The only good thing I have to say about this place is that the staff were friendly. Apart from that, the rooms are so small barely enough space to move around. Didn't get one nights good sleep due to the loud neighborhood. Thin walls means you can hear everything from other rooms so you can't sleep. The last night it was so bad to sleep because there were some guys right outside that were either drunk and/or crazy. They were so loud and it even felt scary at once. Also the doors made a loud banging sound which was so annoying! If people are coming in and out at night you won't be able to sleep. Don't recommend!

Nice hotel with good location near metro and restaurants. Attentive and helpful staff. We really like Crystelle who help us a lot with sightseeing, directions, taxi, etc. She is a very nice and friendly person. It was a pleasure to contact with her.

Nice hotel. Rooms are deceivingly small compared to the angle the pictures were taken at, but as long as you're okay with that it is great. Nice local area as well; great food.

Hotel International is a lovely hotel. The Lady who worked the front desk during the week days was so helpful with all of our inquiries. I would have given it a 5 star but the internet was to weak which is my only complaint. There is reno's taking place across the tiny street which is kind of an eye sore but when that is completed the street will look much better.

The Hotel is very good. Located in the Rue Barbier which is a very discreet cut off street. Clean rooms and good service. It is close to the Republic Square and multiple Metro stations.

The cozy room is very small. Two people will have an interesting time if you both have large, checked baggage. I found it acceptable as a solo traveller with only one carry-on suitcase and a backpack. The only problem with the two Paris hotels I've stayed at is very poor noise isolation. I could hear the man in the room next to me having a conversation at 2AM, along with crying children in other rooms. The doors are also quite squeaky and close to each other, so sometimes it sounds like someone is trying to enter your room when they're just trying to get into their own — this could be slighly unsettling. That said, the rooms are modern and clean, and you are pretty close to a lot of affordable restaurants. The staff were always friendly and helpful to me, so I would definitely recommend this place. The noise is the only issue, but I sleep with earplugs anyway so I recommend you do the same (and the noise issue is not unique to this hotel).

Rooms very comfortable but somewhat fair in size, the hotel Wi-Fi could be improved as at some points it does not arrive well.

Excellent clean hotel and very good service we were a few months ago, excellent breakfast and just a few blocks from Metro and bus stops.

Friendliest staff, krystal and the other staff were wonderful, nicest people in Paris. They held my luggage for free for over a week while I travelled Europe and it was safe when I arrived for my stay here. Rooms are clean and comfortable, close to public transport, highly recommended others come and stay here if you're coming to Paris.

I booked last minute so I found a great rate, the hotel is in a side street so quite and only 3 minutes walk to Goncourt metro station. I had an upgrade, room is lovely with all you need. Clean, organized well and with a nice view of the roofs around since I'm on the top floor. Hélène at the front desk was especially nice and helpful!

Friendly welcome 24 hours a day. Location in a very quiet alley near the metro. You can also walk easily into the centre.

Very expensive for the night, the rooms and really small I would look better next time avoided!

Excellent value for money, spacious rooms and very nice with a modern decor. Perfect cleanliness, heating and excellent hot water. Modern bathroom, spacious and clean! Very friendly and helpful staff! Next to the subway. I highly recommend!

Well located close to two metro stops, friendly staff and rooms in perfect condition of cleanliness and conservation.

We booked a room for a night and couldn't make it due to extremely stormy weather (hurricane "burglind"). The staff was very friendly and we could postpone our stay without any additional costs. This is service at its best! Many thanks again. Great hotel!

Good, clean room. A bit noisy. No shampoo was present in the rooms, there was shower gel though. Breakfast was okay but nothing amazing. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Beautiful family run hotel. Delicious breakfast which allowed us to eat as much as we liked. Everything was fresh and it was a gorgeous spread. The mini bar was all free and our host so helpful as to the best way to see the sights. My friend and I had a large suite with a decked area outside. The location is perfect and within easy reach of the many attractions Paris has to offer. The weekend was a gift from our bosses and we were a party of fourteen. We all felt the same about our stay. It was excellent. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

I'm officially a fan of this cute boutique hotel. First time to Paris and this hotel really contributed to the overall great time in the city. I feel like the hotel is a little off the beaten path — but in a good way! It's in a nice neighborhood with a ton of local bakeries, shops, markets, cafes. I only wish I had more time to explore. The Paris sights are a few miles away, walkable if you have the time or easy to get to on metro or uber. Room is small but enough for two and decorated with fun patterns and colors. I think Americans expect more space in hotel rooms, but typically European rooms are on the small side. Also the staff is great. Everyone was super helpful and very nice — especially considering that Parisians are not always the most friendly to tourists. I will definitely stay here again in the future!

Awesome area of town and cozy comfy beds and showers! I didn't know ahead of time that shuttle and continental breakfast weren't included, but it was a wonderful stay nonetheless.

Great hotel close to the metro and the Place de la République. We had a nice room with a very comfortable bed and bathroom. But the room was not isolated as supposed to.

The reception was perfect and benevolent. The room completely correct without any worries and with quality bedding.
I regret just a breakfast room a little cramped but I will return lord of the next stays in Paris.

The Hotel was very friendly and the room was very good. A 3min walk from a metro station and 8min from the Place de la République.

Nice hotel and rooms with friendly staff. Cute decorations! Only drawbacks were a small room and you couls hear EVERYTHING from the hallways in room 60. Not exactly peaceful, but we were more focused on touring Paris!

The hotel was clean and in a good location near Gare de Ést. The room was very basic, but worth the very inexpensive rate.

This is a wonderful hotel with excellent price-quality ratio. I do not sit, so chose only to sleep at night. Location very good, 7 minutes to the Republic square, from which depart the big streets in all directions. The Louvre go 30 min, to Sacre Coeur min 30-40, to the Père Lachaise Cemetery in Paris reached the mines 20-25. Nearby big shop ", where you can buy products. To Metro Goncord 3 minutes.
About the hotel: nice and friendly staff, especially remembered the girl on reception (sorry don't remember the name), who always smiled and helped if she asked something. Room cleaned every day. For 10 days the bed changed times 3 accurately. If it turned out so that at the time we were cleaning the room, the maid could be ask to just change the towels (changed every day) and pick up trash. A nice bonus is the free Wi-Fi access, you had to just take your login and password at the reception, which was 3 days. Through the 3 days it was necessary to take a new one. The Internet really fast and catches in all rooms, and not only at the bottom on the ground floor, as is often the case.
The room is not very big, but overall the place lacked, in Europe there are also smaller. Clean linens, clean new towels, normal! tv, which quite really dry even long hair.
The only minus is the only 1 socket, first charged phones one by one, until we saw that in the bathroom too.

The hotel has a good location close to Metro and the main centre. The hotel is good for a short break on a budget. The rooms were small but comfortable. Cleanliness and helpfulness of staff was very good. Some small points: a shower curtain would be good in and hooks on the bathroom doors. I was generally very happy with my choice. Merci beaucoup.

Very good location, just two minutes from the metro and 10 minutes walking from the Plaza de la Republica. Nice people at reception. Area with all the necessary services. Had no fridge in the room. Few outlets. Old, but enough to spend the night in Paris.

Highly recommended! Reasonable price, well located (close to the square of the Republic and with a metro station close by), nice and clean. Reception very friendly and always available. The rooms and bathrooms are small but clean and have the essential to rest after a long day visiting the city.

The staff is very attentive and friendly (don't speak Spanish), but the rooms themselves were too small and very light materials. The bathroom was too close to the bed, the location is good (near metro station).

Actually the hotel is quiet, although the rooms are small, and at the reception there are often young people who also speak Italian. Unfortunately the experience was horrible: as soon as we arrived there was a misunderstanding about the terms of payment (the hotel policy is to immediately withdraw half of the sum from the card when booking over the internet and to ask for the full payment just Arrived, no chance of waiting even the next morning to check room, operation of the Internet — which for us in those days was essential — etc. ). The guy at the front desk was very kind, but on the other side of the phone the manager didn't even want to talk to us ending up telling the guy at the front desk to send me away without room and without our money (we should have come back the next Monday to talk again With her). When finally she was convinced that we could not go away at 11 p. M. Without room etc and that we would wait for the police, she granted us, makes no insistence on our part, to settle the total bill and to take possession of the room. 2 days later I disappeared a black dress from the room. It's a bad experience I've never done anywhere else in the world. You would expect that after this the hotel managers were sorry and at least formally made sure to do what they could to find him, right?

The rooms are really small and equipped with old furniture. This is not to bad in general, but some of the beds are that old, that they squeak with every move. The other key factor is, that your stay really depends on your neighbours. If they like to talk or move in bed (with the squeaking bed) you will not have a good night. The rooms next to each other are really badly soundproof. The location is really close to subway stations and in a quite street. Don´t take the room 2 next to the breakfast room since early in the morning you will hear all guests pass. Internet is really cheap (2 EUR per stay) but you will not have connection in your room and it is quite slow. There is a central safe, also quite cheap. The breakfast is ok. At the end: You get what you pay. The prices are decent for Paris. (stayed there 4 days in April 2010).
