Nice quiet hotel in a lively area. Clean and spacious rooms. A window in the bathroom and a kettle with tea. The only point that bothered me is to have to leave the key to the reception on leaving and on return one can ask any room number no control, security question is not top. Nice staff I recommend.

The hotel is very well located near an avenue, Metro and really 10 minutes from the Arc de Triomphe and the Champs Elysee and well. Communicated with collective locomotion. The staff is friendly.
The hotel is small and the rooms are small but cosy it is not uncomfortable the décor is not modern but not annoying. The breakfast we took as a supplement was not very varied but if it was well catered for, perhaps it is worth buying for breakfast nearby as there are several bakery bakeries supermarket etc are literal steps away. It's next to a small market where they sell everything. Very nice neighborhood. I would definitely return.

Hotel is located in a good location. Rooms very small but you are only to sleep in the room. Jean-Francois's service at the reception is great! Very nice young gentleman! Small market and sweet bistros around the corner.

Very good central location (about 5-7 min. Until Arc de Triumphs). Nearby is a small market and cosy bakeries where you can also have breakfast. But you can also get good, enough breakfast in the hotel for 10 euros p. P. Zimmer was clean. We would like to highlight the friendly and helpful staff.

We came to several colleagues. Smell of sewer in some rooms. The air conditioning is broken so impossibility to put heating. Cold room. Nice hotel but service to the Parisian: Pay and Depaint you.

Friendly staff, hotel decor and rooms are aging, rooms are on the small size. Close proximity to landmark buildings.

Amazing hotel with really good rooms and nice and helpful staff. The only downside was that the Wi-Fi on the hughest floor didn't work amazing hotel!

Not very big but clean and new rooms, breakfast was good and I definitely recommend it.

I'm amending my review from 4 to 5 stars. All the complaints about the rooms being small are far from justified. This is very common in large cities in Europe and is not very accurate. They rooms feature wardrobes, desks, showers and/or tubs, and plenty of storage. If you are coming here to stay in your room the whole time, I think you've come for the wrong reasons.

This was a lovely little hotel in a perfect location. We stayed here for 4 days in early July, our first visit to Paris. It's on a little side street with an open air market at the end of the block, the fresh bread, cheese, produce, and pastries is a treat to walk through every time we went anywhere. Its the quickest way to get to restaurants, cafes, the metro and transit (Charles de Gaulle station and the direct bus to the airport make getting around easy) and the Arc de Triomphe is about a 5 minute walk
from the hotel. The Champs Elysee is a quick walk as well, and the neighbourhood is lively but not noisy at night with cafes open late and people sitting out enjoying the air and delicious food!
The hotel is small and feels very cosy. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms are small by Canadian standards but spotlessly clean and comfortable. The big windows swing open and makes it feel very Parisien!
We had the breakfast included in our rate, and it was delicious! Fresh coffee and juice, fruit salad, yogurt, cheese, sliced meats, and fresh baguettes and croissants in a little breakfast room get you off to a great start every morning. The baking is done on site, the night desk person helps get that started every night.
The area feels very safe, as does the hotel. The front door is locked every night, the bell rings when you step up to the door and you get let in then.

Absolutely not recommended! The shower doesn't have a door and the showerhead doesn't stay up. The water will spill all over the bathroom and as well as to the room. You can see that the bathroom door is bubbling up. This will cause mold to grow and it's definitely bad for your health. We complained issue to the front desk but they didn't care.

1 — small rooms. 2 — I booked a double room and had a single. 3 — I asked for an iron and they don't have. 4 — the breakfast was poor. 5 — very bad experience.

Very nice hotel, located 10 minutes walk from the center of Paris …

I stayed 5 days at Hotel Niel. The location is good, close to metro and sights. The rooms are in a good standard, newly renovated, but small. The breakfast is above average. There is free Wi-Fi at the hotel and a computer in the lobby. Conclusion: Hotel Niel is a good place to sleep, but does not offer any activities or facilities during the day.
