Only stayed for a night but it was a pleasant experience. The staff were excellent and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. I'd stay there again.

Pros: Great location, close to shops and restaurants, easy to find. Super friendly and very helpful staff. Clean. Cons: no laundry or fitness facilities on site, somewhat dated decor (worth noting that the place is very well maintained all the same) and it can get a bit loud on weekends during hockey season. Will definitely recommend this spot to business travelers.

The cleanless is ok, the food is ok, perfect for business travel purposes.

Service was great and the people were friendly. Facilities could use more regular cleanings

Great hotel with renovated rooms. Surprisingly quiet. Free breakfast, very clean. Missing a fitness room, but no complaints

Good stay. The complimentary breakfast was great. I didn't like the pillows and couldn't find the temperature controls for the room (it was cold). Have stayed here before and would stay again.

Enjoyed my stay overall. Breakfast in the morning was great, staff was friendly and helpful, and the rooms were very clean and stocked well.

Decent hotel. Pros: room was very clean, the staff were very friendly, we loved the convenience of a drive-up room. Cons: breakfast had gross eggs and bed was really hard. It was pleasant enough that we would go back, though.

Pretty good. Clean. It has vending machines. In town. Close to a lot of things

Basic comfortable place to sleep. Friendly front desk. Breakfast area was small, food was no frills, but decent.

Room was fine, bed good and firm but the Hot Breakfast was a bit of a circus. Space too small, not enough tables and chairs, Limited menu and a football scrum to get one's breakfast assembled. I think the hotel is aware of this but it needs to be made public.

Basic accomodation that's worth the price. Adequate breakfast the next morning but be prepared to be mess-monitored during breakfast. Windows in room are a little pokey, not much ventilation hence a slight toilet smell when you enter the room. Otherwise basic cleanliness.

Smaller quiet hotel. First floor rooms have sliding doors to the outside for easy packing/unpacking.

Wonderful place to stay. Staff very friendly and helpful!

Nice hotel very friendly. Convenient to everything walking distance to Timmies, Walmart, groceries and restaurants would definitely stay here again.

The room was well maintained and the staff was very friendly. Suggestion: when motorcyclists show up, it would be nice to offer a drive-up room rather than second floor (I will learn to request this in my reservation). Breakfast was standard fare and the breakfast room was quite crowded. Luckily, two gentlemen offered to share there table. Problem averted. I liked my stay, but expected a bit more for the price.

Great stay. Breakfast is not that great. Very dull and tastless

The Comfort Inn, Amherst was in the ideal location for me to stay when my granddaughters were competing in the Eastern Gymnastics Competition. It was close to the stadium and included breakfast. It didn't have any special features, which suited me. It was actually cheaper than the other local hotels. The staff were super friendly and the rooms were recently updated. Very comfortable bed and bedding. I had a great night sleep.

This is the third year for staying here over Christmas, haven't had any complaints, and they have waffles!

Nice place. Son likes the pool, wife likes the waffles

Just went for a swim with my 3 kids and a few other friends, very clean, nice pool area/slide/hot tub.

Competent professional staff. Nice clean lobby. Well kept pool.

The hotel is very clean! Their pool is super fun with the spiral slide! It's not to deep either so even toddlers can go in it

Solidly good hotel. Rooms are clean and staff is friendly & helpful. My room had no spare roll of toilet paper and a nearly empty roll. As well, the drink vending machine was completely empty. Just a couple gripes in an otherwise good stay.

Room was super clean. Staff was nice and helpful. Love convenience of sliding glass door of 1st level room which allowed us to enter/exit without going thru lobby. Confortable bed and pillows. No isses whatsoever.

Nice hotel clean well keept. The majority of the staff is really nice besides the woman that does breakfast… the free breakfast is nice and is alright for being free but don't expect to much the eggs are horrible.

Edda W.

Friendly and clean but hell on weekend's, there's always sports teams and they are constantly screaming and yelling in the halls, and they threaten to kill you. Every weekend the police have to be called

For the love of God, save your dignity and sleep in your car. This place is nasty & dirty, I've sat next to many homeless during subway trips in Toronto, and none of them have smelled as bad as our room. The woman at the front desk was unsympathetic that we had requested a ground floor room and said that because we had booked through Expedia she was unable to change our room, despite there being only 4 cars in the entire parking lot, one of which was obviously hers, so even though the place was virtually empty she could not move us to a ground floor. I hate it when "customer service" people are completely void of empathy and are inflexible. The channel lineup on the TV has shrunk to the point of counting the watchable stations on one hand. The "free Wi-Fi" is down, disturbing to see that they still have not corrected that since the last review of this dump over a year ago, see below. Like I said before, save your patience and dignity, go find a 24hrs Tim Hortons parking lot and sleep in your car. I've stayed in lots of hotels during my adult life, and in the race to the bottom, this place (dump) is so far in the lead for last place that they have lapped 2nd place 100 times.

Stopped here on our way to New foundland because all Hotels were sold out in Moncton and Sackville because of some car show, didn't help that it was a Saturday night either. Having stayed at another comfort inn located in Montreal I can speak to the quality here which is very poor and costed $20 more then our other stay for one night. The rooms are small and offer an older temperature gauge and you have to manually turn the AC unit on. Bathrooms are about 15years old. When I asked if they had a pool they laughed and said they would be out of business if they had one! Everything is old and requires help or knowledge to use here. Not to mention how poor the Wi-Fi connection was here. Couple bars and maybe 1mbps connection at best and at 7pm it came crashing to a halt. No hot breakfast in the morning! Enough said? Very disappointing! Boiled eggs which we had to microwave to warm up was all we had to choose from aside from a bowl of cereal or a muffin. If I had my money back would've stayed else where but we had no choice. Comfort inn in Montreal was very nice and considered a 5 star over this one which is a 0 if possible.

Most of staff was polite, manager was very rude and unaccomidating.
