Absolute gem of a place. Stunning views, lovely little casitas and great breakfast and dinner. Perfect pool area too and Laura is a great hostess. Hope to be back.

Loved this "peace" of heaven. We were greeted in the parking lot, our bags were taken, the room was fully explained, breakfast was delicious. Can't say enough! Hope to get back there.

As the name suggests, the place is super peaceful, calm all the way at the top of the mountains. Make sure you have a 4 wheel drive. Breathtaking views from your room. Nice little pool. Great hosts. The only thing they can work on is to improve the breakfast and lunch menu. My kids loved the place and did not want to leave.

So peaceful, cozy and quaint with owners who are very interested in their guests. Very friendly atmosphere with gorgeous views. If ever the opportunity arises again, I'd definitely return!

Truly an amazing place to stay. Costa Rica is as close to paradise as you can get. And within Costa Rica, Peace and Lodge is the best of the best. Great rooms, great grounds with a pool, excellent food, amazing hosts, great photo opportunities and much more!

This is a perfect place to rest and be closer to the stars. Beautiful place with spectacular views. In your reataurante Cocori you can taste good food. The breakfast at Peace and Lodge was terrific. Super recommended.

The most very special place I found visiting many countries, the warm welcome and caring makes you feel at home just when entering one of the beautiful bungalows with a view hard to find a more amazing one. Every detail of the clean and tidy interior shows how much love was spent decorating. When the sun rises right over your bed and there is just peaceful silence on your private terrace your body and brains relax. The homemade food is delicious and the hosts very warm and friendly, helping with tour booking or any other needs. Recommend this place without any doubt! Would come back to Costa Rica only to stay there :)

You will sleep like kings with to put you to sleep a sky as we rarely see and waking up one of the most beautiful sunrises I have had the chance to see!
And the most: a welcome at the top thanks to laura and cedric always listening and available!
So if you want to relax by a swimming pool with a pia colada and a stunning view, look no further!

Nice location, very quiet and rich food.

Wonderful, quiet, safe, relaxing place to stay. The views of the ocean from every cottage are amazing. The owners were here to take good care of us. 10 min drive to the beach. But you will want to have 4 wheel drive to get up here, it can be done without though. They cook delicious food and have a nice bar. Perfect place to get away from the crazy crowded beach towns.

We stay in Carrillo at La Paila a house that we found online for the past two years. Hotel Peace and Lodge road sign is right before we turn to go to our rental home. We decided to venture up for breakfast and now we have booked three weeks for December 2017. This place is so magical words and pictures simply don't do justice. Peaceful is the theme that created us first. Cedric and Laura the owners where the second most pleasant part of our adventure. I have stayed in many places all over the world and to find a treasure like Peace and Lodge in Playa Carrillo makes our life wonderful.
