basss has a perfect location and offers very good breakfast and rather small, but tidy rooms. The staff is super friendly! You will enjoy a cozy atmosphere here.

We were visiting from the United States and we're very concerned about the language barrier but there was nothing to be worried about. Everyone was exceptionally helpful and polite. I had lost my laptop power cord en route and they were kind enough to allow me to use theirs at the front desk. The petit dejeuner was lovely and delicious! We would absolutely recommend Hotel Basss, for service, cleanliness and also convenience of location. It is only a few blocks from a a metro stop and a walkable distance to a bus tour stop. Five stars!

Hotel Basss is an amazing place to stay if you want to immerse yourself into a paris culture. The staff on front desk are more then happy to help you with a cheery attitude. Great views of the street and clean and recently renovated rooms.

The hotel has a very good location, lots of restaurants nearby. In the evening it is sometimes quite loud. Rooms, as usual in Paris, pretty small. Bathroom really tiny.

It got entirely renovated recently and both the hall and the rooms have new furniture and a modern vibe. Rooms are extremely small so if you have a big luggage you won't be able to open it unless on the bed. Breakfast and free snacks are a nice touch.

I loved everything about this hotel. Only reason I'm giving it a four out of five was because the doorman was a bit of a tool. However, the room itself was incredibly clean and spacious, loved staying here during my visit to france!

Stayed for 4 days, nice small hotel, in a beautiful neighborhood in the center of Montmartre.

The location is fantastic! In the street there are tons of Restaurants, Bars, food shops (bakers, butchers, supermarkets, fish stores, specialties, etc. ). In addition, numerous boutiques and souvenir shops. Down the road is the Moulin Rouge, up the street, the Sacre Cuer. The Metro "Abbesses" and "Blanche" in 3-5 Min to achieve! Just great! Nevertheless, it is in the room, Surprisingly, really quiet, we were on the first floor and with the Windows closed you hardly heard anything. Otherwise, the rooms are but rather noisy, you can hear when other guests to their room. We were in the evening, but always so worn out that we already have not noticed:) The Hotel itself is of course not a 5 star Hotel, but for the price (125€ a night for a family room) great! The decor is simple, but new and modern. The beds are very comfortable, there was a small TV, small Desk, shelves, wardrobe with coat-hangers, but no wardrobe. The bathroom, however, is super tiny! You can not have two in it to stop! But it for showers, washing and toileting, it is sufficient in my opinion. Mirror, power sockets and hair dryer are available. The rooms were cleaned daily and the towels changed. The entrance area is very nice and welcoming, there is a small Aufenthaltsecke, where there is also a coffee machine for free use. In addition, a Computer with Internet connection, which we however not used have, as we do over our Wi-Fi mobile phones have used.

Excellent stay in the vibrant district of abbesses.

I stayed one night on 14 August 2012. Run down room (mattress stained, ripped, stained blanket, breloquante headboard, bed for 2 small), bath/washroom (should not be big if you don't go, must step over the toilet to go to the shower, impossible to get dressed in the bathroom), breakfast ok but it's not great! Hotel for one night no more.
