A real highlight in the far north! Beautiful little cabins with everything you need. Very good Wi-Fi reception! Super breakfast and excellent dinner (3 courses).

Absolutely fabulous! The staff is very friendly and helpful, always going the extra mile for the client. Everything is well designed and built for a perfect holiday. The Aurora chasing trips are stunning.

Obviously having your own private cabins is amazing. The atmosphere is great, the scenery is breathtaking & seeing the reindeer was wonderful.

Amazing place to come and enjoy everything you'd ever want from Lapland. Lots of activities to choose from to make it an unforgettable experience. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly making sure you're having the best time possible. And you can enjoy the northern lights dancing in the skies from the comfort of your warm bed, thanks to the panoramic rooftop cabins. Honestly, can't recommend this place enough. It's a must to go on everyone's bucket list.

We spent 3 nights at Aurora Village and it was amazing. Great, new rooms with all what you need and a very friendly staff as well. It was like being in a winter fairytale which isn’t comparable with any other places I’ve been.

Place from a fairy tale. Staff very friendly and helpful… rooms are charming and features… food is great and plentiful… and the aurora tonight's breath-taking.

Expensive over rated. The rooms were decent but charging €34 for meals is extortion! The food were simple dishes which you can get off any fast food outlet at a cheaper price. Activities where pretty limited. You have to look for your own program. Booked a snow mobile ride and was asked to sign an indemnity form for damages if whatever happens to the snowmobile. At first the routes were pretty simple and manovering the mobile machine was easy. But the instructor starts taking you to treacherous terrain and that’s where manovering the machine became difficult. I broke the windscreen of the snowmobile after the bike overturned during one of these difficult route. Upon returning, I was asked to pay for the damage which cost €290 Euros. I think this is robbery as first we were not asked to inspect the vehicle before taking over. What if the screen was already cracked? And why do I need to pay when the instructor knows that we are novice and still bring us to difficult routes? To be fair the instructor was nice and helps you dress up. In my opinion. I will never visit such place and if I where to catch the aurora, it’s better off joining those aurora chaser. Staying in an Igloo is probably for honeymooners.

Very poor service, check in is the car that booked the next morning to the airport, the front desk also confirmed with us the time, the next day 4 o'clock in the morning more we sorted out, just started complaining to pick up our driver why not come to our cabin door to meet us, the way the wind and snow, my sister and I have heavy baggage, In the snow at all, coupled with snow, we live in the house from the reception is the farthest, along the way the wind and snow dragged luggage very difficult. After the reception found that there is no one! It's all closed and there's no car! We tried many times to call and knock on the door still no one, we are very worried, this is the only flight from Ivano back to London, when all the taxi companies almost no car at work, we tried a variety of ways to finally find a car to send us to the airport. The whole process was very bad, experienced an unprecedented tension, we finally did not see the staff to check out. It was a very impressive thing to meet at the last stop of the trip.

Not worth the money. Glass igloo is good but breakfast was terrible. No hot food. Only deli meats and cup noodles.

Everything is a little less great than the website portrays and I expected for the prices. In the igloo, no hooks fir coats etc so the only chair is full of cold gear. The temp in the igloo is too cold to even lie on top of the bed in comfy clothes. The village is not a village. It’s a restrurant with minimal offerings that excludes lunch. So it’s minimal breakfast. No toast. No hot food in fact. Then no lunch Then minimal offerings at dinner. Trips are very expensive too. But I guess that’s normal. Overall, very disappointed in the village that isn’t a village.

We spent an amazing four nights at Aurora Village, one of the best holidays ever! The staff took care of us and organised our events in detail before we arrived, making life very easy. The owner, Juha, is very friendly and took time to get to know us. We booked the skidoos, husky sledding and ice karting — all action packed, fun, and safe, in beautiful scenery. Highly recommended. Every morning there’s a chance to feed the resident reindeer and the staff were very knowledgeable in teaching us about their habitat and their importance in Lapland and Sami culture. The cabin was pretty and warm, sleeping under the stars watching the Aurora Borealis was a real treat. Chef also took care of us preparing a four course dinner on two nights and we explored Ivalo dinner options the other nights with our rental car and recommendations from staff. Even when we took our own day out driving to Inari, guide Abraham took the time to send me great suggestions on things to do. All in all, it was a beautiful and immersive experience and we will definitely be back again!

It was our first time in Lapland. We drove from Rovaniemi. When our driver didnt know Aurora Village, I became a little anxious. I thought what if mahically the facility had disappeared and we were left in the middle of nowhere.
Wellll, when we arrived at Aurora Village, there was magic allright. I don't know where to stop. Should I tell you the magical environment? The magical smiles and warm welcome of Leena and Juha? The reindeers? The cabins? Watching The sky and the trees from our one cabin and most comfortable beds? No we didn't get to see the Northern Lights much but I woke up every health an hour and gazing at the trees from my glass ceiling put a huge smile on my face. We got to ride the Huskies and everybody specially Greg it was so very genuinely helpful. You could feel that everybody was helping you because they wanted to, not because they had to. That's how we felt we are a part of the Aurora village family We were so happy. I hope we can come back and I advised everybody to visit and become a part of the Aurora village family.
