Terrible service are racist people and treat you horrible.

Never come back to this hotel again! The worst service of my life more racist! They don't give you what they offer, no air conditioning and no breakfast was offered. Also, the front desk guy is very rude to the customer! 😡😡0 stars.

Bad customer service! The employee working at the front desk was very rude and he is a hater and xenophobic he never tried to speak English? Very rude! He asked men? where I was from!? Why? I am Costa Rican American a USA citizen! How dare him? Please USA citizen don’t visit this hotel! Bad service!

Racist hotel, receptionist and manager are rude and if you don't speak french they refuse to communicate with you in any other language when you want them to solve your complains. Hotel racista, la recepcionista y el manager son groseros y si no hablas francés, se niegan a comunicarse contigo en otro idioma cuando quieres que resuelvan tus quejas.

A fraud, scammers and lousy customer service, damage the image of a big city.

I don't recommend because they treat Latinos very badly.

This is a terribly bad place. They don’t provide what they promise to costumers. They are rude liars and at the end of the day, this awful place is a big fraud. Stay away from the Clairefontaine.

Staff are xenophobic and rude. The hotel lies on Airb & b, they promise things that they later deny.

A total shame is a crap of service, bad staff rats and roaches everywhere.

We had planned to spend 3 days in Paris. However, due to the coronavirus emergency we asked to cancel the reservation in advance or at least to keep the money and let us come another time. The hotel decided to fully charge the payment fee, showing no understanding of our motivation. An incorrect behavior. We don’t recommend this place and the people. They also replied in French to our emails written in English.

There is a lot of things that is wrong with this hotel — and I am sure my experience was the worst, but in general: it is a bad hotel choice! Maybe the worst part of this is that there were cockroaches all over the breakfast table the first morning. I complained and wanted to get my money back for the breakfast, but they did not let me. Horrible customer service. Then, the walls are so thin you hear everything from everyone. And there is no Air-condition. So the first night I spent being awake all night almost — I had about 28 degrees in my room. And when complaining saying I would like to check out early because I needed to be in good condition for work, they did not let me. There was no ironing board or iron and even though I asked (honestly) 3 times per day, they did not manage to get me one. So I spent three days tired, hungry and with a wrinkly shirt. Actually this was one of my worst hotel experiences ever. I would really advice against this hotel!

Good little boutique hotel. Outdoor courtyard to access the rooms. It was cold. Small shower and bathroom. Guys at the front desk were great. Even remembered me a few days later.

Nice décoration, but the hotel looks kinda old and has seen better days. The breakfast is late (7am on a weekday, nothing before). Way to expensive and overrated for what it is.

Not recommended. The rooms are very musty and small. The bathroom forms moulds at various places. The photos from the net do not match what you find.

The room is very bad. The neighbors and their televisions were very well heard! The shower this morning was clogged and the cover of the decorative pillow completely disjointed.

I love this place that reminds me of my childhood. I've lived this number the my grandparents was manager of this hotel in the forties there was a courtyard and housing in the background.

Hotel very well located, close to the Metro, the station displacement on foot, pleasant area, quiet at night, correct breakfast, room with beds very comfortable.

It's very centric, many different metro connections are nearby, a great nightlife street for dinner and drinks right around the corner, really great. It has had better days, but still in a comfortable condition. Staff is really nice and helpful. It's kid friendly too!

The hotel is clean and ujjal friendly. The hotel has been renovated which gives a little more cheerfulness to the rooms but the finishes are not perfect. The rooms overlook a patio which is quite atypical. On the other hand this patio echoes every sound. So, with the comings and goings of the guests and the preparation of breakfast, we go to bed late and we get up early.

Very low value for money, room was super stinky (sewage), linen quality is horrible and carpet is very dirty. No elevator. Not recommended at all.

The hotel and rooms are good. The staff is very friendly and helpful, just a shame that the shower wasn't great.

Very nice small hotel, well located and easy to reach via the Metro. The Montparnasse train station is also close by. Many restaurants and pubs nearby, as well as shops. The neighborhood is quiet. We stayed for two nights at this hotel. The beds were comfortable, and the room was of a good size. Breakfast Buffet very decent.

Stay 7 nights from 7 to Nov. 13.2015. Location, clean and staff friendly. Close to lively quarters I recommend.

Very clean hotel! Perfect!

Not at all like the description of the site. Mold in the room, stain on the carpet, the wall crumbles, housekeeping leaves something to be desired. Not slept all night because we have to give a room just to the dimension of a scaffold that has to move throughout the night plus the start of work at 8am. This is not worthy of a michelin-starred.

Pay close attention to this Hotel
From the moment you book, you can no longer cancel without having to pay the total price of the room. Even if you book two months in advance, if your meeting or your reason for travel is cancelled, you will pay the price of the first night. If the cancellation occurs at least two days before, your stay will be charged. The scam!
My experience: I booked 5 weeks before my business trip. 4 or 5 days after my booking, my meeting has been cancelled. I immediately cancelled the hotel but hot summer night on the field and management Refuses totally to a gesture of goodwill. Something to think about. Jp.

Home to the top — tidy, clean and comfortable room — breakfast — I recommend +++.

No Wi-Fi in the third floor! Bad service! Never comeback to this boutiqe! They are liars! They promise us in the first night that they will switch our room to onther one and in the morning they didnt change the room! The manger gave us bad solutions and told us you can go, and you will not get your money back!

Well located, good attention. The only thing that did not come Wi-Fi to the third floor and the lack of air conditioning / fan. Otherwise recommended.

-I stayed three nights from April 10, 2013, to April 13, 2013 at the hotel Clairefontaine Street Fermat, the first two nights on a professional basis, and the third for private.
-Arriving April 10 later, I found that the inner ramp of stairs (that must borrow because there is no elevator) is loose and not fixed same location.
-I found also like the previous user that the soundproofing was very bad but the tenants became aware of this defect and have been very silent.
-Booking had been made (by booking for the first night) and then by telephone for the next two nights so very friendly, the location of the host is very convenient between Montparnasse and Denfert, two floors of the hotel are a very nice very nice patio when it comes to beautiful, the room I occupied the third was very clean and very spacious the bed was very good. The hotel was redone two years ago seems to me and I had already spotted him (in case 2 hotels where I stay usually considerably cheaper, are taken) as the Fermat Street is very quiet.
-My shower was leaking and created an unpleasant noise. One of the users of the hotel told me (helping me to try to make a cup of coffee) the temperature of the water in his shower was impossible adjustable.
-11-the morning I had to have my breakfast at 7:00. Bread, coffee and croissants have been available only at 7:18.
-12-evening on the way home I saw that my room had not been made.

Quality excellent price. Friendliness, service and excellent staff.
We will definitely repeat.
