Charge what you quote people when they make their reservation. Charge less for the small rooms and fix accessible entrance on Lower Level. Deodorize carpets or get rid of them.

The Westin Harbour Castle in downtown Toronto was brilliant. Everything about it is breathtaking. The staff is very helpful. The rooms and views are just amazing. Overall my stay there was 10/10. I will absolutely be returning and will this is a hotel I would recommend to my family, friends and colleagues. Thank you for your incredible hospitality!

Upon arrival, the parking valet found us a parking spot when none was obviously available. Another hotel employee escorted me from the elevator line up to the service elevator, and helped me to find my room.

Lobby is nice but room was dated. Our room was full of mismatched furniture, fridge door was broken, no body soap in the shower, doors between shared rooms were not fitted properly so we could hear the neighbours conversation. Wasn’t pleased with the room at all. They also charged the room twice to my card so now I have to figure that out. I’ll try somewhere else next time.

One of the best hotels here in Toronto with reasonably priced room rates in a perfect location. I've lived here in Toronto all my life and never done a staycation at The Harbour Castle. Finally did and will do so again. Large rooms, great views of Lake Ontario, Toronto Islands and Billy Bishop Airport. Clean rooms, huge TVs, and comfy beds. Staff is amazing and the lobby is massive. Definitely recommend staying here.

We are half way through our stay here and I am very grateful for the very warm and attentive service we have received here at the Westin Harbourfront Castle hotel.
Our front desk manager gave us a beautiful lake view room and the beds are so comfy. Like sleeping on a cloud.
Kimmy was so nice at the pool yesterday. It’s my daughters birthday so all the staff are really going out of their way to make her feel special.

for our breakfast buffet were amazing along with the chef, wait staff and I had the best omelette I’ve ever had!
Parking is $25/night, no parking elevator and tight access lanes, typical of downtown hotel parking lots. Otherwise $50 for valet.

Very nice hotel, lots of amenities even though several were closed due to covid. Terrace with beautiful tennis court. A beautiful view even if you're on the city side.
Negatives: no ice or freezer in the rooms. The coffee is not good in the rooms. The hotel staff is not very smiling.

The room is comfortable, the bedding is nice though a bit old. This is not a design room. I didn't have a hairdryer.
The service is efficient but a little cold. The hotel was empty, I had enjoyed a good rate, but they obviously didn't think about reclassification (summer 2020 those who have been in hotels know we are getting upgraded). I had a view of the tennis court not high up.
The hotel is perfectly located. At the foot is the ferry. That's really his main asset. Not far from the CN Tower, st. Lawrence and the distillery.
All is closed because of the Covid-19 except the pool and tennis court.
But the price was very good. Having paid the regular price I would have had a bitter taste but true that the deal was particularly interesting.

We’re always blown away by the incredible staff at the Westin! Most recently Jerry at guest services was awesome and we look forward to our next trip!

I found The Weston Harbour Castle Hotel to be very unique in character. My suite was very clean with excellent views. The food in restaurants, and our events was exceptional.

The Toula Restaurant — on the 38th floor with a scenic elevator ride — offers delicious cuisine, great service and a spectacular view.

Had a fantastic time at this hotel. Restaurant upstairs is pricey and could use a make over but the food was very good and the service was exceptional. The bar in the lobby is also very pricey. Came back from a concert a tad hungry ordered two burgers and two drinks which cost $80 so be prepared. The room was nice with a spectacular view of the island. Definitely would stay again.

We just had a lovecation here for our ten year anniversary and it was fantastic!
Great customer service and clean room.
The restaurant was super accomodating to my dietary needs which is appreciated.
The chef came out to discuss what I needed, made me a beautiful meal and delivered it himself.
The rooftop patio is gorgeous and we love the garden!

My family of 4 had a fantastic experience. Great service — staff was wonderful to our young children. Had to change from another hotel last minute and you were so accommodating!

The hotel and staff were fabulous! I had a newly renovated room in the North Tower. All the comforts of home. Room service was prompt and the food was delicious. I had been told by corporate travel that there was an airport shuttle. When I called to arrange a pickup, I was told that there wasn't a shuttle. However, when I needed a ride to the airport, there was limo service. Also, I was unable to print for the three days of my stay since the one printer in the business center was broken.

Love this hotel — worth getting lake view for sure or at least for special occasion. Gorgeous to wake up to. Nice, clean and modern hotel. Beautiful rooms. Parking is kind of expensive, but is everywhere in Toronto so worth just doing valet and not worrying about your car. Always have a great sleep here and So close to Rogers centre/ACC/union. Great spot.

We had a great stay here no complaints! the only one thing is the breakfast buffet was terrible, bacon French toast was so cold, and they should go back to chef school to learn how to make oatmeal.

The hotel lobby was nice. Staff was friendly. Our house keeper (23rd floor in North tower) was amazing, she was very friendly and very flexible about cleaning times to accommodate our 3 year daughter and her nap schedule. The hotel has a nice location with the ferry to the islands directly behind it. However that increases traffic, foot and auto around the hotel. The room was modern but not overly impressive for a 4 star hotel. The bathroom shower's grout has several moldy spots which I have never experienced in a hotel of that caliber (seen it plenty of times in other hotels). The main reason for the 3 star rating was we paid $50 a night (for 5 nights) to park at the hotel. Valet parking was the only option which is fine but when we got our car back on the last day the passenger side had some sort of fluid which looked like paint all over it. The attendant said was probably from the construction going on in the parking garage. Upon further inspection it appeared to be liquid from a tile saw. It took some effort but I was able to get most of it off. Don't expect to get your car damaged, even if only slightly, when staying at a hotel with a reputation like Westin.

The staff here are so welcoming and accommodating! We happen to arrive early because of our train and they let us have our room early so that we could relax and take a breather! The room was very clean and as you can see, the view was spectacular! I am so very pleased with this amazing find! We will definitely come back again!

The rooms were clean, the hotel was beautiful. I had a beautiful view to wake up to in the morning. I was celebrated an anniversary during my visit and the staff was extremely sweet and accommodating! They send chocolate covered strawberries and a bottle of champagne to my room, which was very thoughtful! This really has to be one of my highly recommended hotels in Downtown Toronto.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The room we had was a bit small but the view was outstanding. For breakfast I ate in the downstairs restaurant, there were so many excellent choices of foods to eat! Also, the pool was massive. The hotel was very close to all of the important places in Toronto, which was great. All of the staff were nice and friendly, too.

The Westin Harbour castle is my favorite hotel by far. I have stayed at this hotel several times in the past and enjoy my stay each time. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. The staff makes me feel like a valued person, and not just a guest. They go beyond their duties to make me feel valued. The hotel is conveniently located within a walking distance of restaurants, bars, and stores. The view from my window is stunning with a spectacular view of the lake and Toronto island. I sit by my window watching the airplanes take off and land at the airport, and the ferries taking people to the island. This pool is large and warm. They even supply pool toys to keep the children happy. I love the Westin and recommend it to everyone!

Employees were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean with a fantastic view of the water, airport, CN tower and the Islands. We were close to the Scotia Bank Arena and Rogers Centre. Would definitely recommend this hotel to others and would certainly stay here again.

I’ve always enjoyed staying here. Great views of the harbour and airport… if you love people watching.
The rooms and beds are always comfortable… we even have the Westin mattress at home! A couple things that need to be addressed… — the terraces need work… great spots for viewing but the roof, and patio stones are wobbly and weed (tree) over run. Not sure how much attention these areas are given by cleaning staff but we found a towel on our terrace this weekend (we left it AND a note on the door stating ‘it was there when we checked in’!
— the ferry service, an important and busy one, really should work with the city and surrounding business to build elevated pedestrian walkways for safety of passengers and lessen the traffic issues around this area… it’s nuckin futs.
Seriously… this is a very nice place to stay… but these issues stand between it being 3 or 5 stars.

Beautiful hotel. It's not the Omni but it's close. Nice rooms — food was good. We had a nice view and staff was what earned it good stars. I had a really nice girl help me with my room — I was there for work and a bit nervous checking in on my own (first real work trip alone). She was great and even gave me a pass for the gym.

We are in Toronto to visit our granddaughter with our daughter and are enjoying our stay here. We are fortunate enough to be on the Lake side where the view is incredible. The rooms are comfortable and the room with a sleeper sofa has room for 8 of us to socialize and spend time together. The indoor pool and hot tub, and health club area are nice. The surrounding area is filled with restaurants, grocery is nearby and liquor store just blocks away. Good public transportation and easy walking. We will return next year. Our stay has been even better with the assistance of Efren and Gloria. They have both gone out of their way to make us comfortable and welcome.

Not worth the money. Lacking service consistently and attention to details. At this price I expect seemless and effortless nights/days but often myself and my peers who also we're staying here would need to call service to have standard things corrected or even done in the first place. The staff was hit and miss with some staff giving poor service or no service at all based on how important you may or may not look. Didn't feel valued even though I was staying a full 2 weeks. Many things not explained properly or at all. Take your money elsewhere.

I was there for woofstock. Totally dog friendly!

It's a really nice place to stay, I stayed for 5 days, and then another when my flight was cancelled, and they could easily get me another room at the same rate. The only few negative things I have to say is that the rooms have minor issues (burnt out bulbs, no plug for the tub, etc) I'd also definitely recommend avoiding the room service. I got in late at 8:45pm and ordered nachos and a Caesar salad with drinks and it came to $77 (which includes $4 for delivery, a $5 "service charge", and another 15% service fee…) and the Caesar wasn't even right, it had a Balsamic dressing… How do you have a Caesar salad without Caesar dressing, that's half of what makes it that salad, along with the correct lettuce. Overall, as long as you avoid the crazy expensive room service, it's a great place to stay. (Oh, they also mentioned that if you forego cleaning they will give you a $10 food credit, which I never saw)

Very nice hotel, service is great. The bed was almost as comfortable as mine at home. They let us check in early and check out late. The restaurants in it are pretty good as well. Valet service was excellent. Our room had a few things left from the previous guest, which doesn't bother me one bit but may indicate that room service isn't very thorough.

We stayed her with my 5 year old for a quick two day family vacation. We choose this hotel because of the location as we had plans to visit the Aquarium and CN Tower. The hotel was nice and staff was very friendly. They offered my daughter a free movie during our stay. Breakfast and parking is not included and this is the only reason it's losing a star for me. As nice as the hotel is I don't believe it was worth the cost after adding on these extra fees ($50/day to park and $60+ per day not including tip, for my husband and I to eat breakfast buffet… my daughter ate free) I paid for a premium city view room and faced the harbour with a view of only one street and two buildings. We could also hear the elevator and I was woke up to someone in a neighboring room showering and dropping soap a few times. I wish the walls were thicker.

What makes this hotel great are the staff. They are some of the nicest and most helpful people I've had the pleasure of working with in a hotel setting. Plus they're good at what they do. The reason I put this hotel down to 3 stars is this: — parking here is 50 Canadian dollars a day, which is far too much even for the waterfront area — the restaurant is extremely expensive and not that good. However the deli across the street has the best fried chicken I've ever had, a wide menu and is inexpensive. Pity they're not part of the hotel — the bar serves overpriced and watery drinks So in all, it's a nice place to sleep, and the staff are good, but eat and park elsewhere.

The guest experience was wonderful. Everyone smiles and it definitely sets the mood of your stay! Really cool lobby. Modern rooms. Great facilities. Worth the premium experience, especially the little details like the shaving mirror and powerful hair dryer. I would stay here for business or personal trips! High end prices deliver high end experiences. Therefore The Westin did deliver an 'executive' stay.

Nice view, good location. Ordinary room, very noisy (with adjoining rooms). The bathroom was room at our arrival and on the second day too. Breakfast with prohibitively price considering the quality of the food.
Too expensive for quality. Too bad I'm not coming back.

First thing — the Westin 'scent' is lovely. You walk into the lobby and it's there, creating a great first impression! The staff are all delightfully helpful and friendly, we had some trouble with our room keys and they were very quick to help us sort it out. Rooms are a good size, amenities are plentiful, lobby lounge food is of good quality and the liquor selection is fair. The views are amazing, the conference rooms are great, the elevators are very quick and I really appreciated the proximity of the lake. All in all, a ton of fun!

Top… but far from the city centre access to the tram and the subway adjoining the harbour front excellent Restaurants and low rates in view of the quality gigantic Lobby and welcoming splendid view on Lake Ontario Bishop International Airport nearby but Hotel complex very well soundproof.

Revenue from walking across the bay we were so cold and so hungry that we decided to go to the Westin for lunch The Westin's advantage is that it is adjoining the harbour front the establishment is quite impressive and the lobby Huge.
The rooftop restaurant being closed we settled on the lobby restaurant.
That comfort and elegance in this place.
Warm colours… huge bay windows with a beautiful view of Lake Ontario.
The wine and cocktail menu is very well provided. We opted for a glass of French white wine… A Louis LATOUR 2015… A treat… scented wine with a hint of citrus and Hawthorn but above all a nice tannin and deep in the mouth. Plus a wine with a golden yellow dress and slightly green reflections… beautiful as this discovery.
The restaurant's menu is also very well furnished and offers a variety of salads… of entrees… hot dishes and high-end sandwiches.
The rates on the other hand are low which adds to the pleasure.
The place despite the vastness of the lobby is warm and intimate. Ideal for an evening or a lunch in love.

The Westin Hotel staff are absolutely wonderful and awesome hosts to Furnal Equinox Convention every year (normally the middle of March). Very excited to know the con is returning and everyone is willing to help or answer questions. Cleaning staff is thorough and timely as well. Leaves a card if you have a DO NOT DISTURB sign so you know they came around, and love when you get the garbage and dirty towels together so they can grab and replenish. Leave a note if you need extra towels during clean up so you don't have to call down for them.

Management for the restaurant over price, they made the over-booking to the point that several people spent their first night in the lobby. After two days they still could not respect our reservation.

Great service. The conference rooms are spacious and well convert. The rooms are nice without more for what is the rooms at regular prices. Superbly located at 20min ($9 Taxi) from Bishop.

Came here for a 2 days work conference. The hotel was nice and clean, rooms nice and spacious. The conference rooms were either too hot or freezing cold. Valet was pretty good considering the volume of people we had with our company. The worst part was probably anything involving coat check or bag check. The areas where they had it set up were way too small to create a calm dedicated queue and hallways and staircases were completely rammed with people all trying to fight their way to the front. The staff didn't seem to know how to handle that volume of guests all at one time. Not sure how often they take on conferences that large so it could have been an anomaly. The actual hotel stay was very nice though.

Service incredible! Fast and efficient. Especially a lovely lady named Lucy! The rooms were very nice, the bed was super comfortable. Everything was clean, and the food was tasty! This was a huge work event, there was a lot of people and the staff really worked hard to make sure our visit was fantastic!

Great location, right on water! Spectacular view if you got lake view room. Building is showing its age but rooms were renovated and clean. Pool was great bonus as well as sauna and steam room. Had breakfast in hotel, pricey, very pricey for what you get. 4/5 stars.

The hotel is adequate at best, especially for the price of their rooms. My shower had no hot water on my last morning and before that was barely lukewarm. When I mentioned it at check out the front desk didn't seem to care much at all. I was also woken up to street construction at 7am and could hear all of the noise from the hallway. Beds are comfy, so that's a plus. Will not be visiting again, I wish I had commuted in for my conference instead of paying to stay.

Had a lovely stay at the Westin Harbour Castle while in Toronto for a concert. Our room was complimentary upgraded to see the lake (incredible for winter time photos). When we returned from our concert we enjoyed a beverage in the lobby lounge and sat right at the bar. Impeccable service, thank you Rafael! I also thoroughly enjoyed the lavender and chamomile essential oil in our room, I sometimes have difficulty sleeping in a different bed than my own at home and this just made me so comfortable. I totally forgot where I was! The front of house staff was so very friendly, I even got warm hugs from members who remembered me when I worked there briefly with a third party company. I felt like I was visiting family I hadn't seen in years. The WHC will always have a special place in my heart.

The hotel is very classy and a bit on the upscale side. The minute you walk in you can smell their themed scent. I couldn't make out what exactly it was but it was very pleasant. They have excellent service as the check-in was very fast and courteous. I had a great time on the 25th floor with a great view of the lake. The restaurant which served breakfast was very good. I went for the buffet and they have quality food and even someone making omelettes. There was an Asian girl on the my first day that made an excellent one, but it was another person the next day and it was not as good as they didn't pan fry it enough. They waiters were very attentive and made sure I wasn't missing anything. This is a very nice hotel and has one of the best service I've experienced.

I stayed here on business. I'm going to be honest my room was pretty disgusting. My bathroom hadn't been dusted in at least a month. There were almonds under my bed. Like for an upscale place it's only in the main lobby. Nothing screamed at me high class but the prices at their restaurants. I did enjoy the pool and hot tub. Food provided was very under whelming. I'm glad I got to come under business cause not only could I not afford this place on my own. I likely would of been very happy to of paid what I got. Needs more cleaning.

Premium rooms with a great view of Lake Ontario, minutes from the heart of downtown. Conference centres are clean and organized. Hotel staff are polite and well trained, they will make sure your experience is good! Great catering selection of fresh sandwiches, salads and soup. Tim Hortons is located right next door to the conference centre for affordable eats. Hotel is walking distance from Jack Layton ferry terminal to reach Centre Island. A great place to stay for a premium Toronto experience.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is perfect you have walking the main streets of Toronto especially the one that takes you to the Toronto Eaton Centre Mall.

I enjoyed my stay here. The room was spacious and quiet, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was clean and everything worked well. The gym was nice, a bit smaller than I expected but wasn't too busy and the equipment was great. They have a pool and jacuzzi too, though I didn't use either (sadly). It's a bit of a walk from downtown, but not too bad (about 10 minutes to the financial district). Also close enough to Union Station and the UP express. Overall I enjoyed my stay here and would stay again if I was in town.

The room and services were nice. For anyone travelling and really wanting a view I would definitely ask for a room higher up that can see past the island. I had asked for a balcony, but wouldn't do so again. If you want to eat at the restaurant up top, make a reservation long before you plan to stay. Overall it was a great experience.

Good hotel, with the luxury and comfort that distinguishes the Westin. It has a view of Lake Ontario and you can walk to the main entertainment venues of the city.
The rooms are smaller than other Westin's but functional and with everything you need. The park is expensive, not convene rent a car, it is better to come by train from the airport (cheaper and much faster). From the station you arrive at the hotel in about 8 minutes walking.

Nice hotel! Very convenient location by the water, and down the street from quite a few restaurants. We walked to the CF tower, and Ripley's Aquarium with both just a nice walk. I loved how the hotel had towers, so the area you exit off of the elevator only had a few rooms… it made it feel like it was more private. The beds were comfy, bath amenities very nice smelling, and overall a good stay. Quick check out off of the elevator with a card drop!

The views from the rooms are phenomenal and the front desk staff are so kind. The location is perfect for a longer stay as restaurants and grocery stores are all close by (less than a 10 minute walk). I'm here for work for a week and am definitely hoping they hold our conference here again in the future!

Visiting Canada and Toronto was our first stop. Stayed at this hotel, lovely place, we stayed in north tower, room was nice we did request low floor as my husband doesn't like heights, there floors start at 5 and our room was on 6th floor the receptionist moved us to 5th floor which was nice of her, it wasn't the hotel's fault as we booked through agent. The hotel staff were friendly and the food was good.

Great experience and great hotel. Has a tennis court and basketball court on the roof between the two buildings. Is located in a great location and has a really cool setup only delema is that it's a bit run down and needs some maintenance. Bee farm was cool to see as well as the view from the roof top restaurant.

I have stayed at this hotel over 5 times and enjoy everyone of my visits. I do not like that the breakfast ends at 11:30 as I always only wake up at 1pm. But overall its always a pleasurable stay. Would highly recomend. Valet parking at 50$ is a steal but if foes not justify 4 stars as I rate based on quality not price. recommended.

We stayed in 4 hotels on our holiday and this one was probably the best one. Bit of a problem understanding the lifts. The ones to the upper levels only go as far down as the lobby. To the exit without using the stairs from the lobby, you need the lift at the other end of the hotel down one more level. A little confusing! Still a very nice stay. Spacious room with fridge. Comfy bed if a little high. Great location on the harbour front with great views. Would recommend.

Very well located hotel with beautiful view of Lake Ontario. Bar Service and restaurants available on site. Close to many activities (Air Canada Centre, Rogers Stadium…) Great service.

The overall layout of the hotel was great. Loved the lobby area and it's design. The room itself was a little small but I did not encounter any issues with it. I had asked for more towels at one point and the service desk was very quick in having them brought to our door. The pool and patio outside was incredible. There was a very nice view of the city. There was also a very nice squash court with rackets available for free. I would highly recommend this hotel for people looking to stay in downtown Toronto.

Great hotel in downtown Toronto, only flaw the Wi-Fi fee. Mark the presence of gym and spa.

At a glance looked clean but it was just tidy. Very dusty, bathroom had soap scum and old shampoo left on the walls from previous guests. We were told we had a view of the water, which we did if we pushed our face to the window and looked right. Paid parking only, a block away if you didn't want to pay for valet, no free Wi-Fi ($16/day), and a charge to open the fridge to store our food & drinks which comes with a warning that they "may spoil". The bed and pillows were very comfortable and the staff were friendly but argumentative when they asked if we had any concerns with our room. The location is great, lots of places to dine, have drinks, close to the brewery and close to the stadium.

Corporate event. Overall fine. Hotel served fantastic buffet breakfast. Ballroom was overly air conditioned making some presentation rooms too chilly to consider comfy.

Top notch location and hotel. Friendly staff. Hotel has a sizable pool with deck loungers and an adjacent hot tub! Could get chilly in the morning and evening given the close proximity to the water. Ask for a Lakeview room and watch planes take off the land from the nearby island airport.

My first shock was to pay $35 to park in a nearby lot and then discover the lot would have only charged me $15. The second shock was the lack of accessibility to the building for physically handicapped which was heightened when we discovered that we were being housed on the tenth floor (glad there was no fire drill that night). The room was too cramped for my husband's walking aid and the bathroom door invaded the space of the toilet. There are charges for amenities provided freely by other hotels and the prices in the restaurant and bar were disgusting. Thank goodness there is a nearby Timmys.

Very clean and upscale. The staff are very nice and helpful. Used the valet parking which came in handy. It offers a great view of the city. There wasn't a fridge in our room, which is a bit disappointing. If you're able to get a lake view, you won't be disappointed. Went to the restaurant Chef Corbin. A bit on the pricey side, but definitely worth it. The portions are good and the food is delicious. They also offer a spa and pool.

Great location, but the age of the hotel definitely shows. Rooms are small and can hear guests in other rooms. Could actually hear others use the bathroom! Hotel staff was very courteous. At first the valet said they didn't have any additional space for trucks, but upon asking someone else I got a better answer. Hotel bar is very expensive, but on par I suppose for a hotel in a major downtown area.

Got trolled by the place I booked through (skoosh) and was told I'd have a king bed but when I arrived it was two singles! The staff at the hotel were super helpful though and resolved. The only reason I can't give it 5 stars is someone knocked on the door at 8:30am and wanted to clean my room.

I'm a Starwood guy, and I can say this is easily one of the best Westins, if not Starwood hotel, I've stayed. Between an excellent location with phenomenal views of Lake Ontario, an amazing gym, and well-kept, comfortable rooms, I was very happy with everything I experienced here. I would not hesitate to book here again.

Stayed for a work conference, room was clean and fairly quiet. The clock didn't work and there was a significant lack of outlets in the right places. The staff was friendly and helpful. The lobby was a little confusing, mainly due to size, and it could use more automatic doors. They were checking the elevators so only a few were available which was annoying. The music in the elevators was too loud and my mini fridge was locked.

Stayed for a few nights as a short vacation. The hotel is in a great location and is very nice. Rooms are well appointed and beds are very comfortable. The PATH system is very close by as well is the TTC.

Thank you for over charging my master card. I didn't need that money for Christmas or anything. Thank you so much for calling me back about it too. You guys are just so awesome. Happy holidays. Ass holes. Ps Two weeks later and still no money. These people are impossible. Useless staff. Thanks for nothing. This won't be the last heard from me. I'm not paying almost $1000 for a crap three night stay in a small basic room.

The view is so great… I love it. Staff is polite. The pool and the jacuzzi are to die for. I had a great time here.

Located in downtown Toronto and right off Lake Ontario, The Westin Harbour Castle provided a pleasant retirement from a fun night of holiday parties and loud music. There's plenty to do within minutes from the hotel, downtown so the location is quite advantageous for the active visitor. The view from one of the 32nd floor's South-facing suites in our stay was exhilarating as we overlooked the lake in grand splendor. Keep in mind however, the limited hours of daylight that Toronto offers throughout its chilly Winters; it can leave you wishing for a dotted city skyline, once nightfall comes. The suite is clean, spacious, and modern without feeling cheap or trendy. And as always, The Westin's linens and king beds are a pleasure to rest on. They certainly set the bar high for other hotels (and you can in fact buy beds and linens from them online, if you're looking to upgrade and sleep like the dead). We did not have an opportunity to try food, beverage, or services at the hotel. Oddly the in-suite mini-bar or fridge was under lock-and-key as well. Admittedly it is not something I am impressed with, but this is typical of hotels now in North America for reasons I'm sure are justified (you can merely ask the front desk for a key). All-in-all, it was a good stay — I would have no problem doing it again in the future.

Stayed for the purpose of an event at the banquet room. Despite the aged exterior, the interior was avantgarde, sophisticated and detailed. The service was exquisite and the rooms were impeccably clean. The location is nice, but the lack of immediate public transit makes it a touch inconvenient. The biggest tragedy or complain is the parking: it is an absolute ripoff. That aside, the time was very very good.

Amazing views from this hotel, staff were very helpful and the run route is great! Wi-Fi is good, gym is fairly small but never seemed busy when I went down, pool is nice. Plenty of choice near the hotel for food if you'd like to explore.

Over priced rooms over priced food and over priced bar not worth the money. Unless you like a 25$ two egg breakfast.

Rooms were very clean, staff so professional and above and beyond. Breakfast buffet was above most hotel buffets. Love the valet parking but rate is high but I expect it from a downtown hotel. Great view of the island a water.

Currently staying in this hotel. It is nice, don't get me wrong, but my job requires me to have Wi-Fi, and this hotel has the worst hotel Wi-Fi I have ever experienced. When we first showed up it asked us to pay outrageous amounts. After calling down to the front desk a few times, they somehow made it so we didn't have to pay. Now a few days later none of us can connect, and there isn't even an option to pay if we wanted to. I even tried the ethernet cable, which still didn't work. Now I'm forced to stay in the lobby all day to work? What kind of shit is that. The only reason this is 2 stars instead of 1 is because the hotel itself is pretty decent. The rooms are nice and clean, pool, hot tub, gym and tennis courts are great. But if you NEED Wi-Fi for your occupation, stay away!

Room Was great, Location was great but We had a very bad experience with the billing manager. We were wrongly billed for parking and the hotel manager was very rude and condescending even after finding out her mistake. If you have no other options then you can try this otherwise try the Marriott. Also the breakfast buffet with kind of pricey and not too many options. About us: We were a group of physicians visiting from the United States and frequently lodge at 4 and 5 star hotels.

This place has always been good to me throughout the various years I've been here. Food, staff and their service has been excellent. I love their pool and work out room as well. I would recommend them to anyone. If you're able to get a room with the lake view, the sunrise is beautiful.

First time at the Westin Harbour Castle a couple weekends ago. I will be back for sure! Location is perfect. Room was beautiful and staff were very friendly and accommodating. I would like to give a special "shout out" to Bin Sadoon at the front desk who was an absolute delight to deal with. His excellent customer service set the tone for a very delightful stay. The staff are amazing and the place is clean and comfortable. But 5.50 for a soft drink and 6.22 for a coffee? And an 'upscale' menu too fancy for its own good with food that takes forever to serve. 5 stars for the staff and maybe 1 for the menu. Maybe they are going through changes as their food, etc, does not fit their clientele.

Very nice rooms, great views, good service and affordable. Got an Expedia deal for a luxurious staycation.

We had a most incredible experience with customer service at this hotel. When we arrived from the airport, there was not a room for us, despite our reservation. Our family of four had to sleep in two separate rooms the first night. To make up for it, they gave us a four room suite on the penthouse floor for the remainder of our four night stay. Not only that, they then delivered up some room service snacks for us. Incredible! the hotel really is wonderful, has beautiful views and is walking distance to Eaton Centre, the CN tower, and many other things, it was a magical long weekend.

Arrived at the hotel around 9 pm, room wasn't ready, was taken to the bar lounge and offered $50 credit for food. The food was bland, and to top it off, when I came back home and reviewed my final invoice, the credit has never been given to me. I contacted billing services twice and never got a response. The review I had posted never appeared on their site while other "5 stars" reviews that have been posted a week after mine appeared. I'm starting to believe the hotel tries to scam their customers into eating their sub par and overprice food.

Great location. But rooms are small and worn. We got a lake view room, the view is really nice. But the room is pretty small, and the bathroom is way too small. The door almost touches the toilet when open. You have to close the door to get to the shower. No matter how careful I am in the shower, water still splashes out. The breakfast buffet has a great food selection with LOTS of fruit flys.

Attended an annual conference in Toronto last week (May 8-10, 2014) at the Toronto Convention Centre and stayed at the Westin. The hotel was great. Rooms were clean, hotel well kept, friendly staff (albeit the concierge desk was understaffed, creating a longer unnecessary wait). Unfortunately, my experience was soured upon checkout! ~when I claimed my suitcase in the afternoon after leaving it there to finish the conference in the morning. The baggage clerk (who confirmed with me that I'd need a ride in the afternoon) called up their house driver who pulled up a couple minutes later in a Chevy Escalade and loaded my suitcase in the back while I hopped in the backseat. As we pulled away, I asked the driver to take me to Billy Bishop Airport. Apparently he did not hear me as 10 minutes later he pulls onto an on-ramp to take me to Pearson Int'l. At which point I told him again about my request for Billy Bishop Airport. 15-20 minutes later we ended up backtracking to my initial destination. Everything was okay until we got out. He unloaded my suitcase at which point I handed him $5.00. Thinking I was giving him a tip. He looked at it as though I handed him a piece of lint. We got into an exchange of words and as it turns out he ends up blaming me because I apparently didn't tell him nor the baggage guy that I needed to go to Billy Bishop. However no-one the entire time even asked where I needed my 'ride' to.
