It is a pretty nice place for solo travelers in Paris. The neighborhood is really safe, basically surrounded by locals, not many tourists. The owners of this hostel are Koreans, so they offer traditional Korean breakfast, which is a big plus for those of you who like Asian food. The hostel overall is pretty nice. I only have one thing to complain, which is they only have one lock at the gate, so there is no lock for individual rooms nor lockers.

Although I only stayed at Paranjib Guesthouse for one night, its unique charm quickly set in upon being asked to remove my shoes while entering. The check-in process was quick and easy and the location is fantastic considering its proximity to the metro stations Plaisance and Pernety. While it would have been nice to have access to a locker of some sort to safeguard my belongings in the 8-person dorm room I slept in, the overall ambiance of the place reassured me that my belongings would be safe while away. Before leaving the next morning, I enjoyed a tasty and authentic Korean breakfast prepared fresh by the host.
