Horrible customer service. They threatened to cancel room. Phone in room didn’t work. Insanely small rooms. Rude service desk clerks…list goes on and on.

👎🏽 rooms were small, and crammed with furniture. Bathroom was dirty. Kiddy pool was not open (we have a 8 month/6 year/8 year old) staff was not friendly. 👍🏽 underground parking garage was very nice. Breakfast was great as well. They have 2 free kids meals per every paying adult.

Very rude management, not helpful, and lied when they refused to give our money back and told us they were sold out, which Expedia showed us they were not. Was very shocked to hear management speak to potential clients in the manner they did.

Because of the restaurant being closed and reduced hours in the lounge, it would be nice if they could provide some things that you could normally get from room service. We ran out of milk and they weren’t sure they had any they could give us. They did and it was very much appreciated but it seemed like an issue.
We have stated there a few times though and our stay has always been enjoyable.

Pool area is amazing. Lot of fun for the kids.

Amazing play structure and pool at this property for young families. It is extremely unfortunate that our entire family could not enjoy it together. It saddens me that in the year 2019 with a company as large as IHG they do not have a better awareness of accessibility and customer service. I am writing this in hopes that no other family will have to experience that ours did. This morning my husband and little girl went to enjoy the pool I stayed in our room to tidy before joining them. When I entered the pool area I circled the entire area hearing my husband and daughter have a fantastic time laughing and joking splashing around to only find stairs at every entrance to the raised pool deck. I did call serval times my husband who was unable to hear me to come assist me. I went down the the lobby to inquire further, thinking I had just missed the ramp to be told I was correct the pool area is inaccessible, that I would be unable to join my family but we are sorry there is nothing that we can do for you, if you notified us at check in we could have possibly looked at moving you. Apparently wheeling up to the counter in my chair and confirming our request for an accessible room at check in was not sufficient.

My family and I rented a banquet room, Salon Room C, for our Mom's 60th birthday. Angie was super helpful in the booking process and showed me the room prior to booking. We were able to bring our own food in to enjoy, which was one of the main reasons we booked here. This banquet room also had its own personal restroom, sink and fridge. We also rented hotel rooms so that we could check out their famous 3-story play structure and pool! On the evening of the party, the hotel staff were very accommodating to our needs, even though the building was quite busy being a Saturday night. But when we called down to the front desk about 3 different times, they sent someone up each time right away. We will definitely keep this place in mind for future celebrations!

So Far, Great place, pool area awesome and so is the big Place structure! Only negative as of now is Pool deck is extremely Slippery, doesn’t take much to slip… else than that, Excellent, highly recommend it!

My 3 and 6 year old boys had a lot of fun. I loved that they gave free breakfast for everyone.

It was a good time for my son's birthday. Too bad one of our rooms smelled like the previous renter had a few cigarettes before leaving. Good thing we had two rooms and switched our in laws. Other than that, it was great.

We had a grand old time bringing the little kiddos to the holiday inn airport polo park location. Clearly the airport hotel would be near an airport, not in one of the old suburbs of Winnipeg?! How mistaken could we be! After our trip to the holiday Inn by the airport (Holiday Inn airport polo park) we then also had fun driving back to Charleswood to go to the Holiday Inn Airport West (Charleswood) location. It had a great play place and a nice kiddie pool area. I would suggest reconsidering your naming scheme however.

Hotel was nice. Staff was alright. Me and four other girls stayed in a suit that sleeps 6. Our room was supposed to include free breakfast but apparently they only allow up to two adults per room to have the free breakfast. Stupid rule if you ask me and when I asked the front desk staff about it, they were kind of rude and sassy. Besides that the room was good and clean and the area wasn’t bad. Pool is nice for kids but not good for adults as much or if you want to swim laps.

Amazing hotel. Friendly staff. Clean modern rooms. I gave the 5 stars though because they have a play area for the kids, plus a pool and hot tub. Having a resturant is convenient too. My kids forgot their socks, and hence cannot use the play area and the hotel had some for $ 2 thanks God. So overall this is a very family friendly hotel.

This is a lovely hotel! It's very accessible to restaurants, but it does have a restaurant on the ground floor which is also affordable and the best part is the kids eat free (breakfast and dinner) if you order an adult meal and if you are staying at the hotel. The hotel also has a huge playground and pool, my kids loved it! The rooms are clean and looks new, so far we enjoyed our stay here and would definitely stay again!

Nice bar, good food and good meetings rooms. Good parking. Great view of the city as you get into the higher rooms.

This hotel rates among the best I have been in.
I stayed here for 37 days and must say the staff are first rate and among the friendliest in any hotel.
Restaurant is clean and the food is as good as any restaurant you could find and prices are very reasonable.
Would definitely recommend to both my friends and colleagues.
This is now my goto hotel in Winnepeg.

Great hotel nice bar in the lobby. Has been renovated in the past few years and had heated parking for cars. When I'm working in Winnipeg I always stay here.

A very nice hotel to rest the heads of tired travelers. Not far from the airport and just off of the Trans Canada highway, this hotel has many features that are attractive: family friendly pool & play area, nice restaurant and bar with decent food and somewhat fair pricing. When I return to Winnipeg, this hotel will be on my short list for places to stay.

Daughter went for a birthday party — she loved it. They swam, played on the structure, and was so impressed that they had beds! LOL. Great time had by all.

We used the service Chambers for the Miss teenage Canada World competition. The employees did not finish assembling our rooms on the first day, but they were so nice. The rooms were also crisp anyway, so we were happy.

One of the best spots for families with young kids. Pirates cove play structure and the pool was hours and hours of fun for the kids. Only thing you could add is a waterslide. Hotel room was clean and our stay was very fun.

Our room is fairly nice. It had been recently redone. We did have issues on the second night with the air conditioner not working. The restaurant was decent and the kids eat free with a paying adult. The kids had a blast in the pool and play structure. It is one of the better ones in the city.

I called the shuttle twice already from the airport at 9:10am and its almost 10 am and no shuttle service so far. If you have all day then it's worth it otherwise call a cab. I would not recommend this kind of service to anyone at all.

We spend our vacation here but it end up horrible the receptionists are not friendly, when we went to our room the sink was clogged even their Wi-Fi is so slow that I have to use my data everytime I used the internet.
They don’t have ice maker in our vicinity you have to go to the other floor for the ice maker.
The pool is very slippery.
They don’t have free breakfast
You have to pay for it, the food was awful and unsatisfying the bacon was very hard even the pancakes. My kids didn’t eat their food and there is not enough choices variety to choose even the lady server is so rude her name is Shirley. Im not gonna go back to this hotel ever again I don’t even recommend this hotel for my friends and family.

Hotel is great. Underground parking is an extra plus, except the elevators take " forever" after 11 pm, and have to call to get one to come to the parkade… It's a real pain when in a wheelchair. Rooms are perfect, too bad you can't use points to get a particular kind of room, other than a "standard" room. Food is great, but restaurant hours are weird, and have to go to the lounge to eat… or go elsewhere.

The rooms are fantastic, they have a fridge and microwave. The bar and restaurant is ok and the swimming pool is pretty descent. This hotel isn't to bad for the price and there is a number of restaunts around the area. Also the hotel has underground parking and the parking is free. I would recommend this hotel while visiting Winnipeg on business or pleasure.

It was excellent, the only 2 things that I didn't like was waiting to check in at check in time which was at 3 pm. And it took 20 minutes for my breakfast to be served, obviously I didn't give a tip. Otherwise, we had a Dinner for 2 $40 maximum Dine in only but they accommodated us by bringing it to us because our daughter was sick. Thank you to the manager for that. We had a great time! There should be a self check in kiosks with front desk. Also, our bill was higher than expected but they adjusted it before we checked out. A big thank you to front desk for adjusting the cost of staying there!

This is one of the nicest hotels I've stayed in, especially for those with children. The rooms are lovely, and the suites are amazing — I've stayed in both. They are comfortable and modern. The best part about this hotel, though, is the play structure. There is a nice area at the back designed for toddlers — soft flooring and soft structures to climb, and two little slides. There's also a really fun ball area with pneumatic tubes which take the balls various places throughout the structure — you can send them into a big basket which dumps the foam balls periodically into the main area, or you can send them to areas with ball cannons so you can shoot the balls. They are pretty soft, so that's okay. I will stay here any time I need a hotel in Winnipeg!

I like renting and building. There is heated underground parking, and it's free.

Not the best place to stay.
Had our sons birthday party there this past weekend which was ok. The play area was nice and the staff member who was working the room was friendly.
The food was meh and not worth the price they were asking.
Front desk wasn’t very helpful and we received charges that we weren’t informed of before booking the party.
We also decided to stay the night and from first appearance the room was nice. When laying in the bed it was very stiff and uncomfortable and the pillows weren’t any better.
The doors are so heavy that every time someone left their room the thud was loud and woke you up.
We decided to have dinner in the hotel instead of going across the street to Boston Pizza and it was a big disappointment.
We stood for 15 minutes before I think it was a manger noticed us and had a server seat us.
The food wasn’t very good and definitely not worth what we paid.
The next morning we went for breakfast which seems to be the only things that was good. We were seated and served quickly and the wait staff were friendly and quick.

The kids love the pool and structure play area. We've gone here twice for new years parties. They keep the pool area open extra late that night too. IHG members get a late check-out of 2pm which is fantastic and all kids under 12 get free breakfast. Love coming here!

We booked a suite. The door for the bathroom was a shared door for the closet which was a little strange. The door did not have a lock on it and would slowly slide open after closing it. During check in the employee said that the room included free breakfast which we found out was not true the next day. The elevator takes a really long time, about 5 minutes to get to the parking level floor when you call it. All of the employees are very nice and greet you everywhere. And apart from the bathroom door, (which was really bad) the room was good.

Rooms are comfortable and spaceous. Loved the new pool area, if you stay over the weekend expect the hotel be full of little ones running around, and the pool ares be a little busier, as they also hold birthday parties. Breakfast is average, but great service.

Stayed this past Friday night for my Grandson's 5the birthday. The rooms were comfortable and very clean. The pool and play area is so much fun for kids and adults alike. I ate in the lounge, restaurant and ordered pizza for our little party. I found it no more expensive than other restaurants and was excellent. I saw lots people bringing in Boston Pizza and Pizza Hut and I don't know why, the in-house pizza is really, really good and only $12.99 for a large. Would take it over BP or PH anytime. Wait staff, front end food delivery and Angela the manager all friendly and helpful and efficient. My only complaint was that whole families were hogging the hot tub for over the allotted 10 minute time allotment. Not a problem when it isn't busy but I had a very sore back and it took forever to get in it. Not the hotel's fault just selfish people.

We stayed here in April 2017. The place was still under renovation and the restaurant was closed, although room service was still available. Our room (double queen) was newly renovated and very nice. We stayed there with our two kids, for the express purpose of using the excellent facilities (play structure and pool), which the kids love. The only drawback was that for a family of four staying for 3 nights, the double queen room was small. We were on top of each other the whole time. However, this is not a reflection on the hotel, but rather on our room choice. We're going back, but this time have booked a suite, in order to give us more space and privacy.

I like this hotel. I usually try in stay in IHG hotels when traveling for work. The staff are all great and friendly here. I like the holiday inn breakfasts. The gym area is pretty nice for an inexpensive hotel. I would recommend. The kids play area would be great if you are traveling with little ones.

The room we had was nice. It had a modern look with a big shower. The kids liked the pool but they really enjoyed the pirates cove play structure. Kids ate free with a paid adult. Overall it was a very nice stay.

Best hotel I have been to in Winnipeg yet. Service was extremely friendly, there was a very large play structure that was perfect for my son to play around on. Gym equipment looked top notch even though I didn't use it. The breakfast we ordered through room service was prompt and delicious. Pool was a little shallow at 4 feet deep but it was the temperature for relaxing in. The underground parking was a nice feature. I would recommend this place to anyone who needs a place to stay in Winnipeg.

Rooms are clean and comfy. They are being renovated and some signs of aging remain. Water from the tap is brown so bring your own for consumption. HDMI port on television is blocked by mounting brackets. Breakfast is good enough but food from the lounge is passable.

Very nice hotel with a very cool pool. Kids loved the frog water slide. The room was not the biggest, but the bathroom was very spacious. Ordered room service. Good food. Would recommend this hotel.

Stayed in the suite. Salt water pool is very nice with perfect temperature water. Also hot tub. Beds are comfortable. Room has a full sized fridge with two burner stove. Dishes were supplied. Maintenance wad quick to come up to fix air conditioner. Great stay!

We had a great experience here. We were allowed to check in early, which was really a big help so we could go do some sightseeing. Staff was all extremely friendly and helpful. The play area is amazing. Both girls loved it, and played for hours. We got the two bedroom suite, and we honestly didn't want to leave! The girls had their own beds, everything was very clean, and the room had obviously been renovated recently. Having two bathrooms felt so luxurious! For the price we paid, you cannot beat this place. Highly, highly recommend.

It was good, but I leave a tie in my room, and cleaning team a throw in the trash. Any other was clean and pretty.

One of the worst experience after a very long time I told them AC is not working lady said she will send someone to fix it when I got back to the hotel they said there was nothing wrong but temperate was 24 and I had it at 18 it would not come down hot water in the shower takes its time to come and water pressure very slow. All these problems and I was staying in the newly renovated rooms. Also Wi-Fi speed was very slow, I travel alout so I know how good this chain is but this hotel very bad experience.

The hotel room when I arrived was quite cold, but the room and decor was presentable and clean. The food and service was professional and came out hot and good.

I was there for a banquet and the banquet went great. Food was good. However late in the night we got hungry so I went to lounge to order some pizzas. They had medium pizzas on sale for $9.99. When I was picking up pizzas a guy working said "oh you ordered pizzas? I guess they're getting kind of better now". Sure made me excited to get my pizza that not even guy working endorsed. Found out they are frozen pizzas. Overall, nice venue, pizza not so nice.

We stayed at Holiday Inn in room 225 it was good with a pool and had a great experience.

Pool and kids play place were excellent and tired our kids out. Also the hours that the pool and play place were open were very long which was great. The restaurant however had terrible service and small portion sizes.

Stale smell of the room, no air circulation, poor service at the reception when we arrived — receptionist would give priority to a calm than the guest that she was taking care off. Great pool and kids playground, with gym and ping pong plus fusbol. I stayed here here only for one night on my way to BC and it wasn't worth it, to top it up there is no breakfast with your room. They are upgrading some of the rooms. But until then this holiday Inn desapointed me.

Swimming pool was not clean, bathroom is very small, worse internet slow and keep stoping every 5 minute, no microwave in room, noisy heater fan, any way I love holliday inn hotels but not this one.

I normally stay here when I travel to winnipeg. I didnt have a issue with the room and the staff. The food needs some work. But overall, great exercise area and clean rooms.

I've been here a couple of times. It's dated, but I've always had good service. It's close to the place I work at when I'm in town so it's convenient. There's certainly nicer hotels out there, but it's reasonable. The water park for kids is awesome.

I will start with the positives: We have 3 small children, so the Pirate Island play area and pool were a huge hit! The rooms are a bit dated, but were clean and fairly typical size for a hotel room. The Kids Eat Free is a nice bonus, and the food was good at Bell Bottoms Restaurant. Most of the staff were great, very friendly and welcoming! Last night at midnight we get a knock on our door. It was the maintenance manager. He was concerned the air conditioner in our room was leaking as there was a leak outdoors. He was very respectful and came in quietly to check the unit. It was indeed leaking ALOT. He attempted to turn off the valve (again quietly, and he never woke our kids). When he wasn't able to remedy the issue he informed us we needed to be moved from the 2nd to the 11th floor. So, we had to wake our 3 sleeping kids (under age 5) and move all our stuff in the middle of the night. He put us in a suite, which was nice and was helpful with moving our things. He informed us our night would be complimentary and he wouldn't be surprised if we were given a free stay for our next visit. Now for the negative: We had the worst customer service experience ever with the front desk manager this morning. When my husband went to check out the staff provided him with a bill for the nights stay. My husband kind of chuckled and asked to speak with the manager. She was extremely confrontational with him from the get go. Never once did she apologize for the major inconvenience.

I was upgraded to the executive suite upon arrival. I asked for another room within minutes of seeing it. This suite would have been terribly ugly when it was decorated in the late eighties (1990, tops), and naught has been done to it since. It must speak volumes about the rest of the place if this suite looks this bad. I've reviewed a lot of hotels, but I can't seem to find enough words to describe how I feel about this room. Technically, it's clean, and nothing is broken. It just has the fluorescent charm of a warehouse. I can't believe any 'executive' would want to spend more than 5 minutes in here. Aside from the hideous suite, parking was an unwelcome challenge as the garage is closed for repair. Wi-fi worked fine, the bed was comfortable, and the restaurant serves a typical HI breakfast (although it's typically more expensive than the HI downtown). Overall, there's nothing about this place that would entice me to come back, unless they renovated. 5/10.

Spent 5 days here and I am completely satisfied. Great customer service, pleasant and helpful staff. Rooms were kept clean, punctual house keeping. Didn't use their facilities (pool, ex room) but I saw lots of kids heading down there. Food was good too. Will come back again.
