Great party hostel. Gives alcohol rewards for writing reviews! Cool staff and chill vibe. Beds have curtains except the one I was assigned to, but I was changed after noticing the staff. Would recommend when staying in Medellin!

Rubbish hostel. The owner outright lies about the hostel. There were no lockers on arrival at 8pm and he says it is because guests "hadn't checked out yet". Also every time you write a good review you get a free shot which the owner denies too. Don't stay here. Edit: In response to the owners reply. I live in the UK and about to study chemistry at Edinburgh uni. If I end up working in a hostel i'll know I've failed in life. This guy is a sad excuse for a person and all the guests that stay there know it. Suck ya nan 8 times :) Also I'm getting my mates to write bad reviews just because it's funny seeing you get so wound up.

Friendly and fun hostel best suited to 20 — 35 year old travellers. Lovely dog and cat. Great location opposite metro and in a safe neighbourhood with parties a block away.

Located in a safe neighborhood, right next to the metro and Calle 70 that has 24hrs food and drinks. The hostel has a great common area that always has a breeze no matter how hot it is. Great place to talk to other travelers over happy hour at the bar.

We had a great stay here. The room was very clean and the staff were friendly. The location is perfect too — very close to groceries, bars, and restaurants. It’s a good place to have a drink and meet other travelers. Thanks to Kenny and the rest of the staff/volunteers for making our stay here so fun. I wish we could have stayed longer. I’ll definitely spend a few nights here next time I’m in Medellin.

Staying here for a few nights, the place is great. Clean and neat. The staff is great. Plenty of beer and drinks if you want to indulge. Close to mass transit and many restaurants.

Absolutely love this place, the drinks are cheap with a 24/7 bar that is always open, the staff are great to chat with and there's a fantastic atmosphere with other travellers. Bonus points there's dog and a cat!

This is a party hostel, however it was a quite day and night I was there. You can relate this hostel to Animal House where a dirty fraternity lives. Small, tight communal space. An uninviting kitchen. Small bathrooms. The bar takes up a main section of the hostel. Beds have a privacy curtain to slide across. Its cool that there is a pool table and ping pong table. Kenny, Dana, and a guy from Brazil were nice at the front desk. Metro and La70 (main road with restaurants, bars, and an exito) are within a 2min walk. For 30k cop, this place served its purpose.

Where do I start…? I only booked 1 night with this place and ended up there almost 1 week! It's a hard place to leave! The staff are fun and friendly. The location is great just minutes from a train station and also la 70 which has bars and cafes. If you only have a short time in Medellin I highly recommend you put Paisa City on your list of places to stay!

This place is amazing if parties in "house" is about, you do not need to leave it to enjoy the nightlife of Medellin, gambling, bar, balcony, besides are petfriendly: Kanga and Roo are the cutest and tender things. The staff is great. Excellent Paisa City! Very close to the Metro Stadium and the famous 70.

Fantastic place to spend a few nights. It's all you want from medellin. Drinking and partying until morning hours. Will be back.

What can I say best hostel in South America. I booked 3 nights and stayed 3 weeks. Not only close to a metro but close to a football stadium 24/7 bar 8 happy hours a day the staff are awesome. Highly recommend book more than you expect cause you will stay.

Great hostel! Great location (3 minute walk from metro) with lots of restaurants and cafes around, great staff (friendly & knowledgable), great vibes, great party, great hammocks, pool, ping pong, tons of happy hours during the day. 10/10 would stay again!

The hostel as well as the staff is just amazing! You get to know so many kind and open minded people from all over the world! The people here are always down to party. This hostel is amazing for every kind of travellers! Its location is perfect to get around the whole city, since the next metro station is about 100m away from the hostel. All in all definitely a 5 star experience!

This place is awedone! Great, friendly helpful staff. Rooms are clean and quiet and downstairs there’s always something fun going on. Ping pong, beer pong, pool. Great drinks specials, and cool way to Get free drinks. Internet works perfect… no qualms at this place. Highly recommended!

A very cool party hostel in a prime location. Only 3 minutes walk to the metro station Estatio and to the Carrera 70 with many cool bars and Reataurants.
In the hostel you get to know great people super fast. I can recommend it to anyone who wants to make his Medellin trip an unforgettable experience. :D.

Perfect place to stay In Medellin if you want a clean, safe place to stay, with good company to drink and party. However, If you want something quiet and want to fall asleep early, you may want to look elsewhere. Music plays loud and late.

I can't talk much about the hostel as I haven't been to it, but I can talk about the location as it is one block from the stadium which is very good place to do all the common sports, it's also close to the 70, where you can find all kinds of nightclubs and bar It is even coffee bar, also very good restaurants and its walk a little more, close to Jumbo, Makro and Homecenter, so you can confirm to follow what you need.

Paisa city hostel was a great choice for us in Medellin. It has a great location one block away from a bustling street with restaurants and bars as well as the Estadio metro station which is 3 stops from one of the main connecting stations of the system, San Antonio. The staff are all super friendly, welcoming and fun to hang out with. The hostel has a great bar, plays movies, is clean, and secured by a locked gate 24/7. There are 8 happy hours here, am and pm. And every time you buy a beer you can try tossing your bottle cap in a cup behind the bar for a free shot. Thanks paisa city for a great stay.

After two months of traveling in South America this was one of my favorite hostels. Awesome bar environment with a friendly crowd. Parties each night so don’t expect too much good sleep. When I️ think of Medellin I️ will remember this hostel more than the actual city itself. 10/10.

Such a cool hostel. You ll get a welcome drink coupon for the hostel bar when you arrive and there is such a good vibe. It is a good place for predrinking. Especially because they have some games where you can win a free drink. And there is nice staff as well. James and Mira are the best.

Had an amazing time at Paisa City hostel! The beds are super comfortable and the staff is really nice, especially James and Mayra! Made me feel very welcome and definitely a good place for a party! However, if you want to chill this is also the place to be! With a nice terrace and hammocks to chill out, it is a good place to spend a lazy Sunday!

I haven’t actually stayed here but I came to pregame or just to have a good time and I loved it! I definitely would’ve stayed here if I knew about this hostel before hand. Awesome place to party!

The location is conviently steps away from The Estadio metro station, which allows for easy navigation throughout Medellín and just a few blocks from major shopping area. The staff was helpful and the kitchen and bathrooms were cleaned regularly so no major sanitation issues. However, it is loud on weekends as it is a "party hostel" so it's more ideal for extroverted travelers.

IF YOU Are planning on having even one beer with anyone at anytime in meddellin; stay at paisa city and have it there. Truely great times to be had.

My favorite hostel I have stayed in, both in central america and south america. The staff are amazing and the owner is very accommodating. Close to everything you could need, metro, bars, football stadium. Definitely recommend.

Very close to Metro station and nice staff. Every day is cleaned and the rooms are just right for the price. There is a lot of partying and a lot of nice people and volunteers are in the hostel.

Great place! Very close to a metro stop, very cheap, kept very clean every day. They give you a free beer on check in and happy hour is several times throughout the day. Also a ton of cool people volunteering here most of the time who were nice to meet. Big clean kitchen to use. Small but nice outside area. Pool table, ping pong table, beer pong, hammocks, fast Wi-Fi.

We arrived without booking but the girl at the reception found us another place as they were full, but we returned the next day because we liked the attention and had salsa lessons for free, the place is very clean, the staff is attentive and respectful, the area is very safe, many restaurants, nightclubs and bars. The stadium of Medellin this in front of the hostel and have lots of free activities. What we always recommend.

Wow are my first words for this amazing, friendly, amazingly clean hostel i've visited in my South America travels. By far my favorite hostel. The manager is more then helping and seriously the hostel smells so clean. The location is amazing for many tourist attractions in Medellin. By far my most recommended hostel in South America. The breakfast is good and the chill area is big for many people. The workers will help you until their is no help possibly needed. Hurry and book your stay here because I guarantee you will be satisfied with everything about your stay.

This hostel is by far the worst that i've seen during my journey in colombia. Staff is fine and the hostel is well located. It's noisy when it's not appropriated. Beds not confortable. Price high for what we had. Obligation to wear a bracelet that they never checked once. Permission to get the door open, even to leave the place. Kitchen was closed for one morning, i'm sure there was a better time for cleaning. Not enough bathroom, i've waited 75% of the time. Think Twice!

But what is worrying is the attention of the administrator who lives at the hostel who seems to suffer from mental disorders and impulsive behavior, you called the police, who brought you out of the hostel only if she does not like you, if she is not doing a turn it is better not to ask him anything because it can respond very bad, in addition to workers who work without living with any type of insurance, and many volunteers who work more than the price of a room. I think that is a hostel that you only go once and don't come back, there are many hostels better than those you can go, if you're going to go to this you should think twice. But the concern is care manager who lives in the hostel who seems to suffer from mental disorders and impulsive behaviors, he'll call the police if she doesn't get along with you, if she is not working is better not to ask for nothing, she will give you a bad answer with really bad acctitude; Moreover, there are workers who work with or without any insurance, and many of the volunteers most of the time work more than the worth of a room. I was delighting staying in Paisa City Hostel 5 nights. It is very ideally situared in Medellin, its staff is super friendly/resourceful/helpful. The place is very clean, it has a nice kitchen, a comfortable bar where most likely you would live great moments, as well as meet interesting fellow travellers or musicians. Don't search for other hostels if you really wanna live Medellin, Paisa City Hostel is THE place to be ;).
