Great location — metro either 2 or 5 mins away. Room was fine. Plenty of bars and restaurants nearby and markets on weekend at the end of the road. Size is ok for long weekend stay and didnt hear other guests. Breakfast continental with plenty to choose from. All staff very friendly.

OK, mini bar loud and bathroom heating HS. Toilet separate from the bathroom. Many closet, a little too much. No espresso coffee for breakfast, too bad. Good room anyway.

Worst hotel experience, rude staff and poor service/information re Paris sights. Extractor fan not working in bathroom but nothing done by hotel manager, who was quite rude. Would not recommend, even to my enemy! Do not stay here if you want to have pleasant stay. Only thing is good is location.

Great Staff Lascenceur is very small. The rooms are antiquated but very clean. This hotel deserves just a big Renov otherwise everything is fine. Small breakfast.

Ideal location (theatres, restaurants), reception and quality service. There are renovated rooms and the other… A bit noisy (closing doors? ).

Rooms are quite ok in terms of space, but quite simple. I staid in a double one. The AC didn't work, no matter how hard a swiched on/of the thermostate, so I had to rely on the radiator, but it didn't warm that much the room. Bathroom could be a little bit cleaner. For breakfast I didn't find any piece of meat, egg or at least a "croissant". I had a bad coffee, some dried fruits, a compot and some cheese (could't say I went to breakfast late — it was 07:45 AM)

Central, clean and acceptable.

A very well located hotel with good value for money. Soundproofing could be improved. The bathroom is fine.

Rooms are small, which is to be expected when traveling in Europe. Staff is very friendly and attentive. Breakfast every morning is reliable and pretty good, though bready. Location is excellent, within a block of Edgar Quinet (6) and Vavin (4) Metro stops, and a five minute walk from Gare Montparnasse. Lots of cafes and bars within walking distance.

Perfect location for tourists, restaurants pubs metro…

Nice size room and location.

Bed is comfortable, service is great and it's located very close to a metro station. My only complaint is that our air-conditioning is not working, but there is a good breeze when you open the windows.

Fantastic little hotel, near metro stations, in Montparnasse district. Worth paying the little extra for the superior rooms. Great location, quiet but in a happening area. Great family run place with good service. UPDATE: staying here again now, 18 months later, and it's just as good.

My review is purely based on check-in/check-out process since we arrived pretty late on Friday and left the next morning. The hotel is gorgeous and so close to the metro stop and other shops. I felt like we got a steal on the price too. Even though we checked in very late, the concierge had no issues and was super accommodating. The room was very clean with decent space. Bathroom was on the smaller side but again, very clean and modern.
