Absolutely superb hotel! Loved it. Fantastic, helpful staff, clean, quiet, upmarket, comfortable, great breakfast, unbeatable location — would recommend whole heartedly.

Ideally located in the heart of the Latin Quarter of Paris, this hotel is perfect for a romantic weekend and to discover the capital! The services are of quality and the service is very pleasant :) Special mention for the heated indoor pool in the hotel's vaulted cellar! Sublime!

Wonderful hotel! The staff was welcoming and always helpful. My son and I stayed here for 3 nights. The location is perfect and the rooms are thoughtfully laid out. We knew we were going to be happy there when after a long travel, we were offered water and orange juice, and told to take a seat in order to check in. We enquired about an evening river cruise and were immediately given the option of purchasing tickets right there.
We took the boat trip and walked back in time to take a swim in the hotel pool. The hotel was immaculate. I wish I got the name of the lovely woman that checked us in as she was so helpful. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and would gladly stay again.

The hotel was fantastic, a great location, just a 5 minute walk to Notre Dame. A great area with plenty of restaurants, bars and local food shops. The staff were friendly, helpful and really welcoming. The rooms are clean, comfortable, modern and well equipped. Whilst we didn’t use the pool, it looked lovely and will definitely make use of these facilities if we visit again in the future. We’ve visited Paris a few times and this is by far the best hotel we’ve stayed in.

Thoroughly enjoyed staying here. Beautiful neighborhood (though they are a couple doors down from a popular bar, so a couple nights we couldn't sleep with our window open. No big deal. ) Close to the metro and lots of delicious restaurants nearby. Kind and helpful staff. And I loved that they have a free Handy phone so we didn't have to use our phones (hello international data charges! ). Absolutely will stay here again!

Amazing, although it’s rated a 4 Star this is truly a five star hotel. The pool is warm, the towel warmer came in handy with the wet close, the staff was amazing with my daughter teaching her a few French words and the cleanliness was impeccable… can’t say enough good things about this place.

Very friendly hotel, clean and well decorated, pool and spa very nice, quality breakfast. Lack of soap to wash hands and instructions to use the capsule in the bathroom, temperature of the corridors rather cool. Hotel to recommend.

A nice hotel in the centre of Paris. New, spacious (by the standards of Paris) rooms, pleasant and friendly staff, will always help with any issue. It's a great location. Very quiet, there are a lot of very cozy cafes nearby. I liked that give a phone with free calls and the Internet, a useful thing. Be sure to come back here.

I would recommend this hotel for your stay in Paris. Very well placed in the 5th arrondissement, the staff is very friendly. The pool area and steam room is nice after a day spent in Paris. The rooms are comfortable with an excellent finish.

The privilege room (53) was spacious, the quality amenities, with 2 small terraces, 1 at the back for a perfect breakfast. The swimming pool and the steam room under the arches adds a romantic touch to the hotel is very well-kept decoration. The warm and friendly welcome. Thank you.

A perfect place for a magical stay in the City of Light. The rooms are very comfortable and bright, the view from the balcony alone is worth the 5 stars. Breakfast in bed, warm welcome, small garden but still and above all the pool… everything is put together so that you never want to go anywhere else again. Thank you for this wonderful stay.

A little bit of calm nestled within a bustling area.

Had an excellent honeymoon stay at La Lanterne over Christmas — beautifully decorated hotel, excellent location for exploring authentic Paris including shops, sights and eateries; lovely and helpful staff; and really good touches such as the pool, mobile phone service and tasty, diverse breakfast. Will definitely be returning for another stay!
