Green Seed is a unique place ideal to spend a week of peace and surrounded by nature has its own trails and one can see the famous giant tortoises walking around the place the hotel itself is very warm and the rooms have a privileged view the owners are A lovely and super helpful to return safe!

My wife and I decided to stay here for our honeymoon. We booked an 8-day/7-night tour package, and we could not be happier with our choice. From the moment we stepped out of the airport on Galapagos, we were taken care of. There was a taxi driver waiting for us at the exit, and all costs getting to the hotel were covered. The same was the case when we left for home. The taxi driver took us from the hotel to the check-in counter at the airport. My wife and I speak a little Spanish, but this was not a problem. One of the owners, and our main point of contact during our stay, spoke English with us. The room was very well done, offering a semi-rustic ambiance and an excellent view from the balcony. The grounds also offer a short network of trails, with several giant tortoises and two dogs roaming about. The first evening, our full itinerary of activities for the week was explained. Each night, the next day's activity was explained in more detail. We went on three day-tours, all included in our package. The bus picked us up each morning and dropped us off each afternoon, right from the hotel. The boats and guides they chose were very good. We were given suggestions for our free days as well, including activities and restaurants in and around the town of Puerto Ayora. Since the hotel has been around for a while, they are very knowledgeable about the area. For these days, the hotel staff called a taxi to take us to Puerto when we were ready.

We booked Semilla Verde for our honeymoon and it was literally the best decision we made. Most people choose hotels in town but as soon as I saw this property online, I could tell it was special. It is away from the hustle and bustle in a lush, tropical environment with amazing views, lots of wildlife and peaceful surroundings. The fact that they have tortoises roaming around freely sealed the deal! The grounds, accommodations, food and tours were beautiful, well organized and thoughtfully prepared. The overall friendly and efficient staff exceeded our expectations. We also enjoyed the company of the local pets on the property very much, especially Luna. The owner Robert was very easy to work with and answered all of our questions quickly and efficiently before our arrival. Everything was perfect! It was a most unforgettable experience at Semilla Verde and we highly recommend it to anyone traveling to the Galapagos! We hope to be able to save up our money to come back and celebrate an anniversary in the future.
