Nice close to all metro shops in Chinatown, you can walk from Gare de Lyon to hotel.

I slept that one night it was very clean and we were very well received but I froze all night to take a shower not comfortable the cold.

The reception was more than bad! Could not get information about the prepayment system made on booking, which I did not understand. You had to pay at the front desk, point bar! And when I ask for a bill, it is not up to standard and does not tell me how much I have paid for the receipt. The words of the receptionist are more, provocative and disrespectful. Finally being a single woman, I felt humiliated. The smell of cigarette in the room is in addition very marked and amplifies during the night, which does not fix anything. To avoid!

I know this is 1-star hotel so I didn't expect much from this place. But with Very bad customer service, room is very old. Our room has a problem with the heater and the average temperature at this time in Paris is around 0 degree Celsius. The staffs and management refused to fix the heater or offered any solution about it. Instead just left us to deal with the cold. This is not a small issue. You can get sick from the freezing temperature! I wish I could give this place 0 star Beware of this place!

This is a budget hotel and very appropriate for business visitors and also very near to metro station.

Cheap but charming hotel in Tolbiac, Paris. Recommended. Close to subway, cosy backyard + friendly cat. Wonderful wiev from the front-side room, some traffic-noise though.

Let me start by saying I love this place. And not because it is a luxurious 5 star hotel. If you love unique or historical this is a great location.

I have been several times in this hotel for 3 years. The team that is responsible for
the reception is nice. The rooms and the bathrooms are always clean.
the area is lively, many shops nearby, exotic signs.
all I want is that it keeps its identity, well away from the hotels without a soul.
the metro and the centre of Paris are nearby.
I go back every time with confidence.

Actually I was not sure if I was in a cage of cats or a hotel
just 2 showers even in 5 floors, 2 toilets, dirty, no heat

The stuff was very friendly and the receptionists spoke very fluent English. I stayed on the 4th floor, the room was spacious and cozy. There is no elevator so walking up the narrow and winding staircase was a bore. The bathroom doors did not lock and that was a concern. However, I stayed in 3 other hotels/hostels in France and Hotel Tobiac had the best services all round. The locality is also a plus as you only have to walk 5 minutes to the nearest Metro train that can take you where ever you want to go. If you are able bodied, can walk up stairs and want a cheap but comfortable place, this is the place to go.

Clean, friendly staff, has a solid, locking door. Did I miss anything? Totally fine for the price. Bring earplugs as the noise from the street and nearby rooms is pretty disruptive.

Hotel do not remember if you want to sleep! Indeed although the windows seem to recent they have only a single glazed and as this hotel overlooks a crossroads with traffic lights lights Hello atmosphere. In more e it is not specified on the site of the hotel the rooms are above a bar restaurant with terrace animated until 2 o'clock in the morning! As for the rooms if they own it are very small, and also the "restoration" room or breakfast is not especially hearty. In addition hospitality is of the coldest and the non-existent smiles. Ultimately nothing giving to advise this hotel, sorry!

We were staying at this hotel for 1 week in September 2009. The hotel is newly renovated, very clean, the rooms are very cozy and quite spacious (we had a double with bathroom), with simple furniture but comfortable (especially the bed). For its atmosphere and decor (walls in vibrant colors, child's drawings) is a hotel very family friendly. Put extra beds for children. The staff is very friendly, speak Spanish and English, and with the guests who are striving to practice your French are very understanding and patient. The hotel is in the area with many asian restaurants, very good and cheap. There are also close to the Franprix supermarket and in the street of Italy (about 10 minutes on foot) there is a shopping centre with hypermarket Carrefour. The location of the hotel is excellent: a few steps from the metro Tolbiac (line 7), is also very close to metro Olympiades (line 10). It is true that on the side of the hotel there is a crossing busy, but thanks to the new windows, the traffic is not heard in the rooms. Perhaps the only downside is the bath towels are tiny. In total, it is a excellent hotel for those travelling to Paris with the tight budget or do not want to spend much on accommodation. If we return to Paris, we will repeat.
