We arrived late in the evening and were exhausted after a 14 hour drive. The staff was quick to get us checked in and get us to our room. The location was excellent as we were needing to pick up and drop off family at the airport throughout the week-end. The room was spacious. We appreciated the extra sink outside of the bathroom as there were 3 of us trying to get ready for a funeral. Although breakfast is not included at this Best Western, the restaurant was reasonably priced if you asked for a voucher from the front desk. We will not hesitate to stay here again should we be in Winnipeg.

I attended a professional conference at the Best Western and supper was provided. The food was excellent and the staff was fantastic at making sure our tables were cleared promptly and hot beverages refilled. All without disrupting the speaker and everyone's attention. Another plus to note was the ambient temperature! Too many hotels have their air conditioning working overtime and the rooms end up far too frigid to actually enjoy the talk. But Best Western was just perfect, even in a light top, I was comfortable the entire evening.

Have been to meetings at this place. We looked at it one time for booking our regular event but chose another venue instead. That said, the employees are friendly, and the event rooms are easy to access with additional space outside the event room for greeting people and for coffee tea and other food service.

My experience at this hotel was the best I’ve had at ANY hotel including some of the 5 star hotels I have stayed at. I’m currently going from BC to NS so a lot of stops. We arrive here and the front desk staff are extremely friendly, check in was made simple and easy, and they gave us two free vouchers for the breakfast buffet. We arrive to our room and it was very clean and the option of the door to cut off the others I was staying with, was nice and gave a feel of having your own room. After about 20 minutes our phone rang and it was the front staff making sure everything was okay in our room, which I’ve never had happen to me so it was nice. Then we went down to the pool and hot tub which were also clean and the temperatures were perfect! We stayed the night which was awesome for the bed but just good for the pullout couch but if I had called down I have no doubts they would have brought me an extra topper or whatever I needed as they already brought me extra pillows. The next morning we went downstairs for breakfast, and they sat us at a booth. For someone who doesn’t eat meat or dairy and is gluten free, it is hard for me to find things I can eat. EVEN THOUGH it was a buffet the chef offered to make me a different kind of eggs without cream and offered me gluten free toast for no extra charge. They also had fruit, and cereal with almond mylk. Extraordinary customer service and great options for anyone with allergies or food restrictions.

Didn't stay at hotel but my cousin had her wedding there today and the staff were amazing. Friendly, considerate and even played with some of the kids here and there. Food was delicious!

Mother's Day brunch was once again fabulous. Great food and service. What could make it better? Being ready to go at opening. Thanks again for a beautiful, delicious and fairly priced event for Mother's Day.

The team when I checked out were awesome! When I was at the airport I figure out that I left a samsung tablet in my room. I phoned the front desk and they have it delivered in the airport for me. Talking about giving customer service and taking that extra mile.

The rooms were very nice with two sinks and a nice bathroom and service was commendable. The hot tub and pool left something to be desired (hot tub was not very hot, pool was very small). The hotel was very nice in general, do recommend.

Experience at the hotel was very relaxing, and that makes me /us make bw our first choice next time. Heating /cooling worked very good. Keep up the good work. Thanks, Jonathan.

It's always a pleasure to stay at the Best Western Plus Airport in Winnipeg. After a long day's work, it's my home away from home. Staff are friendly, efficient and professional, and the rooms are comfortable, clean and welcoming. Thanks from a loyal customer.

We picked this hotel for years and years for our family visits, everything was fine till our final stay there I had just come in from outside smoking and put a saver a. K. A a ciggarette butt half ways. And went into our room whilst the cleaning lady was there and she told the front desk we were smoking in our room! Which was a total lie. There the manager and her co worker were there looking on the floor for evidence trying to pin a sticky substance that they thought was ashes, that was already on the floor when we got there. They said" pack up your stuff gotta find another hotel! " Till I pulled out my saver. And they were like "you can stay but you have to bag up that cigarette butt" me and my family will not be returning there. Very unreasonable service and attitude towards customers. This was our favorite hotel too to stay in the city too bad things turned out this way.

Staff were very friendly and accommodating! I have 6 month old twins and was by myself. At the beginning of our stay they had a playpen brought up which was excellent. At the end of my stay they granted me a late check-out and were then extremely patient with me while I loaded all of our stuff and exited the room. While checking out one of the staff actually stayed with my babies after wheeling my luggage down for me! Extremely appreciated Staff, thx a bunch! My only issue was that 1 out of the 2 elevators were out of service and the one that was working had an expired licence by 3 months.

Well, well what shall I say. This place is all about money for sure. We had a small conference here and first impression was good. The business sales staff was prompt in calling back and so I chose them over other options. Room rate was very reasonable, but they get you on other things. The lunch / coffees for 12 in the morning and 30 people for lunch and afternoon turned out very expensive $1, 950. They charged for more people than what came and they said that they have to prepare for what we book for which was 40, so it cost us $63 per attendee (rooms extra of course). I can see the logic in that statement but we ran out of a full variety of sandwiches and the salad bowl was nearly empty and there were still a few people to eat yet. So that argument didn't hold true even tho it could've made sense if there was a lot of left overs. The rooms were spotless tho' that is definitely the drawing card at this hotel. The lobby not so clean and appealing. The hospitality service was average.

Use hotel through park, sleep, fly. Great way to get to airport early with their shuttle. Each parking spot is plug ins so didn’t need to worry about vehicle while we were gone.

Staying here for several weeks. No complaints. Very clean. Nice staff. Good Food at restaurant. Just not to close to things other than the airport and Polo Park.

As always, the service trumps the actual hotel itself. They have customer service that is fantastic… especially front desk staff. But the hotel is dated and needs some love. Also, the front entrance is usually a bit dirty and full of smoking men. It’s a little daunting. This hotel houses CN employees, so I do understand why. Can’t complain about how they care for customers though. Always the best!

Nice hotel. Very clean and well maintained. Staff was great and very helpful. Only issue with the stay was the bed. It was very hard and in comfortable.

I was there for a wedding. The food was awesome and the space was done up very elegantly. The only thing that would have made it better was more space in the foyer for cocktails.

Attend many meetings and training sessions there. Staff are always accommodating to adjust the heat. The refreshment snacks are good. Excellent food and buffet in the restaurant. Conference room chairs could be more ergonomically friendly.

My husband and I were treated very well at our last stay at the Best Western on Wellington Ave. The Receptionist was very friendly and upgraded our room once she saw our Gold Rewards Card. The room was clean and very comfortable. We enjoyed our stay.

The ballroom was beautifully decorated. The staff was so polite and helpful. It was clean and well lit. Parking lot was well lit and plowed. Really enjoyed my time there.

Exceptional Service. Dinner at Daltons was perfect.

I'm staying here for work so I am able to experience a large aspect of what this place has to offer. It is very clean and well kept, though the elevators are very slow and slightly sketchy. Housekeeping is great, rooms are spacious and nicely furnished. The Wi-Fi is quite slow, though. The biggest complaint I have is the quality of the buffets for food — I would rate them approximately a 3 out of 5. All in all I am happy here but I am unsure if I would stay here on my own dime.

The hotel location is convenient to the airport. The staff are friendly, professional and courteous. We enjoyed our stay and we would stay there again next time we are in Winnipeg.

Tv remote didn't work. Reported to front desk got another remote that didn't work. Went to front desk and reported it. Still nothing till the next day. Then it was fixed. Don't use the express checkout if you have a small credit card. They charge a security deposit and then charge for the room. Ate my credit card. Was lucky I had cash for gas to go home. Still waiting for the security deposit to be returned.

We were at a wedding. And stayed overnight. Wedding was great. Was surprised the ran out of vodka and wine. Food was awesome. Room was nice clean. We asked for a play pen. Got it in less than 10 minutes. All around it was a great evening and night.

I am only writing my review for my experience in staying at the hotel overnight. I will not comment on the wedding I attended there as it's a separate issue involving different people. The front desk staff was very friendly and attentive. They checked us in immediately and even allowed an early check-in as the wedding was scheduled for the same time as their normal check-in. We received a beautiful upgrade of a King Bed. The room was so nice a quiet and I loved the bed. Unfortunately, we didn't get to spend much time in the room as we left the wedding at 3:30 am.

Attended a wedding here and the room provided was very nice. The reception was held in an adjacent room and was also quite nice. Ample parking and easy access to the lot. Clean hotel with attentive staff.

Rooms were very clean, had a good view from the 3rd floor. Housekeeping was very attentive, always had my bed made and room done when I came back. Noise levels from other rooms were practically non-existent and the bathrooms are large with hot water that never runs out. Basically what you'd expect from something in the range of 110-150$ hotel. I liked staying here.

This Hotel still has the Greenwood Room! Also, it was my first time back since a rough incident. I loved it, comfortable, staff is friendly, and Hot Tub was hot!

Room was nice, spacious, and comfortable beds. Fridge and microwave was a welcome addition. Unfortunately, the bathroom was not cleaned well, and that left a sour impression. I mentioned this to hotel staff upon check out and they were very professional, stating they would address it immediately and offered a room discount. This was a nice gesture and I will consider staying again.

Overall good experience. Was approached by a homeless person when returning from dinner. Was surprised to find that breakfast did not come with the room. I should have paid closer attention. For the price I paid, most BW include breakfast. Would have stayed somewhere else had I known! Very nice room and friendly staff.

Excellent staff, super friendly, very patient. The elevator was broken and was making weird clanking noises and was slow… It was sketchy. The breakfast was very dull… Not sure how you ruin bacon but, it wasn't good. Also had to get up to go find the coffee and juice we ordered. The rooms are good, soft beds, cold pillows :), clean washrooms. The staff were great. Can't get over how wonderful they were. I'd try this hotel again if I came back to Wpg. Oh, 7-8$ to/from the airport from here in a cab. (Pretty decent) Oh! And walking distance to a Tim Horton's.

Welcoming staff acknowledged that because of my early departure to catch an early morning flight they reduced the price of my room as I was not eating the complementary breakfast. The room was clean and very quiet. It was a short but enjoyable stay.

Key card style access is outdated and cards don't always work. Elevators are extremely slow and have a oil-smell to them. Rooms are decent and clean, beds are comfortable. TV's are small for the room size. Breakfast vouchers are reasonably priced and lots of options at the buffet. Hotel lounge has high prices, considering the atmosphere.

Reservation process was more of a sale process for a commissioned agent at the customer service desk. The room and common area was fairly clean. The staff is helpful to an extent, the manager and the staff was unable to explain the Accommodation Tax that they charge to rip off people. I spoke to head office and they said they will investigate, returned the charges for staying the night along with 2 free nights wherever I would like next and whenever. So if anyone going there should tell the staff ahead of time about the Accommodation Tax, which they cannot charge LEGALLY!

Ordered room service nachos. They were the most exquisite dish I've ever had the honour of devouring. The cheese to chip ratio was perfect, and I don't throw that word around often. The beef and peppers were layered fantastically throughout the entrée, almost as if angels had placed them in the perfect spots. Truly a life changing experience. 11/10 would order these nachos again.

This was the worst stay I have ever exspirianced for best western and I'm an employee myself in a different location. It all started with the shower there was hair left in the tub, the drain didn't work and the shower head didn't have any pressure due to it being stuck half and half then I decided to relax in the hot tub… I soon come to realize the tub stripped my rings that were silver plated and turned my expensive pink bikini a purple blue… service was good other than that… if there is nobody to service the pool it should be shut down.
