Hotel located near races de Lyon then both station and metro' very comfortable. Very nice staff prepared and helpful, rooms with very clean bathroom, free Wifi, good and hearty buffet breakfast. Recommended!

Good situated. Don't expect too much from the room. Breakfast was fine. Beds also.

The Location Very good Attention. Bad Wifi. The bathroom was uncomfortable. There is No electric kettle but they give you hot water. Low-quality and poor hygiene Items.

The Main bonus is the proximity to the train station. Very convenient if You are in Paris passing through and arrive/depart from Gare De Lyon. The Hotel is quite old, but the rooms by Parisian standards are large and bright. There are many small shops, a pharmacy Nearby.

Clean and comfortable, two minutes from Lyon train station. Only flaw, but usual in these buildings: sound comfort. A pair of earplugs will help you if you are sensitive to noise like me. Not tested breakfast, but good value for money considering its location. I'll be back.

I had a room not too big, but clean and quiet despite it overlooking the street. I would recommend this hotel:)

Surprisingly large room. Very easy walk to Gare de Lyon. Very clean with all the basic amenities you need.

Very comfortable, friendly staff, very convenient by its proximity to the Gare de Lyon. On the other hand the lighting and decoration of the room is quite sketchy compared to the photos (maybe they are not all equivalent). Rather positive opinion for one night.

Affordable and well located. On the other hand, we were disappointed to have a room that Santad super loud smoke, while we are non smoking. Sensitive refrain.

I stayed at the Lyon bastille for 2 nights with my boyfriend. The room was nice, the staff very friendly and the location superb (really 2 minutes from the station). We'll come back!

Very small room for the family. Kind staff. Great location, next to the station (try to use only buses, even if they not very popular, they can take you everywhere and without any problem).

To 5 min of the gare de Lyon. Custom home. Excellent service. Quiet in the rooms giving on the court.

Spacious room but if you are on the street side, you will not sleep. The windows are old and necessarily simple glazing. Too much noise…

It is the real Paris. Close to gate de lyon.

The hotel staff is pleasant. The room however and the side of the street, it is noisy and I have had two separate beds so that there is space to put a big bed! I was disappointed, I slept in a small bed for the three nights, where I stayed. The breakfast is adequate. It is missing, just fresh fruit. The hotel is not far from the gare de Lyon train station and restaurants. The room price is expensive for a single person, to see it again?!

This hotel is rated as 3 stars, but it does not worth them. The rooms are smelling, they provide you with a pice a cheap soap and a towel. That's it do not ask for any extra soap or shampoo. The staff is rude and unpleasant.

Room was great and they spoke good English. They helped with directions for a good cafe and the laundry mat right around the corner. We did not have breakfast their.

Friendly hotel with beautiful, spacious rooms. Conveniently located next to Gare de Lyon with great transport links into the city.

My wife & I stayed at the Hotel Lyon Bastille for 1 week in July. We returned after we had enjoyed 10 days there in 2011. The staff are wonderful, the room is clean & well appointed for 3 star, and breakfast is available onsite if want it. The facilities work well. AC, fridge, free wireless etc. The hotel is close to the Gare de Lyon. Metro / RER / Train station. The neighbourhood has several attractions and is close to The Bastille & The Seine. With the fantastic public transport in Paris, any other location is just a ride or two away. There are neighbourhood facilities. Cafes, boulangeries, corner shops, supermarket, ATMs. The wonderful restaurant. A la Biche au Bois is just around the corner, and well worth booking. We hope to return to Paris in the future, and the Hotel Lyon Bastille will be where we will happily stay.

No complaints staff very friendly room was silent, I will return on my next trip.

The hotel is outdated. Interior is from the 70's. Small hallways, walls need paint. Beds are clean and the Wi-Fi is fast. Personell is friendly. Breakfast is a bit poor. Pictures of the rooms on internet do not meet real life.

Hôtel miteux. Vieux, sale et mal equipé. Tres Bruyant Simple vitrage à côté de boulevard de la gare de Lyon. À éviter à tous prix.

It was not horrible, but I wouldn't stay there again, nor particularly recommend it to friends. The location is convenient for Gare du Lyon, but nothing else. The rooms were adequate but noisy — — our 'double' was two twins pushed together and the only shower was a hand-unit in the very tiny bath. The room had been redecorated with what looked like new furniture, but no drawer space. Breakfast is a very basic continental style buffet — at e. 10 per person!. Service is so-so in the hotel, although Reception is very friendly. More to the point, the cleaning in the common parts was slap-dash and the lift broke down at least once whilst we were there.
