Beautiful hotel with a huge gym on 3 floors, a jacuzzi, a hamam. A rooftop with a swimming pool with panoramic views. I recommend without hesitation.

Love this hotel. Would definitely recommend staying here depending on budget. Convenient location with great views from rooftop pool and gym. Just wish the rooms were a little bit better.

Best hotel in Medellin. Rooms have built in decks which are great. It is in the heart of the area everyone goes out in. Highly recommend.

Usually I stay in Marriotts hotels when traveling. This time I went with The Charlee Lifestyle in Medellin. This place was simply amazing. The rooms were extremely comfortable and all of my online request were taken care of. Service here stood out beyond compare. We had access to the executive lounge in the 14th floor in the roof top of the establishment and experienced why The Charlee is the nicest hotel in Medellin. We had the privilege of meeting Daniela at the front desk, this young lady stood out like no other and represented The Charlee in a flawless manner. Going the extra mile with her was only the beginning, ensuring our room was cared for by house cleaning when we forgot to take down our privacy sign, she attended to our needs without hesitation. From the hostess Katherine to the Bartenders Alejandra and Camila everything was just on point, the delivery of great customer service was at its best. By far The Charlee is one of the best Boutique Hotels I’ve ever stayed. Thank you for making our trip memorable.

A wonderful hotel with an amazing view. The decor is perfect and rustic and traveler style. Jacuzzi, Vpiscina, bar, Restaurant! The breakfast I loved and the attention was very timely.

I decided to celebrate my birthday in Medellin and furthermore stay at The Charlee — words cannot express the gratitude I have for the staff here in terms of their welcoming hospitality. Very good service from all your staff, some rooms are somewhat noisy because it is in the heart of Parque Lleras, the restaurant Lucia has a delicious menu, recommended the meat. In the morning it is somewhat delayed the service but everything is delicious.

Nice modern hotel in excellent location within Laurel Park with bars, restaurants, shopping and nightlife all within walking distance. Two restaurants onsite with sushi and Italian food. Rooftop lounge and pool area with amazing views of the city. Great gym onsite as well with several classes offered. The room is a bit small, but comfortable bed. It can be a little noisy at night during the weekends but not too bad. I am able to sleep from the 6th floor. Fabulous friendly staff! I will definitely be back!

Very exotic and different Hotel, still being a 5 star experience, good food, excellent attention and a beautiful view.

First the experience begin with Janny a sweet lady with a smile to die for. The experience get better all along the time you there. Service is better than excellent room are beautiful the night life around the hotel is beautiful and fun. Will return to charlee hotel anytime. I recommend it.

Great service, great location. The bathroom door was broken and the electrical socket as well.

If you are not staying at the hotel, the terrace is another option to have a drink and enjoy the views of the city.

One of the best hotels in Medwllin. Love to have breakfast on the terrace below and drinks on the roof top.

Service at it's best. Ask to see a room. Greatest roof top bar! Go there to get a drink even if you do not stay here! Downstairs bar and restaurant great too. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Very good security. Best area! English spoken throughout hotel!

Great location but you do pay for it. Best hotel in Parque Lleras. Great gym even the locals love it. Roof top bar is extremely nice.

Negatives Room — the rooms a quite nice but they need some adjustments to be worth the price we paid. The showers need a handheld head, it is currently only a rain shower. There is virtually no counter space because the sink is too large so it's basically impossible to have two peoples toiletries in the washroom at the same time. The TV remote doesn't allow an adjustment of volume so it was stuck on the same volume the entire stay. The cabinet for clothing was very noisy They don't provide enough towels, need a few more especially in the rooms with hot tubs Positives: Location is perfect The pool bar is awesome especially for brunch on Sunday The hot tub in the room Restaurants are good Gym is probably the best I've ever seen in a hotel All in all it's a good hotel but for the price I expect more.

Outstanding views from the rooftop bar n restaurant. C all of Medellín while having a cocktail. Friendly staff and fair prices. A must if you are in Medellin.

I love it. Very elegant, it is expensive but beautiful, the service staff makes it a cozy place and the location cannot be better, in all the heart of the Zona Rosa de Medellín. Not recommended to be with children, it is better for business trips or holidays and partying.

Sunday brunch pool party! Gorgeous hotel!

Would of been 5 star but they messed up breakfast bad. Ordered fried eggs got a omelette that I didnt order.

The Charlee is a nice hotel and the staff is very friendly. Unfortunately, it did not live up to our expectations or the price. We stayed in an "Acqua" room with a private outdoor jacuzzi. First, the outdoor jacuzzi is not a hot tub or a plunge pool. It required filling every time we wanted to use it, like an enormous bath tub. (It has no heating mechanism; you just have to add hot water. ) It not only seemed like a huge waste of water but was very time consuming to fill. The hotel charges significantly more for those rooms, and we found the jacuzzi to be almost useless. Second, Mondays are usually the day the pool is reserved for guests only, but when we went to use the pool, we were told it was closed for a private event. I don't know if that happens frequently, but we were frustrated not to be able to use the pool when we were spending $320 a night to stay at the hotel. Third, our room was situated next to the housekeeping closet, and starting at 6 am, we could hear constant chatting as if people were in our bathroom. Everyone has the right to converse at work, but in a luxury hotel, a better design is expected or at least better soundproofing. Lastly, it really did not bother us, but people booking a room should know that even on the highest floors you can hear the music from the bars below throughout the night. Otherwise, the gym is really nice, and Envy and the pool have an amazing view of the city. The hotel is also in a great location.

This review is for the restaurant only. Just fire all the staff and start the f$@k over! I volunteered at a soup kitchen when I was a teenager and their food was better than your overpriced frozen/canned food tasting "food". Our waitress is in some serious need of "waitress training" she seemed to be unaware of what her job entails or what universe she was in. Also if you are a hotel bar, it might be ideal to learn another language other than your native language, I'm mean even if it's f&$king sign language. Lastly, it's 2017 figure out how to bill a group of people separately, maybe the people from the tiny corner store around the corner from you could give you some tips, seeing that my experience there was light years better then the experience I regretfully spent at your classy rat's nest with a view so-called restaurant.

It was OK, a bit pricey for what you get. I've been to other hotels that cost less and offered a lot more for my money. The staff was very friendly. I didn't have time to eat at the rooftop lounge, but I did eat at the Italian on the first floor overlooking the park. Amazing staff and the food was incredible. One thing to note. If you are looking for peace and quite this is NOT the place to go. It is a south beach/ mardi gra/ NYC club like area. This is an awesome place to come and have a few good nights of fun and partying.

I stayed at the hotel for one week. It is a decent place but you can definitely do better for that price (~USD 1'400 for one week) in Colombia. The gym is great, and the rooms and views are beautiful. The location is very central so it can get noisy at night. However, I would expect noise isolated windows in such a hotel — which is not the case. Also the walls are not isolating well so you can hear your neighbors partying in their rooms until 6am (which they actually do! ). The biggest disappointment was the breakfast. Whilst the place looks nice, the selection is about the level of a middle class US Motel (the usual sweet and white bakery, some cheese and meat, but not much more. You can order eggs, but once I ordered a little hash brown with the eggs and they charged me extra for it (not a lot, but a hash brown is part of every mediocre Hilton hotel buffet). Staff is friendly, but overall it's pretty overpriced for what you get.

Great hotel with an awesome atmosphere! Music in the roof by the pool, nice rooms, and a very good place to be. Lower floors may be a little loud with the entertainment around, but it wasn't bad.

I went to the bar of the hotel Tuesday, decoration and very good atmosphere. The food and cocktails also very rich, but the problem was that not had all the letter of cocktails that offered, additionally only had two waitressing attending by which the service was extremely delayed and made that them people are were as not had nobody who attend.
To the entry not had anyone that it received and the Lady of the bar not was cordial with the welcome!

Style is excellent, quality is good and it's great Sundays when the area is hung over. Service is usually bad, but if you befriend the staff, they take care of you.

Bad experience do not comply with the plans that offer. Very beautiful the hotel but its promise of sale is false. It is very bad to the Orlando as the best Vip city, put me in the position of foreigners and I felt very bad as Colombian and host of the city of Medellin.

I just completed a six night stay. I travel to Medellin several times per year and this was my first stay. The design is beautiful, and the food in the downstairs restaurant is very good. The location is great for nightlife, but you will want to think twice if you are there on business. The noise is non-stop. In my six nights, the hotel was without proper water services on three occasions, each of them lasting several hours. The two nights that I wanted to use the jacuzzi on my balcony (a very expensive room upgrade), I was unable to due to lack of water pressure. The morning I was checking out, the only water available was at a trickle, and so hot that you could boil an egg in it. Since I was unable to shower I used a bottle of water so I could at least brush my face and teeth before leaving the hotel. I went down to check out, which took 30 minutes, and was handed a bill which included that bottle of water. $10US. To be clear, a room that costs a couple of hundred dollars to have features that can't be used, unreliable water service, and can't comp a bottle of water. Needless to say, I would not recommend this place in spite of the attractive design. I just spent six nights at the Charlee. I travel to Medellin very often and this was my first stay there. The design is very cute and the restaurant on the first floor is very good. The location is good for nightlife, but think well if they are going out of business. The noise not to.

Definitely paradise.
