It’s a magical and lifetime experience. My two daughters 8 and 5 really liked this place. Worth of every penny I spent.

The reindeer staff are absolutely awesome! best 5 € I have spent! The staff took pictures for me (went alone this time) were very informative about the animals, and you get to feed and pet the reindeer. I highly recommend this! Could have stayed all day!

Feel sad to see comodifying Reindeers. Either they are dragging idiotic human weights or butchered for human consumption. What on God's name we have become, truly evil. Waiting for a Santa who brings bliss not for humans but for lappish animals.

Beautiful place and magical atmosphere. It feels like Christmas all over the year and everything was so lovely and warm in spite of the cold weather. The service is really good and staff were very helpful. Prices can range from high to reasonable. Staff were very honest to share about other services and safaris that are cheaper than the ones provided by the hotel. Many restaurants options are available, including very reasonable options (Christmas house buffet, Santa pizza and burger buffet). There is another fast food place that is located in the souvenirs shop (I forgot the name). Otherwise I will recommend trying the Snowman world lunch. The price is reasonable considering that you can also participate in the snow world activities. The cottage is provided with small kitchenette so you can actually make simple food yourself. All in all, I highly recommend this place. Make sure to book early in advance, you will get better price.

You will enjoy it if you have small children. Arctic Circle is there. A Santa is there, you can get a picture and video with him (very expensive). The rooms are all Santa themed. May be very enjoyable on Christmas, but in other times nothing special.

Visited in Autumn before the snow. Some activities were unavailable but visited husky farm and raindeer farm apart from visiting Santa. My kid enjoyed it. Though 25€ for a photo with Santa is a bit too much.

Anybody who is going to Santa Claus Holiday Village, make sure you go to Arktikum Museum in Rovanniemi. It was so good I visited the museum 2 days in a row and also the Pilke science center next door. Both are amazing.

Beatiful place but is not needed to have two Santas in the same place. Children doesn't understand why there is two Santas. The real one is on the Santa Claus office not in the Santa Claus Village shop.

New and beautifully furnished apartments. Clean system and friendly important. Great breakfast. Price performance very good.

The "Santa Claus HOLIDAY Village" is a set of accommodation located in the area adjacent to the "Santa Claus Village". We stayed in a beautiful red hut, heated, with sauna, very clean and cozy.
Price not too much. It's really impressive to be here in the evenings when the souvenir shops close and the crowds disappear. To try!

Good value for money, cabin comfortable and quiet, breakfast pretty good, not worth dinner here, little variety and expensive; A little dead after 5pm, you have to go to the city if you want to do something.

Great village with clean and recent renovated. Unfortunately the bed is uncomfortable. Overall is great.

Magical Fairy as long as the snow remains present. Shuttle to come and take you back to the airport which is 5 minutes away. Sauna ds les chalets. Not great equipment DS kitchen as a colander that can be useful if vs make pasta. Nice staff.

The village staffs are very helpful and loads of activities to do here. The cottage is very good size would recommend for family holiday.

Everything is amazing! Staffs are extremely nice and helpful. The cottage is big and clean. And service is excellent. Airport transfer service is available and free of charge. Staying here during your stay in Rovaniemi is ideal. There are shops and activities in the village itself, so that you don’t have to waste time hopping on and off the bus from one place to another. At holiday village, apart from hair dryer that most hotels usually provide; they have a high quality hair straightener from “ghd” brand!

Magical place for the kids. For my taste a little overshadowed by the shops of souvenir. The entrance from Santa Claus and free. I recommend buying the photo made by them. A unique memory.

I spent a wonderful short break here. If you're missing the snow, you've come to the right place.
Cold outside and inside wonderfully cozy warm. It is pleasantly quiet and very clean.

It's all there is needed. You can even rent snow suits if your clothes are not warm enough.

A dreamy wonderwinterland. You can have some facilities such as reindeersleigh, snowmobile or husky drive while you can rest in your cosy and warm house with sauna. A quiet and safe town with its arctic beauty. The shops and the restaurant in the town should be open at least till 9 pm, that's the only deficiency as they get closed too early.

Cozy place, beautiful when it's all snowy, they pick you up from the airport and take you when you leave. The staff is very nice and the room has a sauna. Beautiful All.

Very well organised, cabins are very well fitted and extremely comfy. Good choice of on site restaurants. Honestly I can not fault it at all. It's just a beautiful perfect place for all the family!

Cosy cabins, perfect in space, furniture and equipment. A spectacular site.

Stayed 2 times,  in winter, family-style hostel. A house or so of two separate rooms, there are open 㕑 rooms, tableware is also available, even if the buffet breakfast is not as good as the taste, you can also cook their own meals. There is another sauna room in the bathroom, very easy to use. Only the heating in the room can not adjust the temperature, good heat, every night to open the window of cold air into the house mixed with a bit to sleep. Living in the Christmas old village, there is an atmosphere and fun.

Good hotel but with cleaning problem… Overpriced.

Great village. Lots of tourists during the day so recommend walking around at night when it's quieter. Safari bookings can be made from reception hall. Overall pleasant stay.

Great for kids starting 3 years old. Go to Snowworld on your first day. For 25 € you can come and go from 12 to 5 pm and you'll probably want to return again during your stay to do some more bob sleigh.

Good location. Easy to get on bus to kakslauttanen. Food and service at Christmas house could be better. 3 elves was great.

Little magic and too much consumerism.

What an unforgettable trip! This place is simply magical!
The Finns are welcoming, friendly, and above all very very punctual! The plane was 1 hour early, the correspondents for excursion appointments so early that we felt late arriving 10min before the hour.

Visit the snow park, there are ice slides, a bar and an ice restaurant (to be booked), ice sculptures, ice rooms to visit, and above all a great descent to make in a buoy.
There is a sleigh ride in Rennes, or with husky, enough to book snowmobiles: they come to pick us up 1 hour before, take us to town, equip us with great cold, bring us back 1 hour after
The little snag: everything closes at 5pm (so if you go on an excursion, when you get home everything is closed) : shops, snow park, Rennes, Husky. So don't load up too much on outdoor excursions, otherwise you won't enjoy the village much.
Fortunately the main shop closes at 11pm!
The Royal Reindeer restaurant is simply superb, and there is a buffet, you can eat there quickly.
What a pleasure to cross the line of the polar circle!
Come on I come to the essentials: Santa Claus! Go directly to his office, in the central square, the meeting is magical, whatever our age, he takes qq minutes with everyone, he speaks French, a small photo, a small video if we want to buy them
I had my best trip with mugsy a hell of a change of scenery in 3 intense days.
I have only one dream: to go back!

Stayed at the cabin for a night. The cabin were clean and tidy. There’s a sauna attached to the cabin. Overall rate cabin 8.5/10. Went for the husky ride too and it’s quite a different experience from your ordinary reindeer ride.

Nice huts but too hot though so you fight the cold. That C is out.

We only get to spend a day here… wish we could spend more time here. Went to the reindeer farm and learned about reindeers while feeding and patting them. They offer free transport to & from Rovaniemi airport! Would come back again… perhaps, next time in the winter.

Very good place to stay, a bit over priced, great cottages. Loved it.

Most of the things are overprice. Too many tour group. Rooms are spacious and comfortable though. Parking lot available outside your cottage house.

Love the private cabins with individual sauna in room. What could be better than being a guest of Santa?

It is a fantastic place to spend Christmas holidays in here. The snowmobile safari to huskies and reindeer are very enjoyable and it is definitely worthy to take a ride. From here, there are also little Q&As about reindeers and huskies. Overall, I recommend this place and it is such a once-in-lifetime journey.

The real Santa Claus experience. Children can have fun. You can see reindeers and huskies and you can go on a sleight pulled by them.

It is a very nice hotel. Although it is far from Rovaniemi downtown, it is relatively close to the Airport. The receptionists are friendly and very helpful. They provided many opinions and options on the activities. The cottages are clean and have private saunas. And, more new cottages are being constructed.
