For the five stars, there are a few basic precautions missing. However great hotel with amena views of the Nilo. Two steps from the museum and the main shopping streets.

On the outside it's a nice looking hotel, get to the room and try to sleep and you deal with one of the dirtiest "hotels" I have ever been to. I have been to cleaner motels. The only reason there not getting a 1 star is because of there nice gym. For a clean comfortable sleep Go somewhere else. This is especially true if you have allergies!

Very nice view! On the Cairo Tower among other and the very good Italian restaurant! The 4 cheese pizza with the small glass of Grand Marquis wine a delight! Thanks to Hannah for her very warm welcome!

A nice hotel in Cairo. Expensive but you can feel safe.

One of my favorite Cairo hotels. In heart of downtown Cairo, just in front of the legendary Nile river. I love food quality and restaurants there.

This hotel is located in one of the best areas of Cairo. The hotel is clean and has lots of restaurants, cafes and shops. You can reach downtown Cairo in 5 minutes driving or 12 minutes walking. It requires more cleaning and renewing in some floors. It also can be very noisy at some times.

I have visited many hotels in Cairo and my rating is a huge 0 this hotel has turned into a hostel for residents of Saudi Arabia. They have nothing more than money, no culture or upbringing. The hotel is in a terrible condition and the staff are terrible only walk and look who would have paid them money. Idiots like that don't even have breakfast in their pajamas. And the price is generally cloudy in general nightmare me and my husband even in London called the main office complained about everything and complaints abound.

Don't book their brunch at their night and day restaurant. The place is too loud for the band and too clustered. People book all the nice table and never show up. And the food is certainly good looking or appetizing that I didn't even bother taking photos.

The Sushi bar at the Semiramis is very good. Chef Raoul (known by frequent Egypt travellers) is still at his best. My favourite: the duck sushi!

Absolutely perfect place to stay! Comfortable, clean rooms with great views. Plenty of different restaurants with a wide variety of cuisines and some of the most friendly and helpful staff I've ever encountered on my travels!

The place is great. The view is unbelievable. The whole place is very elegant. Dinner quality is poor.

The ambience is great. Stuff so friendly and professional. Food is so good. Pizza can be better.

Overlooking the riverfront Nile Corniche promenade and set in a contemporary tower, this upscale hotel is 1 km from the Sadat metro station and 2 km from the Egyptian Museum. Featuring balconies with river or city views, the warm rooms provide free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs and minibars. Upgraded rooms add access to a lounge offering complimentary breakfast. Suites are equipped with living areas, pull-out sofas and whirlpool tubs. There are 12 restaurants and bars, include an eatery with a river-view terrace. Other amenities include a rooftop pool, a polished spa and a gym, as well as 11 meeting and function rooms.

If you get a room on a high floor it's OK because so don't bother anyone. The rooms and the hotel are great but it is very noisy and the service is not luxury.

Old structure and full of repairs and still need more attention to clean it and overhaul equipment a d furniture. Staff are nice entrance and restaurant crew are out of questions I would say FULL MARK, take care and keep away from living near the elevators of you will not sleep at all. Great river view over Giza. In general, worthy and good experience.

Hotel was excellent apart from rooms which are showing some age. Good food; staff were good. Missed the last star mainly due to room condition. Fine details missed.

Pros: • The staff is very friendly and the concierge went above and beyond to accommodate us — simply fantastic! • The breakfast and the Thai restaurant are both quite good. Cons: • The hotel is old, and the rooms show their age. The bed is clean, but there are stains on the carpet and some mold in the bathroom. • The lobby, the restaurants, and some rooms allow smoking. This might bother tourists, particularly Americans, but IMO it’s a situation where you just have to accept the local culture.

Huge and beautiful hotel near the museum, with superb view of the Nile. But how in an establishment of this standing can there be bathrooms without any hairdryer and with a fixed shower on the ceiling?

Absolutely lovely hotel. Rustic in its design and luxury, excellent staff, service, and the restaurants are impeccable. They also have lovely art displays every so often. Parking can be a bit uncomfortable, and the valet service can get a little messy. Otherwise, I always have flawless experiences here.

I made a reservation on the booking site for a room in this hotel, I booked for a night at 100 euro approximately, once on the spot a aditional payment of 80 euros more was requested for no reason, they talk about taxes! I paid at the base in TTC (any comptise tax).
They're thieves, beware!

MEET Ramses II being seduced by the beauty of the city of Cairo means being completely captured by its natural peculiarity of dirty city dusty by the thin sand of the Sahara, infamous and corrupt, busy, noisy, populous, poor and Straricca, swollen with history, traditions, flavors, smells and perfectly Muslim.
All this makes it spectacular and absolutely to visit at least once in your life.
The mummies and their magic ritual to make them such, open millions of questions about a second life, so coveted by all but certainly more considered by the Egyptians than all the other peoples of the world.
Mummification is intended as the perfect preparation for the second life. The more you are intact the more you are facilitated to start new life after death.
Absolutely meaningful therefore the attachment to earthly life; Little interested in the second chance as a spirit.
Understandably the social cooperation in leaving water outside the door to quenching the wayfarers in the warm continental heat, but not understandable instead of the absurd insane traffic chaos that convinces you every moment to be invested by Magma of machines and motorcycles that do not allow you to walk.
Whole families although numerous on scooters without helmets.  
Very sweet and succulent fruit for sale on the dusty carts like Sicilian.

Excellent hotel close to Cairo museum and tahrir square. The Lebanese restaurant and Admirals club whiskey bar are both excellent. There's a small casino inside for foreigners only, $5-10 minimum bets for table games. Nile view rooms are well worth it.

A little aging hotel with impressive foyer, international audience, right on the Nile.

I had an excellent training. Professional venue. Delicious snacks and fruits. Wide variety of cuisine at lunchtime. The training room was not well ventilated. A. C. Was either too high or off. However, I got sick in the third day and the staff escorted me to the hotel clinic on the 4th floor. The doctor was excellent and welcomed me to followup with her the next two days (which I did not). The A. C. Needs maintenance and the innovation noise needs to be away from classroom hours. All in all, I recommend the staff, food, view and location at the heart of Cairo.

I went there for a conference (not a stay) and the meeting room was well equipped, they offer very tasty snacks in the coffee break. As for the open buffet lunch, variety, taste and quality were good.

Fabulous hotel, the staff were the nicest in all my trips especially the Italian guy who spoke Arabic like a pro. The rooms are comfortable and the view is perfect facing the Nile river. The location is also nice.

I used to be there for meeting purpose. And actually they have nice meeting rooms. Food is good and service is okay.

Very very big hotel in cario I am live in alxeandria but I go to cairo to set in this hotel.

Firstly, check-in was terrible. We advised that we would check-in about 9pm due to our flight. We arrived only to find room wasn't ready. It took 1 hour 10 minutes for us to get to the room from start of check-in, only to find cleaner still in room when we got there. The man (Mahmoud) responsible for checking us in on the Club lounge floor was very unprofessional. While dealing with us he was texting and got interrupted often and he didn't say anything. Room wasn't completely clean and still food and drinks in bar fridge from previous occupant. Bathroom wasn't very clean and shower curtain is very dirty. We didn't use the minibar but we always check when we arrive. The contents weren't consistent to what was on list of what should have been put in there, and there were no snacks at all. Club lounge was okay but food wasn't very appetising. Waiter staff mostly good. Check out was good. We wouldn't stay at this hotel again. We stayed in room 2510 with an adjoining room 2512. It isn't what we booked but were put in this because the room we booked wasn't available, even though we booked in June 2017.

It is really an exciting experience for me being in your hotel. The entire service is excellent. The clean environment, the hospitality of all the workers, the good food and serenity is beyond comment. I would love to stay in your hotel anytime I visit Cairo. i call others to do they semiramis intercontinental cairo. Seeing is believing.

Stayed here a few times on business trips. Fabulous hotel and a fantastic bar. The bar staff were always extremely attentive and always took care of me and gave me lots of extra attention. Loved staying here.

Beautiful hotel, lovely restaurants especially the Thai and Italian. Lovely rooftop bar that shows all the football.

I was part of a Moroccan group that recently visited Cairo. We liked the intercontinental semiramis: very good service, staff friendly, good restoration. Superb animation. The administration of the hotel staff is very professional and courteous. Bravo.

Great romantic place it's gooooooood.

Stunning views of the Nile and across to Giza, on a clear night you can see the light display on the pyramids. A top hotel in the middle of Cairo.

I have been a repeat guest in this hotel for many many years, staying foir few weeks at a time. One of the best in egypt, always treated cordially, froffessionally, always feels at home there. Special thanks to '"christine"", a lovely young lkady, a guest relationship employee, every morning makes her round during breakfast making sure the guests are comfortable, do not have any complaints. And another special thanks to mr. Amr alaa the concierge who made me feel I have a special freind in the hotel always willing to accomodate me. Dr. Samir gayed. Usa / mexico.

Couldn't be more pleased. Was here in December of 2010 on 2 different occasions. Once at the beginning and then end of our trip. Coming back felt so comforting and familiar. Beautiful and delicious, and probably best beds in Cairo.

Very well located on the Nile riverbank. Four excellent restaurants on the top floor of the building and a breakfast restaurant on the ground floor where you can taste delicious omelettes. Contra: 2 hours waiting for the room cleaning after the check-in.

The stay was fantastic. The rooms were large and comfortable. The ambiance within the room, alleyways and all over the hotel was excellent. The service leaves a bit to be desired although. The reception is busy and most of the times the phone goes unanswered. the restaurants have good ambiance as per the existing theme. The food is also very tasty. The morning breakfast is an excellent spread. The restaurant itself overlooks the nile river and gives you a very pleasant feeling. the swimming pool, fitness centre and sauna, steam, jacuzzi etc are very relaxing. There is also a restaurant around the pool and gives quite a good feeling.
