The most friendly group of staff we have ever met. Nothing was too much for them to fetch or drop us off wherever we wanted to be.
The staff are very knowledgeable of where to go for sightseeing and especially where to go and dine.
The hotel is well situated for sightseeing and the room we stayed in was very adequate, clean and comfortable.

After 77 years of traveling, Residence Agnes was the most amazing place to stay I have ever had. The staff was kind and attentive to our every need. They provided a welcome drink every time we entered from an adventure through Prague. And the breakfast was absolutely amazing. The special kindness they provided me, my husband, and my daughter and her family included our choice of rooms to stay in, a town car whenever we requested and happy smiles and cheerful conversation. This was, indeed, the very best vacation I have ever had all because of the kind and attentive care provided by the wonderful staff of Residence Agnes.

The staff makes one of my very favorite hotels. Can't recommend it highly enough. They are the best!

Exceed our expectations. Excellent services.

We are honeymooning in Europe and started our adventure here. The staff were so friendly and hospitable that it eased us through the jet lag. The room was comfortable and clean, and the warmth of the staff and the quality of the breakfast were outstanding. I am gluten intolerant and had no problems with food here. We will be back.

We stayed here July 2018 and while it is not the Hilton ;-) the service is the best we have received in any hotel by far. Obviously the location is great and it is a very nice hotel but I cannot reiterate how good the service is, above and beyond anything we have experienced plus the breakfasts were outstanding. We cannot recommend this hotel highly enough, definitely be back!

We just returned home from a 4 night stay at Hotel Agnes. The hotel was beautiful. But what made our stay even better was the exceptional staff. They truly went out of their way to make our stay wonderful. If we are ever back in Prague, we know where we will stay. Thank you!

We love this hotel! From the moment we walked through the door to the moment we left they were sooo friendly and helpful and kind and generous. This is the place to stay in Prague!

There was no heating and hot water, sheets were dirty and used, there was blood on lamp and curtains, staff was terrible, somebody broke into our car in a middle of day in front of apartmant and I got serious sick after sleeping 2 days in a cold apartmant (it was — 8 degrees).

I cannot say enough about what a wonderful hotel experience this was. We were there for 3 nights during a trip to Amsterdam, Brussels, and Prague and this was by far the best hotel. The customer service is top notch. We felt like royalty the way we were treated. The location is also excellent and the breakfast buffet cannot be beat. Our rate included a complimentary transfer from the airport so even from the time we arrived at the airport, we felt the warmth of this special hotel.

By far the nicest place we’ve EVER stayed! I cannot say enough about the hospitality and generous kindness of the owner and the amazing people who work for him and I truly don’t believe any of the staff of 11 would call it work. Frank, Natalie, Paula, Martin, Klara and Thomas were incredibly thoughtful and took such good care of our every need, from the amazing homemade breakfast buffet to the endless glasses of wine every evening, hauling our heavy luggage all over the place, providing us with endless ideas on what to do and where to eat, even providing us with a driver and car! We felt more at home than in our own home! If I could rate this a 10 Gold Star I would! Of all the ratings and reviews I’ve done, no place can beat Hotel Residence Agnes!

Wonderfully place to stay! The staff are friendly and go out of their way to make you feel welcome. Drinks are complementary and you are always offered a coffee, beer or wine when arriving back to the hotel. The staff arranged dinners, tickets and laundry for us and drove us to places around the city. Can't say enough great things about staying here. When I come back to Prague there is no other place I would even considering staying.

Excellent location in Old Town Prague. Clean, comfortable accommodations. What sets this hotel apart is the staff. A young man awaited us at the arrival hall at Havel Airport and drove us into the city. He was polite, friendly and informative, plus he was an excellent driver. When we arrived at the hotel we were greeted by a lovely young lady who offered us snacks and beverages while we completed the check-in process. She escorted us to our room and explained the function of air conditioner and other features. Complimentary breakfast from 0730-1030, with homemade pastries and other breakfast fare. Once again, the staff was standing by ready to get you coffee or juice. Leaving to explore the city, we were offered bottled water for our journey and many recommendations for restaurants and points of interest. Also noteworthy, complimentary van rides which came in handy to some of the more distant sights like Prague Castle because it was pretty hot during our visit. There are too many examples of the staff being attentive to our needs and requests to list here. Bottom line, can't recommend this place highly enough. 6 stars.

Best place we’ve ever stayed! From the time we stepped in the door to be greeted by enthusiastic staff to the day we left we were treated like family! Lenka even walked with us to show us a shortcut to the square. Frank and staff were so helpful with rides to dinner and the Monastery. We were greeted with a glass of wine or a Czech beer every time we entered the lobby. A very warm and cozy atmosphere, undoubtedly the best place to stay in Prague! Great location too! It made our visit to Prague very memorable!

This place is wonderful. Our second stay here. They get all the obvious things right, clean and comfortable rooms etc plus a seriously good breakfast (included) then they add an outstanding level of helpful service. Nothing is too much trouble. Where are you going for dinner? Can we book it for you? Would you like another coffee? Need a ride to the airport? They are usually ahead of you in thinking what you might need. And they're nice people to chat to as well. The building is interesting, part of an old monastery complex but nicely converted. We hope we can stay here again.

Simply put one of the best hotel I've been to. It is small but the service is exceptional. The staff is helpful and kind, and the design is great. The breakfasts are delicious, and the wine they serve is superb.

Fantastic hotel! One of, if not the best hotels I've ever stayed at and absolutely perfect for my first visit to Prague. The staff alone makes this hotel a standout, everyone was very nice and unbelievably helpful. Can't say enough good things about this hotel. The front desk can help you figure out what to do, where to eat, and get you any tickets or reservations you might need. The restaurant recommendations are all top notch, you'll definitely hit Prague dinning highlights with their suggestions. Take advantage of the included car service to get you to your destination as well! Breakfast is delicious with an almost unbelievable number of options. Another plus are the free beverages whenever you find yourself in the lobby. Be it coffee, wine, beer, or water you'll be quickly served your preference. The wine and beer offered are quite good! The location was perfect for me, walking distance from everything you'd want to see in Old Town. Make sure to take advantage of the small coffee shop right next door, one of the best in Prague's coffee scene. Make sure to eat at Local right next door as well! Ideal place for a great Czech meal, so so so good! I'd also recommend the walking tour of Prague Castle offered through the hotel. When I went it was just myself and the guide and it was an absolutely delightful time! When I find myself in Prague again I'll definitely be staying at this hotel.

Amazing apartment very clean and tidy highly recommended.

I stayed at the Hotel Residence Agnes for 8 days during my first visit to Prague. I selected the hotel because of its' location (in Old Town, close to everything) and its' positive customer reviews. I had other options but decided to try it, feeling like I could move elsewhere if the reviews were exaggerated. I found that, if anything, the other reviews did not say enough about the staff and the exceptional service I received at this hotel. Every detail was taken care of, from fresh flowers and wine in the room, to remembering the type of coffee I drank at breakfast. You walk in the entry way after a day of sightseeing and they immediately ask you to sit and have a glass of wine or beer to relax and unwind. It was an amazing experience to stay at this hotel — especially for newcomers like me who did not have a feel for the city. The staff spent time explaining the sites and locating them on a map for easy reference. Just one of the many details they provided during my stay. I will absolutely stay here again, and would recommend it to anyone traveling to Prague on business or pleasure. Overall, a great experience.

Absolutely wonderful hotel! The location is very central, but in a quiet street. The Old Town square is 15 minutes ' walk away. To Polladiuma and Co. Metro-10min. Charles Bridge-15-20 walking step. A home-style hotel. Small. There is a lift. The breakfast is perfect for every taste! Such care and attention from the staff we were not getting anywhere else! I would highly recommend this!

Absolutely fantastic hotel, we had a deluxe room which was really spacious and nicely decorated. The staff are the shining stars here though and went above and beyond in every interaction we had, the reception was open 24/7 and the staff would happily make recommendations and reservations for us which is invaluable when you are new to a city. We will definitely be coming back next time we visit Prague!

The best hotel I've ever been in my life! The attention of the person is unsurpassed. As you arrive invite you to take what you want and explain how they work and what you need to know about Prague. Anything you fancy taking at any time is included. They offer you bottles of water always when you leave or when you arrive. Even take you by car or pick you up from wherever you want. They went to pick us up and take me to the airport. They recommended resturants for us to go to dinner and they totally hit it, even reservandonos them the tables. A really thoughtful and friendly deal. The bed was huge and the bathroom very nice. Very clean room. And the location is excellent, walking to the square is 5 min.
The breakfast buffet is one of the best I have tasted, very varied and rich.
They simply could not improve it!
If I go back to Prague I will definitely return to Residence Agnes.

Just a wonderful hotel. High scores confirmation. Is a seven minute walk from the old town square and the metro. But I think that no means of transportation except your feet, you do not need because caring staff will take you for free wherever you wish. And brought back, and book a restaurant and even pay for the expense (within reason). In the lobby of the hotel in the morning, a wonderful Breakfast and in the evening you can enjoy a glass of wine or beer, or other drink you wish. There are no restrictions. The atmosphere is pleasant, the staff very nice and polite. Thanks to Frank and his team for a fabulous weekend!

Absolutely fantastic stay! Staff are so attentive and genuinely interested in how your trip is going, taking time to help you book things and then keen to know how it went. All drinks are on the house and their driver is always readily available at no extra cost. The rooms are comfortable, the breakfast is vast and everything is only a walk away. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Prague.

Just returned from my first trip to Prague with my wife for her birthday and couldn't have chosen a better hotel. From the complimentary pick up at the airport (and to anywhere else we wanted), to the welcome drinks (and just about any drink we wanted), to the all you can eat breakfast (which I tried my best to do eat all of), it really was a wonderful stay. The staff were so polite and could not do enough and were always on hand to offer drinks, snacks, directions, transfers, organise tours, book tables at restaurants (definitely recommend the blue duckling) and even surprised my wife with champagne and a personalised gingerbread cookie on her birthday. Extremely comfortable room with fast Wi-Fi, great TV, and fantastic utilities. I felt more connected with the city being in an apartment rather than if I were in a hotel. The location is perfect! I couldn't imagine a much better area to stay in Prague. The neighborhood is very beautiful and quaint. Our room got pretty bright in the morning so be mindful of that when staying out late. By the way, reception is directly in front of the church.

Phenomenal stay so far. My husband and I have 5 nights booked here and could not be happier! Staff is incredibly attentive and very knowledgeable about the area. A complimentary pickup was arranged for us at the train station and we've since felt like we are part of the Agnes family. This hotel has a very B&B feel to it. Highly recommend for anyone coming to Prague!

The apartments are so central that we never took a taxi or a bus to the city centre. The apartment was completely new a the furniture of very good quality. The owner is a very kind person and professional.

This is the easiest five star review I've ever given. Not only is the hotel in an ideal location (short walk to Old Town Square, Charles bridge, etc. ), It also offers complementary rides to further distance attractions like the castle. The rooms are charming and comfortable. But most importantly, the staff is incredibly helpful and kind. They offer a free drink anytime you return and help with planning your time in the city. Can't recommend this place enough!

Wonderful apartments in the very centre of Prague!

We took a air bnb apparent here and it's was a great choice. It's under 10 minutes walk to the main attractions and 5 minutes from 2 different tram stops. Also it's an extremely quiet part of town which lets you sleep well and long.

This hotel will definitely provide you a memorable experience! The staffs are really nice and their knowledge about the prague will help you enjoy the experience in prague! Also has super fast Wi-Fi that you have never experienced for sure! Location of the hotel is tremendous that it only takes 10 ~ 30 minutes major attractions to walk.

If you're in Prague, stay here! Terrific staff — the best I have come across. Gifts were left for us (for no reason in particular! ) and knowledge of the city is amazing. Free transfers to/from train station and around town too. Hotel is older, but perfectly maintained and has everything you need. Location is also great.

My stay at The Residence Agnes in Prague from March 22 through 26, 2015 was spectacular. I visited Prague because my daughter is studying in there this semester and this hotel was recommended to me by one of her friends whose mother had and stayed at the hotel the previous month. Everything about the hotel was perfect: the location, the comfort level (the bed was awesome) and the welcoming and knowledgeable staff. In fact, the service level was extraordinary. The staff went out of their way to inquire about our plans, how they could help and even offered rides to and from various locations within the city. The breakfast options were plentiful and of very good quality. Water, coffee and wine were offered and available every time you walked through the lobby. They picked me up from the airport upon my arrival and brought be back to the airport upon my departure. I highly recommend The Residence Agnes to anyone who plans to visit Prague in the near future. Lastly, this hotel was a remarkably good value considering the location, service level and comfort.

This is a wonderful place to stay in Prague. Terrific location, many amenities, but the greatest thing is the SERVICE! The staff is incredible, I just have no other words. You are treated like an honored guest in their home. You need anything, JUST ASK. You can book a limo for 10 euro an hour and see the town like a millionaire. The staff will walk you to many restaurants and tourist sights. They have an incredible breakfast which features pastries that are to die for. I cannot recommend this hotel high enough. When my wife and I return to Prague, you can bet that we'll stay there. Don't miss it.

Wow! Stayed here July, 2014. I NEVER write reviews but couldn't resist. They provide airport transfer, small hotel where they make you feel like you live there instead of a guest. Close to everything (3 star Mich. Restaurant 1 min away, Charles Bridge 5-10 min walk, city center 5 min walk). It was like staying at a relatives home overseas instead of a non-personal hotel chain. I see why this is Trip Advisor's hotel in Prague and we were lucky enough to get a room. The owners couldn't do more to help. They even drove us to the castle to start our day. If I could give this place 10 stars I would.

The hotel is simply amazing. The best experience we've ever had (and we do travel A LOT). Frank (the owner) makes you feel welcome from the moment you step in, until you leave the hotel. All the other staff is also incredible, and you can immediately see that every single person working there simply LOVES taking care of you. Not a serious face, not a "sorry, we can't do this". It feels like they will get you the moon if you'd ask for it! Our daughter didn't feel well one day and we decided to take her to the hospital. Frank took us there with his car, waited with us, translated everything to nurses and doctors, took us to a pharmacy and finally back to the hotel. Always making sure we were ok, always with a smile. Incredible. The hotel itself is a stunning building, with an attention to detail second to none. The flowers, the stone floor in the reception that reminds me of the little alleys in the town centre, there was absolutely nothing you could pick on and complain. Rooms are spacious and very nicely decorated and breakfast takes care of a multitude of tastes. Location is also excellent, as you're literally 5 minutes away (walking! ) from most historical buildings, the river and its spectacular bridges, restaurants and shopping centres.

Stayed three nights here in Prague and have to say it was the friendliest, most helpful staff we have ever experienced. Viktoria took care of us with anything we could possibly need and was the nicest person. The other staff including Frank, were also very nice. They really went out of their way to make sure we had a pleasant stay.

We had a very nice weekend in Prague. Hotel Agnes has contributed a large part of this: within walking distance to all important points of the city center, nice and individually renovated, very nice facilities, varied breakfasts and a very personal and helpful team. Absolutely recommendable.

An excellent hotel. Recently renovated, the staff friendly and helpful. Maplewood (3-4 kind of hot), tasty baking. Free tea and coffee in the evening. Located on a quiet dead-end street. Will definitely return here when we in Prague.

The location is perfect, conveniently back late in the evening, from the centre of 7-10 minutes, until the Powder tower, Okuda all excursions 5-7 minutes, quiet street. The room was on the 3rd floor, comfortable, beds are wide, furniture decent. A little baffled door in the shower, групногабаритный people (full) hardly through them притиснется) ) ). And it's too bad that no Russian channel TV, not quite comfortable to be in a vacuum.
In my opinion the hotel does not hold to the power for the 4 stars it is not just our opinion. Not every day cereal and suhomjatka Breakfast not all happy. Coffee and cakes (surprisingly) generally no in comparison with various other urban Goodies! But there is a fruit and vegetable salads. Still unhappy remained dry rations on the day of departure on a trip to Vienna because of the hotel we had to leave at 06:45. One funny sandwich+ bottle of water! adventures! tell in advance what the menu you want, that you put appropriate. But the big advantage is that is excellent: on a call girl and the two maids, respond to requests friendly.
On the whole, adequate price corresponds to the quality! ).
