Amazing welcome, service and food both at the restaurant and the room service. Not much view from the small rooms but they are beautiful and clear. The hotel is mainly clean and well maintained, the staff makes you feel welcome and well taken care of.

The hotel is placed at an excellent location with very good facilities. The entry hall is very huge and arranged lavishly. There are plenty of good conference rooms at the — 1 floor. You will get all the varieties of rooms here. However the cost is on a very higher side. If u can afford the cost, this will be a good choice for enjoying ur stay in Paris!

Stayed with large noisy group However the staff were amazingly cool and very helpful throughout our 9days stay. Location was well suited for my plans to visit places around. Metro is just a minute away. Walkable distance to Eiffel tower (morning is less crowded) Across is a general store. Great all the way.

Very pleased with the experience! Effortless check in. Dust free and completely clean room. The room was gorgeous, big comfy bed, mirrors everywhere, lots of light, and Uber chic furnishings. The hotel is walking distance to all the touristy areas, loads to do around it and definitely a lot of restaurants to go to.

A luxury hotel at a great price. It may not be central but it’s on top of the Metro line 1 which can get you anywhere you need to go. Really nice staff, and a good exec lounge with outside terrace and views Eiffel Tower, Montmartre etc. Rooms are tiny, but that’s a thing in Paris.

We were there for the jazzy Sunday brunch. The staff is very caring. The ambiance music is nice. On the food side, a very wide choice go from simple vegetables to cooked dishes through crustaceans and desserts!

Jazzy music a bit loud and we are glad to see the band go play further. Classic brunch a little too much in my opinion but of exceptional quality. Well-prepared and well presented products. Drinks too expensive but we make the meal with the fruit juices offered.

Over all very nice. I did not try the breakfast. One of the barkeepers were grumpy, but came along. No room service menu in my room, but it made me go out of my room to eat dinner in Steak House. Very expensive, not much meat and no vegetables. Still, nice and Champs Ellysee is just arond the corner.

By far — the nicest hotel on our Gate 1 tour. Hotel was well appointed and everything worked! Location very convenient to sights and eateries. Would stay here again and again. Best breakfast buffet of the whole trip.

The room had upgraded since I last visited in 2012. Very nice room ambience. However there was no water boiler and air conditioning was not cold in summer dispite turning to the lowest temperature. It is a well known and 5 star hotel and these basic necessities is missing. Is time to do something about it. Service was great and friendly.

Very disappointed with my recent stay at Le Meridien Etoile. Was given a free night for speaking at a medical conference but elected not to use this night but instead pay for the entire stay on my own with points. Was told by the Front Desk that this option was acceptable but am now getting charged for not using this night. This makes absolutely no sense and the hotel is unwilling to work with me. I invite someone from this hotel to reach out to me with an equitable solution for this. I have already wasted enough time trying to get this resolved. Thank you!

This is a very nice hotel. It is well located in a nice area which is good. He's at the gates of Paris. The only downside is that it sits next to very noisy roads. But no noise for the customers. It is one of the largest hotels in room capacity. It offers a beautiful view on the top floor. The service is correct.

If you are visiting Paris for the first time, and if you are afraid for some reason, I definitely recommend you to stay in a place where you feel safe — Le Meridien is one of those destinations in Paris. Good coean rooms. Limited control of the climate control. Large selection of channels on TV. Rooms are clean. Toilets are nice and clean with basic toiletries provided. Gym is pretty standard. Location of hotel is good. Nearby metro with numerous restaurants around the area. Shopping center is just opposite with a small supermarket and M&S foods.

Came for the Jazz brunch, I was satisfied. The place blends luxury and nature with the central patio decorated like a rainforest. However, the Little jazz concert was a little too intermittent, and the brunch lacked a bit of variety as quality compared to our expectations.

One in our. Party ordered the steak for two, although good not up to expectations. Kids hambugers are very good and VERY big. Desert is good.

Impersonal and cold plant, new Deco quite kitsch, no service, no consideration for the customer. We slept there after spending the evening at the hotel jazz Club and didn't wake up in time for the breakfast we had ordered. We refused to make a commercial gesture by not serving coffee and tea at the bar.
The receptionist told my husband in public "since you have the means to offer you a room here, you must have the means to pay for the coffee! " A shame. We will never put our feet in this infamous place where the client is far from King, but is taken for a cash pump. Inhuman, soulless, to flee.

Excellent Hotel. Room of beautiful dimensions for Paris, tastefully decorated and quality materials. Very large choice at breakfast buffet if you headed to the great room. The choice is more reduced and the atmosphere less pleasant (close to the tables) if unfortunately you are directed to the small room. Beautiful fitness room with very large selection of devices with TV screens and Internet connection. Very good Hotel.

A brilliantly central hotel. Nice staff and clean rooms. It has been refurbished in the last couple of years but the quality of the work could have been so much better.

We had dinner a few years ago in the bar area and from the lobby area was reworked with happiness. An important space not necessarily obvious to dress up and make welcoming, which is rather successful for the shot. The staff are smiling, professional and efficient.
Our room was small but nice, spotlessly clean. Only downside, and made strange, the mini bar was totally empty.
We have dinner quickly, again at the bar, the club sandwich is passable and forgettable (a little soft bread and bacon very hard) but the service is good.
A hotel in the end well placed, convenient and standard that one expects but without particular charm.

Chic business hotel. Close to a mall and to restaurants. Easy to move around and by public transport. The room was big enough. The breakfast was great.

Although this is a large hotel, the service and rooms are great. It's a bit of a walk but the room was excellent and the beds one of the best I've slept in im a hotel. Also I believe it was recently renovated so all was new and shiny. Enough restaurant around also to go for a nice dinner.

A really very welcoming hotel, with a huge lobby, with attached jazz club, restaurant, spa, gym, etc. The rooms are small, cozy, the bed comfortable. Breakfast is complete and you can enjoy it from sweet to salty. The staff of the room, the Conciergerie, luggage and the very friendly welcome. A certainty for when you come to Paris. Only flaw: given the size it can be a bit impersonal.

Thebhitel is very centrally located and just a few stops from the city. Amenities such as restaurants and supermarkets are a stone's throw away. The hotel room itself was big and cosy and the staff were friendly. The only downside was that there were no kettles in the room so I had to make do with no hot water for 4 days.

Rooms are nice and clean. Hot water on demand is a great thing in winter. Aircon can maintain a comfortable 21 degree Celsius Only grouse is not Tea or Coffee making kettle or Cups available in the room, especially during winter. Complementary coffee machine has been removed, the coupon for it is useless.

Great room with comfy bed. Location is also convenient opposite a shopping mall and nearby train station and restaurants. Good spread of food for breakfast buffet including eggs station and lots of seating space. Decent Wi-Fi. Lift can be very slow and packed during morning peak period resulting having to miss a few lifts. Overall good hotel.

Especially do not go there for breakfast!
You will be served two mini loaves the same as those you find in the bread basket of lunch as a "toast". And you will be answered "but Monsieur you are at the Meridian Star" distressing…

I like this hotel a lot, perfect location, welcoming staff and of course the legendary jazz club. Some older bedrooms have features that could be updated like the flush that can get stuck at times. But definitely one of the better places in Paris in that price category.

You get what you pay for… Clearly a cut above even the Hyatt next door but at a minimum of €200 per night it doesn't come cheap. Particularly the Coke Zero — for which I paid the princely sum of €8.50 with dinner! The breakfast is one of the best I've had but at €28 per person it ought to be! The standard rooms are small (typically Parisian in that sense) but functional and the bed and shower were top notch. Aside from the eye watering prices my only real gripe was that the main restaurant was closed — supposedly because it was the holiday season (mid-July…).

I went dressed like a shlag to join my parents once. The staff were very courteous and quickly guided me seeing my lost air.
At the Jazz club, the waitress proved to be very efficient, the food was good, and the group at the top. Anyway, I had a good night.

This is a perfectly sufficient hotel, chosen b/c of online deal only. Regular price is more than I would normally pay. Clean, quiet, and fairly posh. Staff speaks English, and were all very helpful. Main reason for 3 stars is the location (near a conference center, so of course it's going to be touristy… this is our fault). The air is Very dry in the hotel, so make sure to head to the Space Market down the street for some large bottles of water, snacks, fruit, and wine… no complimentary water here, and the downstairs cafe and vending machines are pricey. Very close to a metro stop, but it takes awhile to ride into the heart of the city; watch your wallets and phones in the metro. No coffee maker or kettle in the room. But there is a mini fridge. The room was very small. So if you get a room with two beds, they are very close together. Fine for my friend and I, but very close quarters if you are traveling with 4 people. Make sure to visit the Canadian Embassy Pub on the next block! That was the highlight of our stay here. Only picture taken is a view from a window in one of the hallways of the hotel.

Perfect hotel for a short vacation or business trip. Lounge/lobby is decent with lots of seating and a friendly concierge. The rooms are a good size with comfortable beds, modern decor, and clean bathrooms. Location wise, the hotel is very good. It is right next to a train station and across the street from a large mall. Not to mention near the arch de triumph. Overall, a very good hotel to stay at.

Pictures Le Meridien is a huge city hotel with mostly touristic audiences from all over the WORLD. The condition of the rooms is partly very poor, cleanliness is rather small. The prices, even for paris, are Outrageous.

The hotel is very nice, the rooms also. But some details are not up to a 4 star (and the salted price). You lose 10 minutes to climb to the floor despite the 5 lifts (the stairs are only for emergency). The fridge in the room is empty, the vending machines on each floor are very expensive.

Great rooms, great service. The original Le Méridien! If the Eiffel Tower is your thing, this hotel is well situated in the city. If you're wanting to spend time more towards the Louvre or further East in the city, the hotel is a bit far to the West. I've walked most of the city using this property as my home base, but I'm a bit nuts when it comes to walking on vacation. Expect to walk a bunch, spend a bunch on cabs/Uber, or use the subway (there's a station very close) often.

This is actually my second (and third) stay in this hotel. I was staying here a few days, heading off to Barcelona and then back here again. The hotel is actually undergoing renovations at the moment but so far that has been disruptive to my stay or create any unbearable noise level or disturbances. What made this hotel a choice in my books haven't change: the proximity to the Metro on Line 1 (which gets you on almost every major attractions such as Champ-Elysees, Concorde, Louvre and the Notre-Dame, as well as a RER station, getting you to the Eiffel Tower and a few other attractions on the Left Bank. The Arc de Triomphe is a walking distance away, and there's 2 groceries shop just right opposite with plenty of food options nearby. This is a very convenient hotel, not quite in the middle of Paris but easy to get to, making it also rather good value to stay in. Since there's some renovations ongoing I'll also mention what's changed: 1. The rooms: so happen that I manage to stay in a newer renovated room and an older room (but both still new). The newer room, the walk-in shower (which I prefer) has been replaced with a tub/shower combo. I usually prefer a separate shower and bath. 2. The mini bar is empty. Which to me is a good thing. Apparently they are trying a new concept where the mini bar is completely empty for my full use. This is opposed to the previous auto-detect method where you're charge the min anything inside is moved.

I am SPG platinium for more than 8 years and send more than 100 nights / y in starwood hotels. As my weeding was planned on April 2nd, few months ago, I booked with confidence 5 rooms at the Le Meridien Porte Maillot for my guests coming for at my weeding. I took benefit from a previous stay at this hotel on February 8th to cross-check everything was well orchestrated with a so-called "attaché de direction". While checking-in at the hotel on April 1st, I experienced several issues: 1/ I was deny the right to check-in the rooms (off course my credit card was not denied, just having me checking in under my name – as surprising as the reservations were done and paid under my name). The associate invoked security check, which I can understand. 2/ As a consequence of point 1, I then have been informed was not allowed my SPG privileges as I was not staying in the room since he associate on site didn't allow me to check-in under my name. I felt punished because I could have booked other hotels or different starwood hotels and I would not have been trapped in this silly logic. 3/ The hotel was in a total mess as they did heavy renovation work and as a matter of fact it was very noisy, dirty and inconvenient. It was definitively not the right image I expected to project to my wedding guests. 4/ as I complain to the FO manager (a certain L…) this person was quite rude and impolite.

Rooms are small and with old design (i am referring to the 6th floor, the premier floor…! ) Lounge bar food was too expensive, so you should check the Thai and indian restaurants around the corner ;) if you're on to a multicultural exquisite taste.

Hotel guess high class, SPG. But here goes: there is work, and even in a room on the 16th floor, the work awake us from 8 in the morning. The reception does not transmit messages and is not polite with customers. The toilets are not washed completely, there are white marks on the walls. The hair dryer doesn't… In short, a room to more than 200 EUR, service is not the appointment, and it's a shame.

Modern lobby with decent standard hotel breakfast. Free Wi-Fi in the lobby but you can access it on the room for almost a day without disconnecting. However the room had double design, with lower floor has newer one full bathroom compared to higher floor with toilet being on its own room.

An okay hotel without any major issues. Rooms are a bit on the small side but that is what you expect in Paris. You can walk to many of the major touristy areas from the hotel. Staff is nice and speak English well.

Beware of standard deluxe rooms — shabby and tasteless. Mould, paint peeling, dinged walls will make you wonder where their price tag came from. This is not the standard you expect with Le Meridien so please adjust your expectations to "halfway house".

Modern rooms in a streamlined hotel? Was I in a different place than what was advertised? No free internet unless you come to a crowded lobby for the slow free internet. If you were lucky enough and got a room on 1st floor near the lobby then you could mooch from the comfort of your own room the incredibly slow free internet service. Correct me if I am wrong its 2015, let’s have some internet people. Room fridge and safe out of service, one of the lights in bathroom burnt out, area around tub and sink warped and discolored, weird contraption as a shower door that closed half of tub off but unless you only ran water at half pressure then water went everywhere (creating the above warped and discolored area around sink/tub), seams in the wallpaper peeling, dust on door sills, picture in frame falling, remote caked in something like it was taken to dinner or used as a utensil during room service, door frame splitting and aging, etc etc etc. The only good: concierge desk very friendly, and breakfast buffet extensive. Whomever operates is taking every cent they make and padding their pocket because there is no upkeep in the room I was in. Of 4 hotels I stayed in while traveling in Europe, this was tied for worst.

Worst experience ever in a 4 stars hotel. The room was good. The receptionist was perfect. But the team at the bar was so aggressive and unpleasant. I have been insulted by one of the barman, just because he was in a hurry. As usual, the Parisian waiters are so unpleasant. I was choked. His boss told me that this guy was stressed because the bar was busy! Amazing.

It’s not the best you can get from Paris but it isn’t bad. Clean rooms (a little bit tiny but nice), friendly staff (which guided me and helped me the map) … the location isn’t very good but I still have pleasant feelings about the hotel at all.

Small outdated rooms. Wi-Fi not free. The service itself was acceptable — concierge, umbrellas, maps etc. Decent room service This hotel is not a four star hotel. Though solid 3.5. If you are traveling alone, you can definitely get it if the price is good. It's also probably not better than the Hyatt across the street.

Hotel location excellent, but quite expensive. The room they gave me was very good. Very wide, very comfortable bed, minibar, TV and everything very clean. Also in the bathroom had all kinds of hygiene products. The buffet breakfast is varied and they replenished the food continuously. If they reduce the price a little I would put 5 stars.

THE GOOD: Stylish and thoughtfully designed, this hotel whispers Parisian chic without being loud and pretentious. Free passes to museums and a complimentary coffee at the lobby bistro are nice gestures. The location is optimal if you use public transit like me. The Air France Les Cars shuttle service picks up/drops off right across the street and Metro line M1 is half a block away. THE BAD: I was able to use the free pass to Palais de Toyko with no issue but the jazz club seemed non-too-pleased to welcome guests using free coffee passes — — seating us at less desirable tables even though there were plenty of window seats with better views. Checkin/checkout wait time needs improving and the queue setup for SPG gold/platinum is confusing. ELITE-SPECIFIC: SPG members may be surprised to find the SPG floor is actually the 2nd floor. Noise and light pollution from the street can be overwhelming. If you are a light sleeper, ask to be assigned a higher floor or a room that faces the courtyard. THE BOTTOM LINE: I would stay here again. Review by @brianlinca.

Room 6003 where I stayed for 3 nights is well maintained and comfortable. Save that the passage appeared aged. No provision for tea as in most English hotels. Although the front office staffers acted as true professionals, more professionalism is expected at the restaurant. Above all, hotel management should adopt measures to enhance the outlook of the hotel if it's to take advantage of locational factor.

Utter disappointment. It will be a Le Meridien but it is definitely not up to the brand. The room was old and ' not spotless '. They took my pajamas that I left on the bed. Also the concierge sold US tickets to the low season Versailles when we are in high season. So we had to buy more money. Only positive note is the fact of being on the Metro. I recommend it especially for the value for money.
