I didn’t stay here in the hostel but it has a great breakfast and lunch restaurant BETTY’s.
They serve the best fresh food in Medellin!
And if you’re looking for a nice city tour? Ask for Andy. He’s great!

Very cool place and super friendly people! Federico (the owner) organised some personal tours for us in Medellin, Jardin and Guatape and gave us the best colombia experience we could ask for. He is a very warm-hearted and open person and I highly recommend everyone, who comes to medellin to contact him and/or stay at the Yolo Hostel.

Fede took my husband and I on a tour and he really became a friend! He is so knowledgeable, his story is one for the books, he’s open, he’s giving, and he has so much to tell. The tour is personal instead of those free tours with tons of people. It is really the best tour I have been on and I travel a lot! The money to me is worth it not only for the experience but he also uses the money to build schools! This man is special if you get the chance to do a tour with him you absolutely should! It was our best day in Medellin!

Amazing chill hostel in Medllin. Don't let the name misleads you, this hostel is very quite, clean and well located. It come with the best breakfast in El Poblado as well.

This place has amazing reviews and I can see why. I think that if you get a great group of people staying there it should be great. For me unfortunately it wasn’t the case. A very large group all came together after army training and simply caused me to leave after 3 nights. The annoying laughs all night and destroying lyrics of English pop songs was sad and I wish the front desk guy would have come more then once because it was awkward after a couple people told them to … be quiet. That’s just me… the breakfast at Betty bowls was always on point and fresh. The tours were also cool. I would suggest taking one if your solo and don’t feel comfortable walking the streets. But once you get comfortable in Medellin you’ll realize quick it’s very safe and beautiful.

Very nice and relaxed hostel in poblado close to a lot of restaurants and bars. 5 min walk to parque lleras. Very clean and spacious. There is plenty of common areas to mingle with other travelers and a big kitchen where you can show off your chef skills. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They have a little shop next door where they offer breakfast (same owner) the food and juices are amazing even though I think the portion of the sliced bread with avocado could be a bit bigger. Value for money was great! Would recommend (even though the name is a bit weird haha)

Best place ever… the best brerakfast in town. amazing huge place, the clean is perfect… I will recommend this place to anyopne who want to visit Medellin.

Daniel Rollano… if you wrote that you stole here in the HOSTEL and we had the opportunity of having the police aca with us, where was all the time. We regret that you step in the hostel, unfortunately the threats of you to us was serious and we already have the case in the national police of Colombia, in two police officers over other witnesses are in the complaint filed before the entities. We try to help you because in the hostels we are not responsible for your lost, but we offered a compensation thing that nobody does, and you were so blatant that not the received one (the argentine that we are threatened) and the other argentine wanted to stay with the money other (please this is not understood by anyone). Thank you for your comment, sorry (IF IT's TRUE), what you step. We'll give you a tip never leave much money in the light of all the world, and unless your us expressed that you didn't have money and that you used to work at traffic lights (ILLEGAL employment IN COLOMBIA)

Chevere! Hola Amigos! Gracias x todo. Rock Right next door to Selina hostel but with much more of a homely vibe. Right at the top of the hill. Clean, hot water and excellent staff. When I head back to Medellin, I'll be back. Check out the Transformation tour too.

Me robaron 300 dólares que tenía dentro de una mochila con candado. Lo mismo le pasó a un viajero argentino y a una chica de Irlanda. El dinero del argentino estaba en una bodega bajo llave que estaba en poder del personal del Hostel. Horrible momento.
I have been robbed. 300 USD. I had the money in my backpack with a lock. A friend of my was robeed to and his money was locked in a room. Only the personal of the Hostel had the key of That room. Awful moment.

Excellent hostel, super economic, quiet, nice and with plenty of room to relax. It has excellent laundry service, beverage sales, games and instruments for guest use. Delighted!

Good for the price and location, was a bit quiet when I was there. I couldn't take a bottom bunk because the staff had the bottom bunks which I thought was quite strange. Couldn't take your own alcohol into the hostel either? No breakfast.

One of the best hostels I’ve stayed in Colombia. Fede the owner is very welcoming and his transformation tour (which explain the Medellin resident view) of Pablo Escobar is awesome. Thanks for everything!

Very good hostel, neat rooms, comfortable beds, spacious and youthful spaces, very well located and staff with perfect attention, always greet you with a smile, I will visit all the chain hostels…!

I love this place. There's kitchen for you to prepare your food. Place to rest and forget technology.

This is a place that is quiet and cozy away from the sounds of the busy street. I did not realize that bathrooms are shared and away from the room. I would have preferred it closer to rooms. You can listen to the sound of stream flowing behind and it is soothing! Although they don’t offer free breakfast they have cereals and eggs for you to cook and eat. People who stay there are quiet and mingle well.

It's an excellent place! The location is perfect and even though it is close to rumba areas, its atmosphere is very quiet.
The facilities are nice, cozy and super clean. It has different environments from hammocks, a space with armchairs and puffs to watch TV or just relax, even, a reading room! You can use the kitchen, there is a patio with tables to take something and share with the other guests.
The staff was always very helpful and attentive to all the details your visitors need. And also the tours they offer are great!

Best hostel in El poblado area by far. People are very kind and make you feel like home.

Good location, quiet, quiet and a few minutes walk from Parque Lleras where there are plenty of bars, nightclubs and places to eat. It has 24 hours reception, safe place and very friendly staff.

Great location to be "close enough" to all the great fun in Poblado. Big rooms, confy beds, hammacks, grill, chill zones. My favorite place to stay in Medellin.

Staff quality is very poor, cleaning aunt is also very exotic, just after the toilet to follow in check, very rude. The room is small, the room is musty, the room near the river can't sleep at night, the noise is very big, the boss is very bad to cover up the staff, travel more than 40 countries, the worst one. I don't know where so many good reviews come from.

Wonderful Hostel! Exceptionally friendly staff. I could live here. Best coffee in Medellin, free every morning. The owner and staff made our trip incredible. The room we rented backed to a stream and created a great ambient noise. Very quiet over all. Hammock room, dining hall, reading futon room with ample books. Treat yourself, YOLO!

Best hostel i've had since my arrival in colombia. Great atmosphere, very friendly staff. Had some really fun nights because it was very easy to meer new people here.

We stayed here last minute, what a great place! really friendly staff, good beds (we had the double room) all facilities were really clean and neat. Kitchen was fully equipped and we could make our beloved arepas! Calm at night.

Awesome staff and great people! We even went playing football in one of those football cages.

The place was really great and the people was really helpful for everything.
