Nice rooms. Good location. The staff was very accommodating.

Large rooms and peaceful place. Short walk to town. Really enjoyed staying here.

I could not have asked for more. It was excellent. Thais (host) did a wonderful during my stay. The room was just fine, comfy and cleaned. Showers/sink have warm water, which was great, because the temperature in Monteverde is a bit cold. The hotel is located in a centric area of Monteverde. Last but not least, Thais helped me to book tours and gave recommendations of where to visit. Thank you!

Comfort. Comfort. Excellent care.

Nice rooms and toilet, with great shower and hot water. 15 minutes walk from Santa Elena Town. Receptionist also very friendly and useful. The only things to note is that Internet didn't work for us the second night and also that you need to make sure that you let them know you want breakfast as otherwise you will not be able to eat there, but there are plenty of options nearby.

My Family and I spent a wonderful time at Historias Lodge and we're already thinking about booking again with them when we come back to Monteverde. The hotel, the room, the service, the food and especially the people working at the hotel made our stay an unforgettable experience. We highly recommend this hotel beacuse they will treat you like part of their families. I would like to congratulate everyone at Historias Lodge for an amazing time, especially to Thais (and Lucho), they are definitely the best. We can't wait to go back… until next time. Large rooms friendly staff good location.

Amply sized rooms, but quite a hike uphill from town center.

Im an Agriculture Environmental Science major so the experience was well needed the scenery is awesome if your an outside person it also have other sessions that was good I just wasnt prepared for. So call before making plans really good trail & bridges for family walks.

Really friendly owner and nice rooms but you can hear every word from the neighbourroom.

Comfortable, in every aspect, very friendly and breakfast is fusion, Tico American very good.

Hotel very clean, simple,! good attention! in the month of February makes a lot of wind and the room is very noisy!

My husband and I came 4 years ago on our honeymoon and now we just came back for the second time. The owner is awesome, the location is great, both visits have been very pleasurable, always clean, large rooms, great bathrooms with huge tubs and shower. Will definitely be coming again and I would definitely recommend anyone to stay a few days!
