I came to Paris for a short business trip and stayed at Villa Royale Montsouris. The transportation to the hotel is extremely easy, as it is very near to the Cite Universitaire metro station, through which you can take the RER B to either Orly, Charles de Gaulle or Gare du Nord. It is not really in the center of the town, however it is not that far either.   The room I stayed in was very cosy. The moment I entered, I fell in love with the decoration. I would say it was a bit dark, but I thought it added a romantic flare to the place. The room was extremely clean, and was cleaned everyday. The towels and toiletries were quality and refreshed daily. The heating system was working properly and the bed was very comfortable. It was very quiet despite being on a main road. Finally, personnel was very friendly and warm.

Very well located hotel in quiet neighborhood near the metro line 4. Good welcome except that of people who serve the very incorrect breakfast.

Super clean hotel. The rooms are a little small but well-appointed. Oriental décor leaves us with the impression of travelling abroad. The only problem: the dimly lit basement breakfast room and the execrable room staff. The maids are friendly and the front desk too.

Nice budget hotel located close to Orly airport, although the decor might not suit everybody, this is a good budget option.

Of course we landed an attic room which was not only small, but could have used some maintenance (especially the walls). What I liked: the oriental decor was quite nice, close to metro (2 m walk), A/C, good Wi-Fi and clean room and bathroom. Some visitors complained about the Wi-Fi, I faced issues connecting too, but once I did it worked well (if it won't connect try to cear cache, otherwise ask the reception for help). There's also a smartphone in every room with free internet and calls you can use even outside the hotel (you can even make calls for free, with some exceptions outside certain EU countries), still. Nice. If you decide to book this place I'd recommend to adk for anything but tge 4th floor which is the attic.

Extremely small rooms but they have a closet and small desk and chair in the corner. Bathroom had a stale smell which literally gets into the room as well. No tea coffee maker in the room but you can go to the lobby and have a cuppa. Room has no view and the window opens into someone's backyard. Bed is comfortable though.

Room size is small but the decor is great. The Wi-Fi is a little slow but does the job.

The rooms for one person are very small. I have little space to move! The shower was small and bizarre; It needed that I stand up in a specific position to avoid putting water on the ground everywhere. The mini-bar drinks are €3, 50 for water and €4 for a Coke, so the way for the restaurants (too expensive, in my opinion…) It's much better to walk to the Express nearby and buy a Coke for €1, 25. I paid €80, 25 for this room for one night! I'm not going to stay there again.

Really nice place. Decent breakfast. Pleasant stuff. Clean rooms, although a bit small. With a room you got your own cell phone to use arround while you stay. Very handy if you're not EU resident.

This is the worst hotel stay ever. Rooms are non-smoking but they stink. Just found out from the staff tht some guest smoked in there room. Looks like the hotel was ok with it. Wifi doesn't work. It stays on for 2 mins and then needs to be reconnected. I booked this hotel thru BJs travel service and they booked 2 rooms for my family of 4. As one room can only accommodate just 2 ppl. Wordt part is BJs customer service never informed me abt booking 2 separate rooms. Never booking thru BJs travel service again. Last this hotel is far from center of the city so u waste time and money to go to center. Booking this hotel is not worth it. Be aware of deals on this hotel this hotel is always on deal as it is horrible and far from city.

Very easy to get to from Gare Du Nord! Just get on the RER B and get off at cité universitaire and it's a 10 min walk through the university neighbourhood, you can also cut through the park. Another 5-10 min walk is Lidl, a small grocery store where you can get fresh fruits, bakery goods (baguettes cost €0.60) and beverages. There is also a tram line right outside the station that runs frequently and if you got a Paris visite pass for a day you can use it for all 3 metro services.

A haven of peace, an oasis near the Montsouris Park. We stayed here from July 13th to 14th, Room 303. We were surprised by these 3 stars, it's worth much more than that compared to other hotel in the capital. The reception is very friendly, the staff very available, and it feels good because it comes from the heart. The room is beautiful, air conditioned just what it takes. The bedding is really at the top, we slept like babies, no noise. The scenery is beautiful, atypical in the middle of Paris. Montsouris Park is a 2-minute walk away. We didn't have breakfast from the hotel as there was a big sun and that said Sun said Terrace! ;) so it will be for next time without hesitation. We will end this opinion by: if it rains in Paris it is in this hotel where the sun stays!

The staff were very helpful and the breakfast was very nice. The nearby metro and in a few minutes you arrive in the center.

Stayed 15th December 2016 for 2 nights. Hotel was excellent and the staff were very friendly. Room was lovely and made a nice change to have a bath to soak away all the walking we had done. Ideal location close to local services and Le Metro number 4. Would certainly come back and plan to. Highly recommend. Hope you enjoy your stay as much as we did. Many thanks, Glyn.

I love the Arab theme rooms. Also you feel very welcomed here, the staff is great with good English " if you struggle to speak french", also you are in a great location, next to two train stations that directly take you to the famous landmarks of Paris. Note: I wasn't provided with a toothbrush or toothpaste, so make sure you bring your own. Other then that I really recommend this hotel.

Nice and special Hotel in its arabesque style. Little Caramel (as I believe in most Paris hotels of its level) but very clean. Also the small bathroom but with bathtub. Quiet and nice area, 5 minutes from Metro 4 and tram. The metro area is more lively with restaurants, supermarkets etc.
In addition, a smartphone dapotersi carry around Paris with the possibility of making unlimited calls in France, Italy, Germany Spain, England, USA and Hong Kong and with 4g connection. Very comfortable and totally free.
Free Wifi and reception is h24hr.
Possibility to leave baggage after check-out for free
I recommend it for the particularity, cleanliness and quiet of the area. Unique fact that they could give a refreshment to walls and furniture to make a jump of quality.

We spent a pleasant stay in this hotel. (4 nights) For us it was ideally located (metro and campus ready). The decoration of the room is very nice, a flat, the bathroom is a bit small.
The breakfast was very good.

Small but for the price good.

The Arabian nights theme of the hotel is very interesting. The rooms are small, named for oriental spices etc in addition to the usual numbers. Like a jewel box, the rooms are alive with color and decor but I found it very difficult to read in the lighting there. Very accommodating staff, the breakfast could be tight (small room, sometimes inadequately provisioned and staffed for later arrivals, who may find food and settings scarce). Also although there was a minibar, there was no cup or glass in the room into which to pour water or the drinks; no way to wash down the nighttime pills.
