Went to DEQ bar. Great location and very posh venue. I used to love this place because they had decent drinks and an amazing bar mix (mix of nuts and olives). Unfortunately, the bar mix is now gone and has been replaced with a cheaper quality mix. Drinks are now also $20+ each, which seem pretty expensive compared to other venues. But I guess you're paying for the ambiance.

Visited the Carlin Spa within the hotel for a couple's spa treatment. Awesome service, with very attentive staff. Great stress relief, and since it was a 1hr+ session, it included full day access to the sauna, whirlpool, and salt water main pool. Would certainly recommend!

Thank you for making our stay so wonderful. Max and Elaine at Concierge, Olga at club lounge, housekeeping and entire hotel staff, going out of their way to ensure that guests are happy. If anyone considering to stay here or not, by all means DO so, you will love it. Kids friendly and they ensure that kids happy. Thank you!

My favorite hotel in Canada. Beautiful, chic, and service is incredible! The rooms facing lake and CN tower are breathtaking. Club Lounge was also a great plus with delicious snacks and drinks served all day. The Spa was definitely the best part though. Spent hours in the pool and Jacuzzi after my massage. Do yourself a favor and book a room here to experience what the Ritz is all about, you will not regret it!

My experience was very bad. The staff were extremely rude. When I got to my hotel room the bed wasn’t made and the bathroom was beyond disgusting. I payed a lot for this hotel room and I was very disappointed. The only reason why I’m giving this 2 stars was because one of the cleaning ladies came and she helped me right away. She was very kind. I would not recommend this place to anyone. I left angry and unsatisfied. Not worth the money.

Afternoon Tea series, Carlton afternoon tea only on weekends, to make an appointment in advance, divided into two periods 12:00pm and 3:00pm. There are three options, different places are paired with champagne is not the same, ingredients are the same, personal recommendation Blush, is the second, about $70 a person. There are 12 kinds of tea, personally recommended heavenly cream, with milk and sugar to drink better. Dim sum is divided into two kinds, first on the sandwich series, salty taste, after the sweetness, dessert, absolutely enough to eat. Carlton's environment is good, dim sum quality is good, Chinese often come, if not very care about the environment, King Edward Hotel afternoon tea is worth a visit.

I had trouble finding the restaurant but a staff person at the hotel entrance was kind enough to direct me to the correct place. When we arrive we were able to choose any seat we wanted and a waitress immediately greeted us at the table. The service was amazing, the food was amazing. My friend ordered a lobster and I order some pork tacos which were delicious and full of flavor. The atmosphere was nice and relaxing with romantic dim lighting and easy going music in the background. I very much enjoyed the luxurious experience at the Ritz Carlton.

A top-of-the-range hotel in Toronto. Two bars with very different atmospheres in the lobby. A restaurant that really comes out of the ordinary. Not exactly a traditional Ritz like the ones you're used to. A touch of freshness and modernity! There are also beautiful rooms for receptions and conferences!

I had my wedding at the Ritz-Carlton on September 16 2017 and I would like to thank Mr. Simon Farey and his associates and staff for helping us prepare. They went out of their way and helped us from the get-go to the very last second. It was everything I wished for and more, a magical event to say the least. I may have had one little concern about the buffet, I felt the portion sizes were a bit too small for the guests. Otherwise it was very tasty and high quality food food.

My room was beautiful and spacious with an amazing view of the cn tower. Service was excellent and quick. Great location. Close to everything you need from restaurants to clubs. Spent the day at the spa. It was beautiful and very relaxing. The best massage I've ever had.

Didn't have an overnight stay at the hotel; however, we were dining at Toca Restaurant and used some of the hotel facilities including the valet parking. All of the staff that we interacted with were fantastic. The valet parking service was reasonably priced considering that the service was top notch. Look forward to staying at the hotel next time.

Top! Access to the hammam, sauna, Jacuzzi, swimming pool and relaxation room when you take an hour of massage.

My favourite 5* hotel in Toronto. It’s all about the location. City view and water view. In the entertainment district, you can access everything in 5min walk. Theatre, shopping, amazing restaurant, aquarium, can tower. You can even use the Path (the underground city) perfect for cold and rainy days. The rooms are beautiful. My favourite is The Simcoe suite. Very unique. Do the brunch and high tea here. The service is the real Gold Standard you would expect from the Ritz-Carlton. I would highly recommend to stay here. Make sure to also visit the Spa.

Reviews for R-C are easy because if you ever stay at RC property anywhere — you know what to expect. I am sure someone can something to complain about if you choose to but I never had a bad experience at RC. This was our first time to visit Toronto and RC staff made our visit just that much better. Location is right in the center of things to do, easy walk to lots of good places, view (if you get a lake view) is amazing. Restaurant is also very good. You should not be dissapointed.

Top Notch! I used to stay at the Fairmont (12x’s a year +) but the Ritz tops them all! They go above and beyond for their clients. We were travelling with our kiddos and I can’t thank the staff enough for the excellent customer service we received. Lindsay, Viviana and Victoria at the check in desk. As well as Marco, Olga and Charlene in the club lounge ensured everything for my family was taken care of and provided excellent customer service! If you’re looking for the best place hands down in Toronto. The Ritz does it right!

Stayed here 2 nights. Awesome facility. First class staff always greeting you by your first name. Great food and drinks. Rooms are luxurious and quiet with all the amenities. Will definitely be back. Easy location to find.

Amazing experience. One of the best hotels in the city. White glove service and in a perfect location. The Ritz-Carlton is the best in every category but you are paying for what you get. This is a premium hotel geared toward a premium client. If you're not on a budget and are looking for an amazing hotel experience, this is the place for you.

Beautiful hotel with great service, however, the beds were terrible. There's a wooden 1 inch board under the mattresses and this caused such a big problem in having a great night sleep. I couldn't wait to come home. I had such back pain and side pains every morning. We spent so much money on this hotel that they should be more considerate and replace those mattresses for all the guests who stay here. For this reason alone I gave it a 2 star. Once they decide to change this then it would definitely be a 5 star hotel.

Firstly, I want to mention that I went to the hotel for a 2 day conference (did not stay at this hotel) so my review will be based on that experience. Beautiful facilities and courteous staff, we never were in lack of anything while there. I also had breakfast at the restaurant one morning and was impressed. Attentive service and delicious food. I cannot name one thing wrong with my experience!

We had a great time this weekend at our 2018 Work Winter Party. We were greeted in the most amazing possible manner from the Valet team, to front desk team (that gave us champagne) and the house keeping staff. Every time we walked by an employee they would ask if we were ok, even the bellhop in our elevator and if we were having a great time. Guillermo, one of the Valet team greeted us in the best possible way. He made us feel so welcomed and thanked us for staying at the Hotel for the evening. Thank you to all staff members that we met this weekend, not only did we have a great Hotel, but the experience was "Top Notch" … Mike.

Beautiful place with exceptional service and quality. You can feel it in the weight of the door when you slide your key card in for the first time and see it when you enter the grand & warm lobby. I recommend anybody to stay here, you will not be disappointed! And please do try out the room service poutine, it's the best one I have ever tried!

The hotel is spectacular both inside and out. Hotel staff are very helpful and knowledgeable. Toca was beautiful and the food and drinks were amazing. Loved my event and would recommend this place to everyone!

Clean rooms, great food, awesome service. Staff are well trained and they know what they are doing. We like how the staff pay attention to little details. They leave extra towels if you used all of them the day before, Same with coffee pods for the espresso machine and more. To us that’s very important.

I loved as hotel as situation is in the heart of the building and as a service we were given a high room overlooking the adjoining buildings and at night it was spectacular to see the city lit up and the offices and other homes also, the breakfast good I don't know their restaurants.

Nice hotel in a good location. The staff is very friendly and tries to fulfill all your wishes. The pool is also very nice with views of the CN Tower.

Review for TOCA restaurant: food is good and wine selection on par with what would be expected for such establishment. Staff was great to deal with. However, the food (and particularly the wine) is on the expensive side for the quality you are getting. Possible to get same quality for lesser price. However, it's still a good night out.

Attended a function here recently. The facilities were substandard to say the least. For what they charge you here, they should be ashamed. The building is decorated in an upscale 80's motif which I thought was very odd but tolerable. The cleanliness for a private function left much to be desired, they should have vacuumed the floor before allowing another party to take place. It was quite a large space so that was good. Service was also lacking for a so called 5-star establishment. I hope they're better at being a hotel than hosting private functions. I wouldn't book here again even if someone else was paying.

At the second floor ball room for social events, nice and spacious. Food was great but definitely not planned properly for the amount of people there. Unorganized and timely lines just to get food.

Did the monthly cheese and wine experience at toca it was very well organized and very educational. The chef who ran most of the event was excellent. Definitely recommend.

It was a great time. The staff there were very courteous and professional. The general atmosphere of the hotel was also amazing. It felt very welcoming. Great spot for a stay or to invite guests over for a drink at the bar.

I went here after Christmas … loved the life size ginger bread house… and loved that it was located so near great restaurants. But not so sure if it was worth the price. I didn't find the front staff to be "that" friendly and helpful. I think that it could have been more friendly. Maybe my expectations are a bit high. But this is a luxury hotel and I didn't feel that luxury. The room is beautiful and I liked that the bathroom separated the living area (my son slept on the sofa bed) and the bedroom. But something was missing.

Stayed here for a couple of days in May. Such a beautiful hotel! The rooms were clean, had an amazing view and the staff was excellent. The lounge on the 19th floor was great. Drinks and snacks included and it was delicious. I would be happy to stay here again.

Great Hotel. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. I have had the opportunity to build this building back in 2008 and its design is still beautiful and it is still very well kept. It also has a very good ambiance and good vibe. It was a great project to be apart of and I have great memories here.

Have traveled to many countries and stayed in a lot of different hotels and other types accommodations. The Ritz-Carlton in Toronto is one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. Typical Ritz-Carlton 5 star quality and service with a very comfortable and welcoming feel. Also a big fan of world class Sunday brunch they have in the hotel.

Upscale bar with awesome lounge patio, music, and decor. Drinks are a bit pricey, but to be expected here. Live flame as table centerpieces are great for keeping your wife (who's cold at night, even in the middle of summer) warm. Hot spot during events.

I was there for a wedding and everything about the banquet hall was elegant and classy. The food was absolutely amazing in the staff went above and beyond to give us great service. I highly recommend this venue for any type of social event.

Went for a 40th birthday party. Great place to throw a gathering if money isn't an object. Great service and elegant atmosphere. For a fancy hotel I was surprised that they respected earth hour and turned down/ off a bunch of their lights.
