This property is beautiful and the family who run it are so gracious to share it. We have been here for 2 weeks and found the area filled with so much to do we look forward to coming back for many years. The property is so well kept and the bird watching is the best. Sunsets from the balcony can’t be beat. Thank you to Tony and his family for making this one of the best vacations ever.

It is a good option, the staff is family, very neat, quiet, exe location to visit both reserves and help you to arrange tours. The breakfast was very rich. The pool clean.

The rooms are clean. It's nice to have a kitchen to save money. The big bonus is there are two sloths that live on and around the property. They might not be able to find them every day, but if you are staying here for a few days, you have a good chance to see them.

Este lugar es un abuso para el cliente. Instalaciones deterioradas y publicidad engañosa. El monto de hospedaje es considerable para el paupérrimo lugar para dormir. Dudo que cuente con los mínimos permisos sanitarios. Y el ICT no los tiene aprobados como centro turístico.

This place is absolutely nothing like the pics on the website. No hot water. The stove is a 2burner sitting on the counter and very old. Very old and nasty bathroom. My experience here was illI never come back to this place.

Cozy, isolated from the hustle and bustle of town or city noises, yet close enough to be able to get whatever needed. The cabins are clean with all the essentials for a comfortable stay.

Rustic cabins in a secluded part of town. Plenty of wildlife, and some agricultural experiences too. I would definitely stay here again.

Great place to stay if in Monteverde Area. Breakfast is worth the addition small charge.

Beautiful property! Such care and pride has been taken in making this a quaint paradise. Gorgeous vista, manicured landscaping, with an abundance of lovely flowers. Lots of birds visit and there is a resident sloth on the property. The owners and their son were wonderful and very helpful with booking tours. It is only a few minutes from town and I never waited more than a few minutes on a cab (which only cost a few dollars to go to centro). There is also a small convenience store across the street from the property.

We were at La Pradera Oct 12-14. We loved it! One of the highlights of our trip. Anthony and his whole family were so delightful and welcoming. The grounds are gorgeous and the Cabins very clean and met our needs perfectly. We had breakfast there one morning and the fruit, juice, coffee, and traditional Pinto Gallo was the best we had. We can't recommend this place enough!

Wonderfully quiet single bungalows
The accommodation offers individual wooden cabins with private parking on the doorstep. The cottages have a kitchen and are quite simply equipped. There is no air conditioning, but it is not necessary at this altitude. Safe, TV and kitchen utensils are available. Terrace with table and chairs. Small, nice pool with sunbeds in the complex. Everything is very quiet in the middle of the forest. Taxi to the Village 3 dollars or 15 min walk. Great price for the offered.

The family that owns the cabanas is very pleasant and helpful. The grounds are well kept amd picturesque. No breakfast on site but they are planning for the future. Very quiet and relaxing. A few spiders in the room but they dont bother you. Many birds especially hummingbirds and butterflies can be watched from your own cabana porch. Hot water in showers. No ac but fan in room was enough to be cool at night. Refrigerator microwave 3 gas burner and rice cooker and kitchen sink so you can cool small meals. We will definitely stay again.
