Expensive, of course! But spacious rooms, water every day new and boxes of milk. Sneakers, robes, disposable sets with toothbrushes and pasta. The daily cleaning and the hotel itself is clean. It's a great breakfast. Overall the hotel looks great. 4 solid stars!

This is my second time in same hotel ❤️ I rate excellent & I believe everyone knows its a wonderful hotel: — friendly staff — clean rooms — awesome swimming pool — GYM — cafe, restaurants — multi buffet for multi cuisine — inside city stars mall — all kind of shops stores — fit for families, couples, solo & business — high level of security — good for short leave *Recommendation to improve: — reception staff need to improve communication skills — reduce little of room price — Free Car service from & to airport — some times all Staff who stand in lobby entrance come to one customer & shows that they want to help him somehow but it’s uncomfortable for us as we understand that they need something from us … Otherwise, I really like Intercontinental hotel as it’s my favorite hotel worldwide.

IMPORTANT! We were having a great stay until we had a very unfortunate incident at the pool with some local ladies and the hotel staff. I was on a business meeting and my wife was having a drink at the swim up pool bar by herself (in normal western swimwear as there were no rules anywhere that stated women had to cover) when a group of ladies wearing burkinis started screaming in Arabic in a very unpleasant tone pointing at my wife. Apparently they complained to the bartenders that my wife was looking indecent (in a bikini inside the pool in an European hotel) and the bartender asked my wife if she’d like to move. My wife was humiliated and left very upset. We left a complaint but until today no one got back to us. It’s important to note that we’ve been living in a Muslim country for 3 years and never had such episodes. We will definitely not be going back to the intercontinental and advise all western women to cover up or they will be constantly stared at by the staff and frowned upon by Muslim families.

One of the best hotels i've been to and definitely the best in Cairo. Great pool, spa and gym. Huge Shopping Center right behind the wall. The rooms are very comfortable and for different tastes, there are also for smokers.

Decorative place, friendly staff and delicious food with good value for the money. I only rated four stars till I visit them next time.

It's a five star luxury hotel of international standards. Rooms are spacious and well maintained. Toiletries and tea bags and mineral water bottles are replenished everyday. News paper is not supplied to the rooms. Restaurants are good. Food is tasty and delicious and difficult to choose from a large variety temptingly presented on the food counters. Each course of meal has a separate counter. So for a five course meal there are five counters and on each counter there are 10 — 15 varieties. The service is good. The waiters and waitresses are welcoming and courteous and polite. Wi-Fi is free. There's a mini fridge in the room stocked with soft drinks beer etc. The consumption of it on chargeable basis. The hotel is located in an upscale market place. There's a shopping mall next to the hotel. I don't mind coming here again.

This probably the best 5 star hotel in Cairo. Staff are extremely welcoming and the rooms are very clean and beautiful. Restaurants are equally lovely and the foods are very tasty.

The Intercontinental City Stars in Cairo is our corporate choice also for safety reasons. Security is good, but it is also very much a luxury hotel with a couple very good restaurants and a nice bar on board. The atmosphere is quite light and cheerful. Locals also visit the City Star for entertainment, e. G. Sitting at the spacious and colorfully illuminated poolside and enjoying their shisha's. Overall a very lively and yet peaceful hotel to be at.

This purpose built complex has all been tastefully combined with new architectural elements to combine with a massive shopping mall and luxury shopping experience and the foyer of the hotel has many Egyptian style features which are beautiful to look at. The rooms are comfortable and tasteful. With good sized bathrooms and large windows overlooking the pyramids of the pool area are a nice touch.   The front desk team are superb and very friendly, I was upgraded as I'm a IHG rewards club member which I recommend you join for free and you'll get the cheapest booking rate online. The ambience of the lobby, the bars and shops in the complex, and the range of dining options in the downstairs area, is generally classy and some good to superb. Staff are attentive without being obsequious. There seems to be an interesting range of patrons. It's a great mix of east and west and all tastes are catered for.   The room itself was beautiful. You have the heavenly bed which cannot be beat, but it also had a huge tub and all the interContinental amenities. The hotel scene has a very trendy, poolside music and bar which was perfect if you are looking for a party scene.

Excellent Place to live. Chic. The swimming pool… a real bath of youth after a hard day of toil or tourism… The buffets are plentiful, the staff to the small care. Spacious rooms… like the bathrooms. More… a direct link with the commercial gallery, direct…

A truly Inter-continental hotel in new Cairo. Best for Business travel purposes. Tourists would be better off in the sister hotel in Downtown (By the Nile river)

This is a fancy hotel near City Stars shopping mall in Cairo, Egypt. I would recommend this place if you can afford it.

Excellent Service nothing to say! Direct access to the mall InterContinal Citystars, Entertainment, cinemas, shops, restaurants, … what not to be bored. Closing hours very late.

Amazing hotel to stay and enjoy a weekend. Many activities can be done including GYM, swimming and shopping from city stars with tons of varieties in terms of dinning, clothes, shoes and sporting. City Stars Cinema has mutiscreen shows with many options to pick from including Arabic and English movies. Room service is awesome. The rooms are very comfortable and bathrooms are very nice.

I asked for "make up room" and the cleaner re-arrange my things that's why I forgot my souvenir pictures, good thing they found it and same day I arrange for pick up (courier) it's very simple considering partly it's their housekeeping mistake but I am having a hard time communicating with the DUTY MANAGERS! despite of all the emails and calls and they even call me back to apologize … they never respond to my mails and when I call for follow up they keep on transferring me to different departments and again I have to explain from the very beginning … I JUST WANT TO KNOW THE STATUS! rest assured that we will no longer use this hotel! UNPROFESSIONAL PEOPLE!

Nice location and surrounded by plenty of places to spend time at. Little old building but it’s well taken care of. Breakfast is a little crowded with one operator at the egg-station. Smoking rooms are with a better view but the floor smells like a nightclub.

Gigantic hotel with its many points of interest.

Great hotel and the reception and Mondial breakfast staff in the suites building were amazing. A few small things were rectified as soon as they were bought to hotel attention (like no laundry bag or laundry list and flat battery in the bathroom scales). One of the few hotels in Cairo where you CANT smell smokers in other rooms… love that! Room service was great quality and massive serves (but did take an hour to come). Worth the wait lol. Access to the City Stars mall (open til midnight) is excellent. Will definitely be back again.

Wonderful experience. If you must choose, choose intercontinental hotel. I loved the pool and Lifestyles gym.

The place was great and so was the food. I'd highly recommend it for business meetings and fancy residence.

A very nice hotel which includes a nice Coffeeshop, restaurant & fitness center located around the pool as well as many other facilities. On the other side, it's located at a very crowded area in one of the most famous business area in Cairo.

Good hotel, affordable food. The air conditioning in the room could be better. It had to run 24/7 to keep up a good temperature.

One of the best hotels in Cairo, especially for businessmen. This hotel is located within a huge complex that includes another 2 hotels+ mega shopping mall. The Hotels offers variety of room types and apartments. This hotel is a kind of down town hotels so there isn't nice view around except the poolside. Variety of food options "local & international" and the easy access to the shopping mall gives an edge. The hotel is connected to the Citystars mall. Lovely hotel and good restaurants. Especially the Italian one is nice. There's also a Shogun restaurant which is a dream if you like sushi and the like.
