Natural House Hotel

Today I have to say good bye to a place what was like a home to me, thank you so much Julian and Christian for all your attention and help, exceptional place, super amazing people, their customers services is the best, specially Christian thank you for make me feel so good, you guys treat everyone like family, I am gonna miss you guys, I wish you the best, I would recommend the place to every friend and family because my time here was unbelievable amazing.

The best service and comfort, I felt at home, thank you for everything, they are very friendly and very economical too…

A fabulous hostel! Clean, well-kept, nice kitchen to cook in and most of all, Christian and J ulien are great hosts who'll help you with your every need.

The only positive thing about this hostel is the host who was really nice and trying to do his best. However the hostel itself is really not great! In fact it's the worst I've been to in a while. I am very surprised by the other reviews and high ratings although we have stayed in many Medellin hostels so maybe we have more to compare it to. First of all we had booked the private room but due to a double-booking on their part we had to stay in a double bed in a dorm at the front. This set up was pretty awkward and because the room is facing the highway this means you can hear loud traffic all the time. Also, instead of contacting us beforehand we only knew on arrival that we had to take the dorm. Secondly the entrance looks inviting but then in the main house all the rooms are lit with white eco-lights. No sense of mood lighting or warmth. This, together with the minimal dress up of the place, does not make the common areas very inviting. The living room has some furniture and a nice bright painting but again it bathes in this dull eco-light. Bedrooms have no colour, just white walls. No furniture or hooks to hang things from either. The 'gym' consists of some weights, a bench and an abs machine in the corner of the living room (not what's shown in the photos). Better suggestion would be to move this to the balcony. Thirdly there is only a single toilet/shower for god knows how many people meaning there's often a queue.

It is a very comfortable and cozy place, ideal for family holidays or friends. The hotel is very good.

Super place, comfortable accessible, well located and taken care of by a super host. The best place without a doubt.

This is a great home away from home, and Julian definitely makes you feel welcome. Everything is clean, there is a fully equipped kitchen, a nice balcony and even a small gym if you like that. The area is next to a University campus and feels very safe, we walked home at night from Metro station Estadion. There are also plenty of busses, we got nr. 320 from Terminal Sur to get there. There are ATMs close by and a walking street full with great places to eat and hang out just 10 min away (towards Estadion). Best of all is that you can get lots of advice, we even bought tickets to a soccer game from his friend and it was an AMAZING experience! And don't forget to do the Free Walking Tour in the city, totally worth the time…

Natural House is an awesome hostel! I stayed here twice while in Medellin, about a month in total. Julián does everything he can to make you feel at home, he's an awesome dude. It's calm and quiet and plenty of space. A good kitchen, and it's in a safe, convenient location with good shopping for healthy foods nearby. I chose to stay here because it is away from the main tourist areas, if you prefer to stay away from the party scene this is the place to be =)

Excellent place to come to Medellin and spend a few tranquil days and be able to come to know the beautiful city!
