Bertha Hotel

Average hotel, cheap, old, but in a very good location. Close to metro stop, with nice bakery and bars outside. Had some bed bugs bites.

Breakfast very decent for €5 room OK, housekeeping lacks a bit of depth, good bedding.

Before I came, I had read the comments on the cleanliness of the hotel. I spend the first night and I can assure you that this is a clean hotel. A warm welcome. Nice staff. My room with bathroom is spotless clean rating, remains that I am in 5th and no elevator. But for now it's a pleasure to be there.

Hello. Before my arrival, I was afraid to read the comments on cleanliness. I assure you a clean hotel, a welcoming and nice staff. Over the course of my stay, I will post my discoveries.

Apart from the bedding which is good the rest is to be revisited: the lack of professionalism is certain. The bathrooms are very small (perfect for liliputiens)

Poor room shower very small smell of tobacco at last I did not find any good things to say about this hotel I am really disappointed. The hotel business is a trade and not an improvisation.

Fair hotel with basic equipment, good for budget travellers.

Room in a state at the limit of the acceptable and very bad noise insulation. The price is attractive but to go there just for a night or two, otherwise pass path.

Bertha was an average hotel. It was modest (but then, so was the price). The room was clean, and so was the bathroom. However, the Wi-Fi was bad (and had to be paid extra for! ) and the water in the shower stopped working for a few hours. The staff was nice but knew little English. The hotel's neighborhood was excellent: full of places to eat and close to the metro.

Convenient location, near Metropolitan, historical place (Clichy), shops. Cheap. But inconvenient bed and very inconsistent bathroom.

Very poor quality hotel, 5 floor without elevator, spiral staircase, TV not working, limited staff.

Very good reception, very nice staff. The rooms are of good qualities. Nothing to complain about! Pleasant breakfast. You feel at home! I would return to this hotel! Thank You Bertha!

One receptionist couldn't speak ANY English.

Avoid absolutely.

Want to miserable breakfast with industrial bread that will remind you of your years college?

The room is so small that you have to walk by the bed, the TV is not working. We can't open the window because of work. & a bed that scratch the back + home is a service of total mierda! I suggest we not only Hotel Bertha. I regret to have pay 55 euros for this room of shit while he is even not assencer or or anything! Actually this hotel don't merit even not dune star!

Beds were two singles stacked together. There was also a bedbug infestation that we did not discover until the last night. I e-mailed the hotel and have yet to hear from them.
