I fell in love with this wee hotel the moment I saw it online. In person, my heart was theirs forever. Kind, lovely staff. Experimental kitchen. Included breakfast in bed if you need. It’s a cool place, it has air conditioning, and it’s vibe is laid back. Stay here, tip the staff, take your cafe to the canal and watch the boats. Enjoy.

The bar is a place very nice with quality products to eat and drink! In addition the team is adorable.

Cute and clean enough… tend to be edited in the details… the breakfast simple but all very good. Beautiful location, to immediately see the canal, but a Bit far from everything else.

We stayed at Le Citizen for a week. It felt like home. We woke up to amazing breakfasts, had a drink at the end of the day to rest and enjoyed meeeting the staff who felt very much like friends by the end of out visit. Laure attended to every detail with a smile on her face and her breath of fresh air attitude. Sophie the owner, walked over and introduced herself to us on Day 1 as we were sipping on a glass of wine. She is larger than life. The hotel sits directly across from the canal and is in a perfect location. I miss is already and will definitely return. We were a couple + 1 adult and our room was set up so efficiently that we felt spacious room. It is a combo of urban and chic. One day when we return to Paris, we will stay at Le Citizen. I know that.

I stayed at Le Citizen Hotel in April 2017. The location is perfect, right on the canal, and walking distance to the Le Marais district for great shopping. I rated 5 stars because not only was my room and stay great, but I received wonderful service. The front desk arranged a taxi to the airport, and did me a huge favor to arrange to ship one of my large bags home. Laure and Ilyas at the reception went above and beyond after my bank cards were declined to try again and again until I was able to provide a working payment. They were patient, respectful, and did not make me feel bad for taking so much of their time. Thank you Le Citizen Hotel, I hope to come back and enjoy a stay here again one day soon.

I had an amazing stay at Le Citizen Hotel on my 1st day in Paris. This boutique hotel surprised me with an amazing view to the St. Martin Canal and a super modern room. Loved how cozy it felt to be there though. I also loved their amazing breakfast and the fact that everything was made right there.
They have a nice Japanese restaurant downstairs next to the lobby and its amazing as well.
I will definitely come back to stay at this amazing place!

I live in the district and sometimes go to the hotel's resraurant. Relaxing atmosphere, nice view and tasty meals, it is a really nice place.

They have a small entrance. Before I get into it. Really not much anticipation. Once I get inside, they got a small and boutique lovely lounge. During the check in, i ate a Croissant and some of the bread and snacks, it was my first taste of an authentic Croissant. Hot and Fresh. They still provide fresh juice. I could say this is the best service i had ever meet. U will not miss a 'you're welcome' from them by any 'Thank you' which came out from your mouth. Very polite, and they really serve us well. Friendly and lovely staff. Nice view from the hotel, I took a clear glance of the canal and the transform bridge from my room's window.

This place is amazing! It's situated with a good view of the canal from every room and the staff are the absolute best. Many restaurants within walking distance and a Metro station just a few minutes away. Highly recommended!

Rooms are super cute. Located near wonderful cafes and within easy walking distance of the Seine. Delicious breakfast. Owner is friendly and speaks English well.

Just awesome! I used it as part of a professional event: we can privatize the restaurant… and also the hotel! A hotel just for our customers! and when you're a small box, just crazy! Inside it looks good. But. I'm 5 years old and me my family and are going to Paris in June 2015.

We normally stay in apartments but one time we needed a place for one night and really liked Le Citizen. Rooms range from small to large so pay attention but the location next to the Canal in the 10th can't be beat. So many places to experience from wine bar Le Verre Vole and boulangeries Du Pain et des Idées and Liberté to organic shops like Sol Semilla. The front desk is super helpful and friendly. They also have created a small restaurant where the breakfast is served and it looks like a new fun spot.

My wife and I stayed at the Le Citizen for a week in May 2014. The staff is very friendly and helpful and they all speak English. The stay included a good breakfast, including eggs to order, with lots of other options. Each evening there was also a wine happy hour from 6-7. The room was very small and a bit oddly shaped, but very comfortable. It had a nice view of the Canal St. Martin from our room on the 5th floor. However, when the weather was warm for a few days, there was a huge crowd of people who gathered by the canal each evening. The party on the canal went on until well after midnight. With the windows closed the noise was not too loud to sleep. In rainy weather it is pretty quiet. There are also lots of restaurant options around. It is also pretty easy to get around by Metro and on foot. I would recommend Le Citizen as nice and friendly place to stay.

Was lucky enough to spend two nights in a Zen suit. After a dozen trips to Paris I couldn't imagine anywhere else I'd rather stay. The room was large, stylish and very comfortable. The highlight was being able to lay on the 'couch' in the after noon sun and watch people stroll along the canal. Complimentary mini bar, iPad and breakfast are great finishing touches.

My wife and I spent two days of a 4-day pass at Le Citizen during a military deployment; I wish we had booked Le Citizen for all 4 days. I can't wait to go back to Paris, and I will definitely stay at Le Citizen. The room was immaculate, very modern and exactly as advertised. Every one of the staff were very friendly, spoke excellent English and offered great advice about the neighborhood and how to make the most of our time in Paris. Stay here. You won't be disappointed. I have been in hotels on 3 continents in the past year, paid as much as $700 US a night, and Le Citizen is my favorite at any price.

We stayed at Le Citizen this summer. Our travel was interrupted due to a family emergency and we had to cancel a few days off our reservation. The staff were very gracious with our situation and even made sure we got some good eats during our brief stay at the hotel. Amazing service.

We hadn’t warned them we were bringing bikes. Brother-and-sister team Olivier and Laure widened their eyes, then immediately said "Bring them inside. We’ll find a solution. ” Small hotel, but they did. And declared the bikes looked cool beside the lift. Hospitable people in a funky area. We’ll be back.

Spent a week at Le Citizen Hotel, Paris. Really enjoyed the room size, the service, a large bathroom, evening wine reception, and the breakfast every morning. They weren't able to get us a difficult reservation planned well ahead of the trip, though. The room had a couple rough edges: some wall repair going on and an odd shower door situation (lack of shower door). The neighborhood has many nearby food options detailed on the hotel's website and the environment near the hotel is decidedly not a tourist spot but is a short metro trip away from most destinations. I'm looking forward to staying there again.
