The motel was fantastic, with a comfortable room, good views and helpful staff. The breakfast was good too but it was served with plastic plates and cutlery. There were NO recycling bins in the breakfast room neither the entire facility. RECYCLING is really important to make the world a better place, and a motel is a good place to start recycling and changing people's minds. In conclusion, I would give 4 stars to Super8. The missing star goes to the recycling issue. I can't accept a motel in this high category without recycling options.

Exceeded my expectations! Was originally supposed to stay @ the holiday in downtown Kingston — on the waterfront — but our reservation got messed up — and we were without a room on Canada Day weekend — nothing was available downtown. Our plan was to stay at the nicest hotel in Kingston — and ended up staying @ a budget motel — we didn’t expect much — but room was clean, cool, had all the amenities, front desk staff are very kind and helpful — and the continental breakfast has a waffle maker and hard boiled eggs, on top of all the regular continental breakfast stuff — so yeah, exceeded our expectations. It’s surrounded by forest as well, so it’s nice and quaint. Recommended!

Very helpful, polite, family-orientated and caring staff. Motel is not brandnew but in a good and well-maintained condition. Good and large beds. Close to Fort Henry and Kingston Downtown.

Great place! We stay there when we are traveling because we have our pug with us and they are pet friendly. Rooms are clean and breakfast is delicious! Only thing is that there is sometimes a misscomunication about us having a dog with us, but they are pretty nice about it.

Good value. Room was a little janky, but it was clean. Manager was very kind and helpful, was happy to accommodate a late check-out!

As far as motels go, this one was pretty good. I'm not a huge fan of motels with outdoor access, they always feel less safe to me, but this one was pretty nice. We were in a family room on the second floor. It was clean and comfortable with 2 queen beds and a sofa bed in the "living room". We had two TV's, a fridge, a microwave, and a sink (apart from the one in the bathroom). There bathroom was clean and came with basic amenities, but it was very cold because it did not have its own heater and I guess the door had been closed. The continental breakfast was very basic; boiled eggs, toast, yogurt, cereal, etc. But it had a waffle machine and coffee so my kids and I were happy!

Upon check in. Was the only guest staying at the hotel. Was told my room wasn't ready… yet I was the only guest in the entire motel. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Quality of appliances and furniture needs more TLC. Our door would also not lock. Some general maintenance throughout the whole property would work wonders.

Average for cleanliness. Bag of dirty sheets left on bed by maid. Breakfast only at 8 and we had to leave earlier. Missing cork for bath. Only a few towels. Pay a little more go elsewhere. Heating unit is very basic: too was after a couple of hours and impossible to really control heat.

Great sheets, amazing pillows, definitely got a great sleep. The service is phenomenal and very friendly. It's not a five star hotel but it gets the job done for the price.

The room was very nice, lots of space, clean and well maintained. The only disappointing thing was the main office and breakfast area was not attached to the hotel rooms. It was in a separate building.

Enjoyed the stop, excellent pillows, not ce hot water & pressure. We didn't get the rate we saw posted online. Found this location convenient.

Super comfy motel. Accommodating late at night. Breakfast in the morning standard but yummy. Clean and fresh. Would recommend staying here for an overnight experience.

It's was a last minute plan to go to Kingston. Super 8 provided us with a clean room with a great deal. The staff there was super nice.

Cool little hotel just out of Kingston. 1 hour walk from downtown. Easy to bike to downtown and car ride is just a few minutes away. Continental breakfast is great. There's a BBQ by the exterior pool for grilling. Microwave ovens and mini-fridges are offered in the rooms. Baby playpens are also available. One negative note : they use disposable dishes for the continental breakfast. They could be more eco-friendly and have real dishes.

The location was on Kingston 2, and the place appeared clean until my toddler started playing with his toys on the carpet and every toy had long black hairs stuck on them. The carpet looked clean but really wasn't. We were surprised to see a full kitchen but when we turned on the light it started buzzing and shorting out so we never used that light again in fear of a fire. We checked for bed bugs and all was good and bedding was clean and fresh. It rained the night before and the entire parking lot was a sheet of ice but being new year's day I'm assuming their plow guy wasn't in yet. The continental breakfast was very basic, cereal, diy waffles, instant oatmeal, and some fruit and yogurt. Other then them needing a new vacuum and the light issue I found it pretty clean and decent quality.

I stayed at the Confederate place hotel downtown the day before, and honestly I found this super 8's rooms nicer. The staff member working was cool with a no charge later than normal check-out too. That was an unexpected perk.

Basic motel that gives all the necessaries. Breakfast was good for this type of place and the owner was so nice, he upgraded us for fee to a bigger, two rooms, suite.

Not bad for price. Get large suite if u can. Worth the upgrade.

Well, it's clean. Flat screen TV, if you're into that. Too expensive for location, or a motel. I'll be looking for an alternate next time I come back to this side of Kingston.

All the kitchenwear were equipped in the room. Breakfast was provided for free although it might depend on the price condition. The only downside is that you don't see any good view even though the location is near the waterfront.

Breakfast was included. Plenty of towels. Rooms were clean. Not enough garbage bins. No recycling. One ply toilet paper.

Allright place to spend a night, if you just need a place to sleep, it´s quiete reasonably prized and you get what you pay for, breakfast is quite bad, but I guess that is to be expected.

This past weekend (Feb 5th-Feb 7th) my family and I spent our nights at Super 8. The staff are friendly and helpful for information about Kingston. The rooms were clean&comfortable. The breakfasts were healthy and tasted good. (waffles, eggs, toast, english muffins, muffins, choice of tea or coffee and variety of juice. Nights are quiet and restful (no noise) but close enough to downtown. Why spend hundreds at the big chain hotels, this is a great family hotel 4 out of 5 Thanks Super 8. Will book here again.

Very clean. Friendly staff. Nicely priced in a quiet area just outside the city yet close enough to the city. Rooms were great and quiet. Just needs a kids play area.
