Farm Stay

Very cute and comfortable place to stay with luscious plants, beautiful views, wonderful staff, awesome farm with a tour that allows you to see the way that they harvest foods; sugar cane, coffee, and vegetables. On the tour you also get to feed cows, try the local food, and have a lot of fun doing it! I would definitely recommend staying here if you are looking for a fun, and informational place to stay!

It's a mountain site, private but close to downtown.

I stayed in a home look like but inside seamed like a log cabin or at least it smelled like that. Close to the town and attractions. They should seal better the house, too many insects. I think a good A/C would come handy for the smell and humidity. Nevertheless, we liked it.

Nice location and atmospheric rooms with great views but very cold no heating at night. Very child unfriendly with open staircases with big gaps.

This is our second Airbnb in costa Rica and a great experience. The last one we stayed at a place near the Arenal volcano that was way out, very rough ride to get to, and they had no hot water and a number of disappointments. We arrived at Cabinas Capulin yesterday and were worried for a repeat when they told us the power was out and they were going to try to fix it. They cut the tree branches out, restored power, in an hour and were very friendly. The cabin we are in is beautiful, comfortable, and has hot water along with great comfortable spaces. We made breakfast this morning and watched humming birds out the window. Cabin has a great view over Lake Arenal and we took pictures of a beautiful rainbow that greeted us this morning. I must warn, the winds here seem to get crazy — — I mean wow, but not an issue — — we realized this is probably somewhat common and were comfy and safe in our cabin. This is our favorite stay so far on our trip, and highly recommend visiting Cabinas Capulin!

We were in August of 2015 in a cabin equipped with a kitchen. The cabin in general is very well, is very cozy and clean, and has some amazing views. The bathroom is a bit small. The hotel has a private path in the forest in which we were able to see a few animals. Hotel recommended 100%.
