I had a room pretty much under the roof. So small that you could hardly move indoors. Everything in furnishing sits and worn out. Wash basin clogged. Shower terribly dirty. Separate toilet anno 1800. So deeply attached, suitable for toddlers. The room just as big as the toilet bowl. Doors are so leaky that you can look out through the cracks. The only window in the room offers a view of the completely dirty courtyard through which the kitchen scents rise. I don't know what the other rooms are like. But mine was a tap into the toilet. A star just because you can't forgive 0.

Small 1 person room. Bathroom was a little 'too optimized'. But you only have too sleep there. It was clean and quiet.

We really liked this hotel. They staff were super helpful. Our hotel was on a quiet street. This hotel is very close to the metro and walkable from Gare du Nord. It was a convenient location to get around to see the sites. The staff speak English so if your french was rusty it's a good place to stay. The hotel had our room ready early which was a huge bonus as we were exhausted from the plane ride. We will definitely return here.

Located in the Centre of Paris It is clean and has an Elevator. The Breakfast was very good. The Staff are friendly. It's already a bit old and the Rooms would have to be renovated. It is ideal for City Breaks.

Very disappointed! We had to wait 20 minutes for the time he found us on the register… the rooms not top at all especially for the price, it we install in a room while it was already occupied… end for the price it's not top at all! Very very disappointed.

The hotel is attractive from the outside and inside. Our room was clean and well maintained. The staff is friendly and speaks several languages (at least English). Breakfast is a hotel standard, but there were no boiled eggs, only scrambled eggs.
Due to other reviews, we took earplugs with us as it's very noisy in the streets at night when the window is open. Every night, drunk and greezing people paraded the streets with loud music. Through earplugs, however, you didn't hear this so loud, so that you quickly fell asleep again. All in all, a good value for money that we can recommend.

We really enjoyed out stay at the hotel. The staff was helpfull and always in a good mood. They even offered us some refreshments because we had to wait for a few minutes before checking in. The rooms were tidy and comfortable with big beds and a bathtub — no electric kettle though. The next metro station, a convenience store and all sorts of caffees and restaurants (and even a starbucks) are only minutes away. Since the hotel is in a side street the rooms are mostly quiet — its still a big city with lots of motorcycles though so it can get a bit loud at times especially when you are sleeping with an open window. We will definitely stay at this hotel again.

I stayed for seven nights in this hotel. The room almost never got cleaned and one day my trash, which was overflowing, was not emptied. In fact the trash can was placed in the middle of the entrance way as if to show me the cleaning person refused to deal with it. I also had to ask more than once to be given towels when I had clearly placed the used ones on the bathroom floor to signify my need. The room's air conditioning was also not working well. I ended up have my flight canceled so I needed an extra night, but opted to go to a nearby hotel since I found this one unsatisfactory. I go to Paris often and am familiar with how hotels in France and Paris are. This was very disappointing.

Nice hotel with good breakfast in a convenient location and not far from the Metro. Recommend. The sights can be reached on foot or several metro stations.

The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was great Room to modernize near the Metro stop and in good position to visit the city.

Bad layout. To avoid!

Run-down room, old furniture, no knob no key in wardrobe. Safe not working, had to get assistance twice but it was faulty. Bathroom needs refurbishment. Unsafe heater switches. No shower hook, makes it uncomfortable to take a basic shower. Made even worse with never having hot water supply In the shower. Room temperature decided by hotel, no way to adjust it. Uncomfortable mattress and uncomfortable pillows.

Beautiful hotel — great stay! The room was large, clean, and had everything we needed. Bed was soft and comfy. Great, helpful staff. Breakfast was delicious and high quality — lots of choices and great breakfast staff keeping everything stocked and tables clean. Great location as well, very close to the Bonne Nouvelle metro station. Only negative was that the A/C unit didn't work — we had to crack a window to keep our room cool at night. But that is a minor issue — everything was best possible quality for the cheap price paid! Highly recommend for all travelers, especially coming from United States.

Very good place. For the time of year we stayed the heating was exaggerated. But very good service, at the reception speak Spanish and excellent predisposition.

The room was spacious, the bathroom also good bedding everything was clean the full breakfast room very well soundproof no street noise at night the situation in Paris is ideal we discovered a neighborhood as we like them with Shops and life, not to mention the boulevard with plenty of places to have a drink, see a show etc… A great value for money.

I was fortunate to get the room you see in those pictures so the balcony was awesome! There were pigeons flying around in the morning and it was a very large Room and bathroom. However it was down the street from a club and the building itself is slightly dated and you can tell. Staff was nice and it sufficed for being so near a main street in Paris.

Hotel well located. Have a nice breakfast. Rooms spacious but sometimes noisy. It is better to ask for rooms on the courtyard or in the back.

I stay there regularly, reservations are made via a power station, so I take what is available
the entrance hall is large, bright and sublime with its marble floor which contrasts very very strongly with the rest.
The elevator doesn't work very well
the rooms are small, dark, poorly decorated and above all they lack modernity, the toilets are in the same kind
As for breakfasts, I regret that in PARIS in France, a country renowned for its bread and pastries we are served frozen. Yes mini pastries are frozen
but unfortunately this is true in all hotels in the capital.

Nice place to visit Paris and not too far from the North station. Easy to access. Nice Staff Breakfast more than okay! Best value for money in the sector. Ideal for business.

The check in it was very easy, the room was nice and clean (just same noisy coming from AC) on Monday morning we went for breakfast in the restaurant where all the tables was dirty from previous guests! I ask the waitress to clear up buth he told me another people’s are more important then you … it was very disappointed for us.! Please don’t make the difference…

The quality of breakfast food is generally poor and it has to be improved because it does not match a three star hotel. However, the room is spacious and comfortable. I will love it more if there is a kettle provided.

Very good Flojitos with the soap you leave one alone, which is mini you finish bathing and you have a host.

Nice hotel with room for more. Staff were helpful and room was clean and comfy. Tips for improvement : Hallways smell of smoke, muffiness and need air fresheners. Windows are not airtight so that it's always a little cold. Maybe some window kit would be a good idea. We stuffed blankets by the windows so it wouldn't be so drafty. I received a flower bouquet which my husband sent from Berlin due to our anniversary which we couldn't spend together and the reception did not leave a message or note or anything when it was delivered so that it sat in the back of the reception and I didn't receive it till the day I left. My son asked several times even late in the evening if it had arrived. All in all we had a nice stay even though the last part was annoying for me as I would've liked to have enjoyed the flowers a day longer. But mistakes happen. But thank you for a good stay and should we visit Paris again we will consider staying there again.

Well located hotel for tourism and shows. Bedding OK, large room and bathroom (old-fashioned sanitary), you can not heat the radiators at any time, there are schedules so ns have sometimes been cold. Breakfast Nice building and friendly staff.

Great hotel, especially considering the price. Everything was in order: TV, Toilet, Shower and the beds were in good condition. Only thing missing here was a Mini-fridge to store some groceries, wine and such. There is also a safe to store valuable belongings. Wifi working great, no issues. Staff was very friendly and helpful, especially the manager. Option to store your luggage in the luggage room downstairs, also on check-out date. We wanted to get breakfast in the city, so no review of that, but there's an interesting little cafe just to the right of the entrance with quirky-looking sandwiches. Delicious.

Nice lobby, decent breakfast included all smoke no roast… smelly little room and poor cleaning.

There should be an option to give minus stars for the aervice. We booked two rooms one for kids and other for us. We were on arrival informed their computer was down could not book us in. Made to wait for 40 minutes. Then we were given rooms in two different floor. Even when we explained we have a 10 year old we should be either next to each other or at least on the same floor we were informed they couldn't do anything. When went into rooms both rooms were freezing cold. Heaters did not work. When raised they repaired one room but couldn't repair aecond room. No alternative was offered. In the morning we were promised change of rooms. However they quickly changed their mind and said they could not change the room instead offered a fan heater as an alternative. No customer service at all. I am asking expedia for a full refund and they have been talking to the hotel but even they are not having much luck.

We had a very good. Very good. Maybe only sour note the bathroom a bit to redo but clean thanks.

Great location. We visited the main attractions on foot away about half an hour walk from the hotel.
Staff very friendly and great the solution with the continental breakfast included.
I recommend it for those who want the maximum comfort at the lowest price.

Cozy. Spacious rooms with own bathroom very clean. Great variety in buffet-style breakfast. Very nice service and cheap price on low season dates.

Very good value for money, good facilities, excellent location and service, clean, small room and very good breakfast.

Reception was quite helpful, and the room was very comfortable. One event however made me very uncomfortable: when I went to breakfast the second morning, I was 'greeted' by a man (younger, dark-haired, stout) who demanded my room number three times; I replied twice in English and then a third time in French. Having ignored or otherwise failed to understand my first two answers, this man then proceeded to correct my French pronunciation, very loudly and *in English*. It was profoundly rude and unwelcoming, and his volume meant that I could not fail to hear him repeating this exercise with a number of others. I struggle to see that saying 'cinq cent et un' rather than 'cinq cent un' rendered my response completely incomprehensible. It is perhaps fair to say that in a hotel that caters to clients of a number of nationalities, this one wait-staff's insolence and incivility toward non-French speakers reflects very badly on the establishment more broadly.

A good hotel. Independent air conditioning. Rooms with Poggiolo. Very good breakfast. Very nice. Staff also Italian. Good cleaning. A little out of the center. Few directions.

Expensive for what it is. Rather a little 2 stars than 3! I was there for a business seminar that had paid very dearly. Breakfast really not terrible with pastries not good and little choice, service unpleasant. In this hotel you are charged supplements for the smallest thing; Plus we had all our coffees served in plastic cups (! ) with just the saucer underneath and when we make the remark, instead of just apologizing, we take a "Hey ho we didn't serve you today! " aggressive. Coffee breaks in general pretty lame with machines very slow and working poorly: one is several to have abandoned saw the tail to make a tea! They served our morning snack at 8am and not at 9am as planned, without putting sign, so another group ate everything before our arrival — of course not really apologies from the staff. Several complaints from my colleagues about service and attitude. Slow Wifi. In short if you are looking for a place to organize your seminar, go your way! It is very well located but the service is bad and too expensive in view of the benefit. I attend and organize a lot of seminars, and I recognize very easily that there may be worries etc, and am very understanding when I have sympathetic people in front. But there, whether at the reception or at the restaurant etc, the bad service and the unpleasant attitude is systemic. Damage.

Comfortable and in the middle of everything. Subway within walking distance, restaurants and market at your fingertips. Breakfast.

Everything was great. The room was surprisingly spacious for Europe and super comfortable. Location was excellent, which is most important. The breakfast was also really good and fresh. Would absolutely stay again.

Aside from one staff member who was really rude and shouldn't be allowed to interact with other human beings, the hotel was pretty great. The room was spacious and quiet; breakfast was beyond amazing; and most recepcionists were friendly and helpful. It's also a couple of blocks away from the tube, which is always appreciated.

My experience was awesome, pros for to you guys. But if you want to improve to excellence, I can tell you where to improve. First, the bathroom doesn't have curtain where you can stop the water from falling to the floor. Second, this could be the most dangerous of all, the floor in the bathroom doesn't have something to step in. After taking a shower the floor has water which mean, slippery when wet, you can easily break your neck if you fell. And all of this is more work for the lady that do room services. That's the only things that I saw where improvement can be done. But overall my experience was wonderful, I expect to come again very soon in the future, Thank you for everything!

Me and my son we loved the service received in this hotel, we had a room with a nice view, ideally clean, breakfast was lovely and fresh, majority of staff were kind and creating a welcoming atmosphere, in addition easy access to city by metro or even by walk. Merci beaucoup :)!

Hotel located a few steps from the station good news, very nice staff and breakfast rather good!

In the restaurant business there is a saying — great service can save a bad meal but not the other way. The bathroom was poorly designed. There was no curtain or barrier to the shower, thus the water falls to the floor and issue is there is no drain for the water to leave. After numerous requests for a room change or to speak to a manager nothing was done. On the third day of our five night stay, when speaking to the attendants at reception about the issue one picked up the phone and asked a technician to go to our room. When I followed up after returning to the hotel I was advised no technician was available, the call was made so I would leave them alone. On another note, Wi-Fi connection was so poor they shouldn't even advertise that they offer it.

Booked more than a month ago but arrived at the hotel I was informed that I was actually staying at another hotel within 10 minutes of walking? Apparently AC problem but as I heard the receptionist say just before the hotel was full… That sounds like overbooking. Pity I had booked live on the site of the hotel, it will teach me. In short a call from the hotel 24h before would have been appreciated.

The AC was a little weak but once on full blast it eventually caught up. Main criticism is that there were no available electrical outlets. Shockingly, not one single outlet in the bathroom at all. I had to unplug the TV to charge camera battery and my wife had to unplug the living room light to charge her phone. Fortunately my shaver and toothbrush had an adequate charge. The hotel really needs to put a power strip in the room for devices. Also no computer available for printing out my boarding pass for flight. The lady at the front desk allowed me to use the one behind the front desk. She was nice and polite, but a little shocked. Customers kept asking me for help, and I laughed and said I don't work here, to looks of "Then why are you at the front desk? " The shower was a real challenge but we eventually out smarted it.

Full Breakfast: Shock bread, croissant, coffee, cereals, fruit, yogurt/fruit, fruit juice, milk, jam, butter, gingerbread…
The carpet in the restaurant is to be reviewed by Cons (Roses…) and the mirrors on all the walls can be a little scary.
The reception staff a little dry and not very smiling but did the job.
Short of the 3 stars in Paris.

3 nights past, very disappointed! 3 days without the room being made, for cause: The housekeeping is only from 4pm. 00 when we go back to the room! Second negative point, we arrive at 12:00.00 in order to receive our room, and although not possible, the room will only be available from 3pm. 00! 3rd negative point, surprised to discover that the room is composed of 2 beds! For a couple who come to make a getaway in Paris, very unfortunate! Moreover the hotel is in very bad condition, the ceilings, as well as light fixture (halogen spots) fall into pieces, very old-fashioned bathroom, floor carpet from all over the room! The only good thing: the location, ideal for discovering Paris, and the breakfast served in the hotel restaurant very hearty! The staff not very smiling, at the reception! Here!

Heater always on and impossible to switch off (maybe Broken knob). Communicated to reception but the problem did not fix me at all indeed, they also took us around. There was a hot asphyxiating in our microscopic room.

We booked one of the three nights we spent in Paris. Immediately after checking out the hotel of the first two nights we went to the hotel before check-in time with the hope of being able to accommodate us before but it was not possible. The Hotel was full but at least they kept our suitcases while we were away. The area is well served by the means and if you like to walk you can reach part of the attractions on foot (for example for the Louvre or the centre Pompidou it takes half an hour). There are bistros and a Carrefour for the water that you know how much it costs in the centers. Returned for the recommended time we sit, the room is clean, quite large and greeted us a hot infernal (radiators). We went away and on our way back it was even worse. We asked the front desk for an intervention to get her off and they went up to the room to ' turn the crank ' but the situation was not varied… They could say it was centralized since during the night we threw it all out for the heat! The breakfast takes place in the plan — 1 where the restaurant is, really a nice room. Basic Breakfast with savory (cold cuts, breads, cheeses) and sweet croissants and chocolate schiacciatine. Hot drinks come out from a push-button unit… And know that for them the cappuccino is made with barley coffee. Might as well take hot milk and dissolve the Nescafe that always provide them. Breakfast was included in the price is we paid on site only the tourist tax.

All right. Nice hotel. Excellent bed and accommodation in general, but there is no fridge in the room, essential if you're in Paris at the end of July. Nice breakfast, but nothing… Recommended.

We got the last room after walking down the street from a terrible hotel! Totally worth the money! You can't beat it! Great location! Amazing bed too!

Home no cold, Room 210 dust on the ceiling of the bathroom grime and maid to order because we don't have stay there 3 nights from 19 to 22 may 2016 he had to ask that we just change the towel and guess what:? 16:30 in the afternoon 3 stars nothing deserves not to mention noise and insulation.
I do not recommend this hotel.

Check out the Art Deco bar at the back after the lobby. I great quiet place perfect to dine or just have a drink. Feel the experience of what it may have been like 100 years ago! A must if you are an Art Nouveau/Art Deco fan.

It was a hotel that I liked and would recommend, good location and good rooms, with a balcony, recommended.

Everything is ok. But there is no standard room with fridge.

Very good location, spacious room, Spanish I spent a week and only one spoke and evil. Cleaning lousy, interest for helping none. I recommend it for the neighborhood and the surrounding areas.

Very good value for money however the single rooms are small.

We spent a week in this hotel, the rooms are fine, clean and tidy. The beds are quite comfortable. Missing plugs, as there are that use that are connected to the tvs. The bathrooms are a bit old but they are clean. In general good hotel.

Not really a three-star quality hotel, but in a decent location (especially if you're coming from Gare du Nord, Gare de l'Est or Gare Saint-Lazare) and convenient to the Metro and Blvd Montmartre. Breakfast was decent although the room was falling apart a little bit.
