The room is a good size and a decent location for the price. Without traffic, It's about 20 min from the famous landmarks. If you're fortunate to get an upper room, the view is nice. The beds are warm and comfortable. The staff is friendly and eager to please. The breakfast is simple french/continental, but still good. The only complaints are it can sometimes get a little noisy with the traffic outside, and the Wi-Fi went out a few times. I would stay again.

Decent hotel however it is undergoing major renovations that were not mentioned when booking. Very noisy at night. Would not recommend.

Very happy with our 2 night stay here. Rooms are a good size also nice and clean. Powerful and hot shower was enjoyed after a long day. Front desk were friendly & helpful, especially George. Short walk from Gard De Nord. Metro station very close also. Area is a bit rough around the edges but perfect for a short stay. Would stay again.

Typical Paris hotel. Nice staff, good rate. Location is a bit questionable. You’ll need to brave to walk around the streets here — but easy to get an uber or transport link into the city.

Spent 3 nights there and enjoyed every minute. The entire staff from the manager on down were very friendly and helpful and went out their way to make us comfortable. The romm was small but since we only used it to sleep in it was more than adequate and very clean.

Really disappointed with this place. We booked ahead of time and upon arriving, after having to unload our stuff on the incredibly busy street, they told us they couldn't fit us in. They didn't have the courtesy to call when they realized they had overbooked, making us have to reload everything, which was very difficult since we were on a busy street. On top of that, they had rebooked us at another hotel which is a definite step down in services, room size (rooms are small enough as it is at BW! ) and further away from the Sacre Coeur which is why I wanted that location in the first place. There are so many better ways this unfortunate situation could have been remedied but unfortunately I was left quite unhappy.

The staff were super nice. I loved how the attendant cooked the crepes for us in happy hour. The location was close to the train and other shopping areas. I felt safe and in god hands. Would highly recommend.

I'm not sure about the other posts and how can they say this neighborhood is safe. Let me tell you the real truth about this place. The streets are dirty and filled with drunk people, drug addicts and prostitutes (right in front of the hotel). The hotel is not what it seems in the pictures, plus the staff is never in the front desk which made me nervous about the security of the hotel. If you are traveling with your family and small children DO NOT STAY HERE, with this I mean the hotel and the neighborhood. Its not safe.

This place is so great. The people here are so nice and helpful. The staff is familiar with the city and was abled to help my family with directions. The sweet corner or something like that is from like noon to six and they serve the best tasting cookies and macroons ever. Sorry for eating all the cookies and things they were so good. Rooms nice, beds good, amazing staff, and the best tasting cookies after a long day.

To all my American friends: get used to smaller spaces. It's Paris! Everything will be smaller — but give it a day or two and you'll recognize that's all part of the charm of the city of light. The staff here is very professional, and works to meet your needs. The neighborhood has some great spots to get away from typical tourism. I was here for work, and it pained me to leave. I'll be back.

Not best but not worst place in Paris. Prices could be less compared to the location though.

The staff at this hotel were great and all around very friendly and accommodating. We had a room with a twin beds facing the courtyard and I would recommend trying to get that side if possible as Barbes is a Pretty busy road with a lot of foot traffic. The room was not huge by any stretch of the imagination however had enough space to relax in briefly and a comfortable bed.

This is a great hotel, just not the best location. A few streets over and it would be perfect! The staff is so great, the rooms are clean, nice, and the beds are great. There's an elevator and air condition. The bathroom soaps are great, too. I didn't try the breakfast sinc there's a market next door. If you walk towards Clichy, you'll find things to do/see/eat. Be warned: the first thing you'll see is people grilling corn over shopping cart everyday. They won't bother. You. Saturdays are pretty crowded on the street, keep your things close.

So we came here on a long subway ride, hoping we will get a panorama view of Paris but to my disappointment, we didn't. We couldn't even see Eiffel Tower or Arc de Triumphe from the Church. There are a lot of people just hanging around the church and on the lawn nearby. The nearby area is full of souvenir shops and coffee shops so it has turned quite touristy already. You can get off at the Absess Stop and take a short lift to go to the top and just walk down so you are not exhausted from climbing. Another thing to be aware of is there will be locals trying to force a bracelet on you. Do not let them do it because you will have to pay for it.
