Very disappointed in this hotel. My family and I checked in for a single night for a twin bed room. We arrived at the hotel late in the afternoon and checked in. Then, when we went up to the room we saw that the bed was a single king sized bed. I felt the middle of the bed and realised that it actually was two twin beds combined into one bed. Our family went back down to the reception to fix the problem, and there was very little effort to help us at all. They had asked us to wait at the lobby for 30-40 minutes while they fixed the bed to make it back into a twin bed. We decided to just go out for some dinner while they fixed the room. When we came back, and went up to our room, the beds were fixed and everything was fine. Until my Father realised there was no remote control for the A/C. After going out and eating in the hot weather we were really looking forward to cooling down in the room, but it seemed that we were going to have to chat with the staff once again. My Father and I went down to the reception and informed them of this problem, and the staff didn't seem surprised at all. All they offered us was a fan. We declined the fan and told them specifically that we wanted the A/C turned on. We told them that we needed a remote control and that's it. Surprisingly, they told us that they didn't have any more remote controls and the rooms that did have remote controls were the rooms in the top 3 floors and they were all occupied.

Actually quite a good location as it happened. The bar itself wasn't great but the staff were very helpful and great company. We were introduced to a drink that I wasn't aware of before visiting… Saint Germain elderflower liqueur. Delicious. Yes. Perhaps the rooms could have been cleaner but overall I think it provides very good value for a major city location. I'm looking forward to returning later in the year.

Location was nice. Staff were not helpful and intrusive. AC was broken during our 2 day trip, thank goodness we only had to endure 1 night. There were feeble attempts to “fix” the AC, but we all knew that was just to try and satisfy our complaints. No real effort was made to repair the AC, just a floor fan for consolation. Definitely would not stay here again or recommend this hotel.

Room smelling the hallway cigarette smelling bathroom cigarette smelling also. If you want to sleep in a smoker I advise you. But personal to your listening.

This place is in need of an update. It has new owners who are scheduled to start renovations in June. However, the staff was great about trying to help with anything they could, and they all worked together to make us as comfortable as possible. Great location, easy access to the Metro, and totally walkable to many areas of Paris.

A little far from the touristy places, but great place to stay to sample cafes, boulangereries, bars and other restaurants, where locals hang out.

Very dirty hotel. The carpet is extremely dirty. The staff don't seem to care much. 4th floor is full of cigarette smoke. We had to cancel our booking.

Staff very helpful, polite. Nice and spacious room. The hotel is located in a parallel street, little crossing greatly limiting the traffic noise which is very low for a city like Paris. Breakfast at the top, continually refuelled by staff at your disposal. The breakfast room is still a little small. We recommend for a stay in the capital.

The hotel has parking. 19 Euros per night.

Stayed on the 12th to 16th April 2018. Reception staff who is a lady and African was very rude and hostile. I arrived early with my family from Africa and had to wait for about 4hrs before the room could be ready despite my early request for early check in (no problem about this though). Breakfast is o. K. The bed not so comfortable for me as I am pregnant. Bathroom is poorly designed such that water flows out however careful you are. Family room is quite small. Cigarette smell all over the walkway of fourth floor where I stayed although room is smoke free. Cleanliness is just o. K. Accessibility to train station is quite a distance for me about 10mins walk. Some other hotel staff we later met afterwards were quite nice and helpful though. We requested for dinner at 10pm one of the days and were told it will take one hour while the staff suggested we go to nearby restaurant. Overall it is an average experience.

Message posted on behalf of a loved one: on February 21st, 2018, I made a reservation (via our travel agency) for the night of March 27th to 28th 2018 at the Hotel Holiday Inn Paris Montparnasse Rue Gager Gabillot in Paris; reservation confirmed on 21/02 by the hotel. For information, I am an employee of the Airbus company and this reservation concerned a travel carried out professionally.
I present myself at the hotel on March 27th at around 20:00 and I discover that my reservation was cancelled on the pretext that my Visa card was invalid, neither the travel agency nor myself have been warned!
I ask them to find me a solution either in their establishment or in another Parisian hotel. In parallel, I contact our travel agency and after more than 2h30 of telephone exchanges and various attempts to find a rental, I find myself without accommodation. All hotels, rentals via Airbnb, hostels in Paris and the Parisian suburbs are complete, the only solution I am offered is a room at 3000 euros.
It is more than 23:00, I am still at the Holiday Inn and having no family or friends in Paris, I start to "crack" and at that time, the hotel proposes to set me a camp bed in a meeting room. The sales manager tells me that I will be offered a room the next morning in order to be able to use the bathroom from the check out of a client.

OK for a stay in Paris. Good reception. Very clean and spacious room.

Dismal Service; No heating, no light in the rooms; No commercial gesture, and rude.
Value for money alarming, to avoid!

Probably one of the worst Holiday Inns I've ever been to. Dirty, smelly, sordid. Nice staff at the bar, though.

A big disappointment, rooms dark and dreary, bathroom stinking of sewage and all they could do was refund a measly €20. Could not give us another room as were overbooked. Had to 'Chase ' them in the morning otherwise they would hv not contacted us. Slow at check in and check out. Very far from all tourist spots. Will not go there again. Terrible customer service, had to take complaint to head office.

Best case to recognize that even a reasonably new hotel lacks of quality in many details.

Very comfortable and clean. It is well located, because you can get to the Eiffel Tower in 30 minutes on foot. Has two nearby metro stations.

Rooms large clean modern well located the centre the only thing the price of the breakfast which I thought was a lot,!

Good structure… Easy connections with Metro to 700 meters…

Simple and full breakfast, very close to downtown, but far enough to be quiet.
Good customer service.
Some small flaw in the rooms but great value for money.
Iron and board for wrinkle detractors is beautiful in garment.

With a colleague we had 2 rooms at the same price but totally different!
Mine a suite, him a hallway. Go figure it out! I do not know the conditions to have 4 stars but hey I do not dream.

Comfortable hotel, looked after all our requests. Great location.

We stayed in large spacious family room which is very rare to have several cushions the only thing I would say the shower room is worn old. The breakfast was very good.

At the height of the chain. Hotel 4 * has a very good price. The rooms are spacious and well equipped. I was even fortunate to have a small balcony. Service in room impeccable. Price of the correct drinks. To advise.

The hotel is very clean and very nice room, with views to the tower and a good price I recommend it a lot and with views of the eiffel tower.

Reality nice hotel. The staff is very friendly. Close from a couple of metro stations. Really liked this place.

Neat, clean, nice room with just enough space and even a balcony, beautiful bathroom and a separate wc, nice breakfast, professional service and hospitality, good location. Particularly as a traveler on business — what more could you wish for?

I'll start with the good. Convenient location, polite staff on the reception, large room, bed, table, fridge, TV, clean towels. There is soap, shampoos. From the good of everything. The hotel is clean. After taking the shower, on the other side of the wall, where the room was leaking water through the carpet… The shower itself hung very low, designed for children or lilliputs, apparently. Two cockroaches. Terrible! At night, someone was biting, waking up with red traces on the body, which were terribly itchy. I suspect that it is bed bugs… I do not recommend this hotel.

Both of our rooms were good, clean and well sized. Ryan the desk manager is great. He speaks perfect English and was so helpful. Even the neighbors of the area were fantastic to speak with. We would definitely stay here again.

Very poor. Room ACs are not working and the staff are rude and not ready to do anything about it, making silly excuses. Not recommended. Had to spend the time using table fan.

Room was of good size, queen bed and double pull out sofa bed easily managed 2 adults and 2 children. Room service was exquisite. Location was very good, not far from Orly Airport and justhe a 5 minute taxi to the Eiffel tower.

I made a reservation for 2 nights at this hotel on 21 and 22 March 2017. On the first night, a huge leak ruined my hotel room. A heating-related pipeline broke down and gallons of water poured into my room. This incident is not the fault of the hotel. They had to deal with this problem at 1:30 a. M. They tried to find me another room as they were full but not possible. So I slept on an extra bed in the management office from 5:30 am to 9am… I mean, what an adventure.
I would not have written this message because this fact is not their fault, but on the 22nd in the morning, the manager told me that I will be compensated for this event and that the hotel would reimburse me both nights.
My manager replaced me the second night and the hotel completely changed speeches and offered to repay only the first night.
Frankly, it's really very dishonest of them. This manager, with a big smile and an apology, confirms to me that they will reimburse me both nights and in fact, he is back on the machine.
This is not an honest and respectful behavior of the crappy night spent at home!
This hotel is so scratched off my list!

Minimum Service, dubious cleanliness of carpets, chipped bathtub, mouldy gasket…
Short very far from a 4 star worthy of this name and very bad value for money.
And I'll pass you the emergency stairs filled with laundry carts, vacuum cleaners and other cleaning materials. Avoid being in the event of a fire!

Not worthy of the Holiday Inn brand. Vetusta and inadequate structure for a 4 star.

Short explanation: we left because it was not adequate. Long explanation: This hotel is okay. I say that very loosely. I would not be staying there unless I was on a budget and needed something cheap. They had a plastic chair in the room. Also they didn't give us hand soap which I do not believe is a repeat issue. Additionally they were not accessible for my brother who is wheelchair bound. We booked the rooms well in advance and made sure we asked for two conjoined or adjacent rooms. What did we get? Two bedrooms at completely different sides of the floor. It was very upsetting. The concierge was useless. Well… there was no concierge as the receptionist played both rolls. She did not have the touristic knowledge of the city we were looking for. Our family was looking for a lower end hotel that we could still recieve the world class service that Paris deserves. We did not recieve and left after 2 hours staying at it. I hope this helps someone decide whether or not to go.

Average standard, price a little too high for the offered quality.

There is nothing like Holiday Inn brands hotel. Just like any regular small hotel with no or zero luxury at all. Room is very small, located in some residents area. No pool, no bar, no gym, no spa, nothing which you expect in Holiday Inn hotels. I was very much disappointed after booking the hotel. No worth for money, no facility at all. Bathroom are very normal type. Nothing special.

Horrible. Dirty, crumbling, smelly, expensive.

5 nights, the room was clean and relatively large, a pretty bathroom. The buffet in the morning at the top. The snack restaurant is a little slow but very good. However the noise is still present. Work 18 hrs, the lift down. A full day. For a 4 star ca seems unthinkable. Too bad ca deserved a 5 without these small inconvenience.

Worst Holiday Inn I have stayed at. The bad = Dirty. Stains on carpets. Tile shower — grout has mildew. Show head pressure terrible. They do not have washcloths. And Plug ins locations terrible for wife's curling iron, had to do in a chair. The Good = Front staff nice. Breakfast Ok. Location is decent.

The stay was very good. Always friendly staff. The bad thing is that Wi-Fi in the rooms is charged. The location is perfect.

No free Wi-Fi in the rooms, asked me a taxi which had already been the marker since it left its base, top expensive. Not very good experience.

My experience here was horrible. I had to bugs in my room, tub would fill up with water upto ankle while taking shower and air conditioning made noise at night. When I reached out to the manager about my concerns he was rude and sarcastic. He told me I have sensitive ears and I should have just turned down the air conditioning if the noise was too loud. Really? How about fixing the issue. I shouldn't have to turn down the air conditioning to lessen the noise. As for the bugs, I was told by the manager that it's summer time so seeing bugs in the rooms are common. Wow! Now I'm supposed to be ok with bugs in my room. Just unacceptable response and rude. I would not recommned this hotel to anyone.

Good base for exploring Paris on several days. Otherwise, there is no reason to spend time in the hotel.
