The hosts are super friendly, and cracked open a couple fresh coconuts today for us. The property is gorgeous with amazing views of the jungle and ocean. This morning we were visited by a sloth and plentiful capuchins!

I'm sorry, but do not trust in the nice pictures you see advertised on websites regarding this place. It is not exactly as it appears in pictures. I don't think I have extremely high standards, but when I rent a place at $150/night, I DO expect a comfortable bed and pillows that do not leave you needing a back and neck massage (My back and neck felt better after spending 6 hours scrunched-up in a small air plane seat, than they did after sleeping one night in that bed! that's terrible! ), and clean linens that are dried in a dryer so they do not smell musty, bc the owner is too cheap to provide the staff with the proper maintenance equipment. The staff here, Manuel in particular, is very warm and welcoming. He will do everything he can to make your stay worthwhile and facilitate transport back to the airport. He obviously works very long and hard, but he really needs more help. I mean, there is only SO much one person can do, especially when management fails to provide one with adequate tools. With that said, cleanliness is much to be desired, and the place could use some serious upgrades, to enhance the comfort of their guests. I don't think it would break the owner's bank to provide the kitchen with coffee and sugar. The kitchen is somewhat equipped but with pots with handles so loose that they tend to spin when you take them off the stove, making it hazardous and likely for you to burn yourself. The pool looks nice, but it could use regular maintenance and cleaning.

Nice, simple room with two beds, adequate for up to 4 people. Comes with quite a few dishes and small appliances to cook with. Really handy for making simple breakfasts before heading out for the day. Pool was great as well and had a nice view of the ocean. Best of all, Manuel, our host, was helpful in booking tours and ensuring our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Pura Vida in Costa Rica!
