Los patios was easily the best hostel I've ever been to. It is only slightly more than the other hostels in the area but difference in quality is gigantic. Everything is recently remodeled and top notch. The bedding is quality, the bathrooms are quality, and there is a high level of attention to detail. There also is a rooftop bar with a killer view. The 9.6 hostelworld is well deserved, and it may even be selling it short.

Los Patios hostel was one of the best hostels I have ever stayed at! The staff is beyond wonderful and always willing to help you out and make sure you have a great time! :) The hostel is extremely clean and has an amazing rooftop bar with a view of all Medellín! Also the people that stayed here were amazing, I made so many new wonderful friends, I would highly recommend staying here!

Best hostel ever. I will definitely stay here again when I come back to Colombia. Everything from the friendliness, cleanliness, to the services, ranging from Spanish and dance classes, to the amazing rooftop lounge with a bar. This felt like home for a week. Can't wait to come back!
